Welcome to growing weed. It's the very best hobby in the world. The light that you bought will get you through your first month or two of growth, but you're going to need to upgrade before you switch to flower if you want to grow dense, potent bud. A 600 watt HPS/MH like this is your least expensive option that will max out that 4x4 with light and keep it warm too. You can put your oil filled radiator directly in the tent to keep it warm at night. Don't let your temps inside the tent drop below 65F if you can avoid it. Good luck! I hope your first harvest is dank and delicious.

I'm actually buying this one: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B00P8PDDEM/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1527083256&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=600w+hps&dpPl=1&dpID=51YcFgJYsLL&ref=plSrch

I'm trying to reach out to the company to get disscounts with coupon codes for this subreddit for people like me who
start growing indoor.

The Vbestlife is highest but only enough to flower about half your space. If you can stretch your budget a little further, I would go with this kit. You'll get far better results.

Hey man, appreciate all the help.

I bought that light, but I've decided to do indoor now in a 4x4 tent (4 plants).
I'm assuming this light will be no good in growing all 4 plants?

Considering HID lights now since my budget is $200 max CAD.

How does this one look:

seriously i get it qb are great but i would need to spend double upfront and i might need to supply more heat anyway at the since this place is hard to keep warm in cold winter. i think i'll try with an hps instead.

do you think a kit like this would be good? and what is a good sized tent to go with it?

Hi! Im also looking for my first setup. Ill have a 4x8 tent. Im about to put 2 of these in it :
https://www.amazon.ca/hydroponique-numérique-intensité-variable-réflecteur/dp/B00P8PDDEM?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_1

Im leaning toward hps because my friends swears by them. But none of them are growing in tent. Im interested in leds and qb but i know nothing about them. What would you recommend for my tent ?
