Thanks! Some influence from u/YungGravity333 for the desk idea.

I actually used a TV mount for the ultrawide and just mounted it on the wall. I used the brackets that stuck up a little higher than the monitor to mount a sound bar so it worked out great. I am using This for the vertical monitor. Which ended up great for cable management as i just ran all the cords for the ultrawide up the mount with the cords for the vertical monitor!

You would probably be better off getting rid of the wooden nook behind the monitors, buying a monitor arm extension

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IWOCCOW

Stacking a monitor above the other one, bringing the build onto the desk and you'll get more space on your huge mousepad (which at the moment is not being used at its potential and perhaps a smallet one would have done you better since the keyboard and monitors block the mouse from moving freely on it.) Best regards to you this academic year.

The exact one I'm using isn't on Amazon anymore, but this is the closest thing.

Edit: I take that back; it's exactly what I use, but branded differently

Most LG monitors have Vesa Mount option, a monitor of this size usually weighs between 15 and 20 Lbs, so a desk Vesa Mount like this one would probably so well, I have the 2 monitor version for 2 1080p panels on my set up. Probably going to get this one soon to set up a 3rd.

Thanks!

Triple stand - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006JG7G2E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Extended Single Stand - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IWOCCOW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I started with a double and worked my way up. All of the stands are essentially made by the same company and sold my different third parties.

They seem to work well.

35 inch Acer Predator on the bottom, 27 inch Asus freesync (never used, have GTX 1080) on top. Mount for it is Here. Have it clamped to the window sill since my desk has a glass top.

Edit: Replied wrong.

Monitor on top is LG 29", and mount

u/atomshrek · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

Yeah, I'm using this monitor mount. It'll work as long as your 24" has VESA mounting holes on the back.

u/KevinACrider · 1 pointr/battlestations

OP's setup is very similar to my own. I use 2 of these mounts for my top row and they are great. They are mounted on the same level/surface that my bottom row sits on. They are very solid and offer plenty of height. I strongly recommend them.

I have a 27" monitor in the middle of my top row that I mounted on the same mount, but using the shorter version, and I had to extend it myself with some modifications. It works just as well as the one I linked and I should have just purchased a 3rd one instead but I bought it first and didn't know it wouldn't be high enough.

This is the model I use for the top monitor. Holds up to 22lbs. I have a seperate amazon basics mount for the lower monitor. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IWOCCOW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks! Done for now, maybe a piece of art for the top left, but I'm out of money soo....

Here's the mount:

This one? https://www.amazon.com/d/Monitor-Arms-Stands/WALI-Single-Monitor-Adjustable-Capacity/B01IWOCCOW

It says it only supports up to 22 pounds.

How's the wobble on the side to side movement?
I suppose how far out you have your monitors from the pole matters a bit, too.

hmmmm

u/7rex · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

I was on a #budget, there is no movement ... they sit like this only.

don't do what I did. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IWOCCOW/ for the top monitor, but it's not strong enough to hold it upright. It needs the support of the bottom monitor to sit correctly.

the bottom monitor is on the stock stand and it works well.

u/mo0sic · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

What I did for heavier monitors was buy two seperate mounts. Should work in your case. This for the top and this for bottom.

u/TheSideJoe · 1 pointr/buildapc

I'm going to be acquiring a third monitor and I want to put it above one of my monitors due to space constraints. Should I go with a 2 vertical monitor vesa stand that can only adjust the Y axis and tilt, but it's a moveable stand, or a single tall vesa stand that is mounted to the edge of a desk that provides XYZ and tilt movement?

Unmovable single mount

Dual stand

u/Feral_PotatO · 1 pointr/pcmasterracents

So, you may have an issue with ordering one mount in this style. My monitor setup has one swing arm mount like this:

https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Adjustable-Capacity-Optional-WL-M001XL/dp/B01IWOCCOW

If you buy the dual mount on the fixed pole, then the top monitor won't line up with the bottom monitor correctly. The top mount arm has to come out a bit further.

u/Elpants · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

Kinda, but I'd like the mounting arms to be able to adjust horizontally and control the tilt. Primarily be able to pull the monitors closer or push them back. Even with the single gas spring I'm using now for my UW, I never really adjust the vertical height.

Closest thing I've seen so far is getting this then buying an additional arm

u/FreePvp · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

try this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IWOCCOW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_oMasDbBZ3S62C, its a tall monitor stand. make sure it will fit but it might work
