A combo like this one will cleanse a small room of bad odors. You could put your printer inside a cupboard and cut a hole for the exhaust. The fan will creative negative pressure, sucking in clean air through cracks and/or small inlets, pull it through your filter and blast it out. Get a fitting transformer to supply the fan with little less than grid voltage to make it all quieter.
Note that the unit I linked will be massively overpowered with a flow rate of 440 cubic feet per minute. You can find smaller ones in shops selling this kinda stuff. Just make sure you're not kidding around with small axial fans from computers and the like. That stuff won't be able to create enough negative pressure to suck air through the filter.
Get a straight up carbon filter fan combo like they use for growing, trust me, if it filters my grow it's going to filter smoke well enough. They last about a year for my grow, the fan will last a lot longer so you'll only need to replace the filter later on. just keep the door closed and keep it running a while after you smoke, you could even route the filtered air outside.

Sure, here's a 6" Vivosun blower for $55. Here's one with a carbon filter and speed controller included for $119. There are higher quality blowers available, but these ones are pretty good for the price point.
