is this better than https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N3W1T21/ ? i will upgrade to 3700x in a month.

i oc mine to 3200 18/19/19/39. not sure if it is good or not.

u/NiteNiteSooty · 3 pointsr/Amd

i bought these for 89 quid. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07N3W1T21/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

they claim to be 3600mhz cl 17. do you think i will be able to get these to 3733 cl17?

Cougar QBX might be a good case for you. There aren't many itx motherboards for Ryzen 3000, but it seems both the ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac and MSI B450I GAMING PLUS AC come with the new BIOS for them to be compatible from Amazon. Ryzen 3700x since you have the budget. Then I'd probably put 32GB of Ballistix Sport LT 3000 or 3200mhz into it, and manually OC it to 3600mhz since that RAM OC's better than most. Or if you're just looking for 16GB get Viper Steel (or the 3733 versions if you know how to mess with infinity fabric to get 1:1 ratio)

A little late to the party, but I just finished my Ryzen 7 3700x build with a very similar setup to you; I have an x570 board (MSI Gaming Plus, not the Aourus) and I decided on this ram:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N3W1T21/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

The RAM was more of a stand in at this stage, I figured I might end up upgrading it in the future, I just wanted something that ran stable at 3600 mHz. I had some issues with the BIOS (that's probably related to MSI and I doubt you'll have the same problem) but since properly configuring the XMP it's been smooth sailing, passed MemTest with no errors. I'm not planning on OCing the RAM though and as I said I might upgrade later, but it's (in my opinion) a very solid budget choice.

I considered your Corsair RAM before settling on this, and the reason I didn't buy it was because I was seeing a lot of negative reviews about instability at higher clock speeds. Then the Patriot went on sale and that did it for me.

Its listed as 3600 ram but if you read the description it says timings as tested 3733 c17. Out of stock most of the time tho.

I'll switch the HP SSD for the SX 8200 PRO.

The thing for the board, it's that I buy the peace to not updating the bios. The difference between the B450 Carbon Pro AC and the X570 Aorus Elite don't work the time. For 40$, i can suck it up.

For the RAM, if I go for the 3600mhz, i hesitate between the G.Skill Ripjaws V Series or the Patriot Viper Steel. And for the CPU cooler, does the DeepCool Neptwin White (45$ on Amazon.ca) can do the job?

I have the same problem u have, op.

I think this is the best kit I found:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N3W1T21/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_iB23Db7ZB3DHW

But now I need a MB that supports that speed

u/divvydan1 · 1 pointr/bapcsalesaustralia

Possibly, however, the Ryzen 3000 series has better memory support than the Ryzen 2000 series. As /u/BLUuuE83 mentioned, getting a 3600MHz (MT) kit and then just going in and enabling A-XMP is probably the way to go unless you're really into overclocking memory.

Cheapest I can see is this kit which is in stock later this week but might take a couple of weeks to ship. Obviously you're paying a little more for something you can pick up in person, closer to $150.

u/Maximus8392 · 1 pointr/buildapc

So what do you say about the DDR4 16GB (2 x 8GB) 3600MHz version? 32GB less RAM than what I want, but it's faster and I could always get 2 kits (4 x 8GB) if I want 32GB RAM.

u/PredatoreeX · 1 pointr/bapcsalescanada

That seems like a high price for any 16GB kit. This is a 3200 CL16. If you really want a 3600 CL17, you could go with one of these two. The Patriot has different timings but is cheaper. The XPG has the same timings, and also has RGB like the TridentZ.

Which RAM kit should I get for R7 3700X?

https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-3200MHz-Desktop-Memory/dp/B0143UM4TC

Or do you guys have another recommendation? My budget is $100.
