The K3 is still my favorite Kindle for stand-alone e-reading. It's well-designed and amazingly reliable.
I use an after-market, rigid clam-shell case for around the house, etc and I have an original lighted case for traveling. The lighted cases are frequently available on eBay. (A buddy with a K3 bought one there for around $30, after the gold clips on his 1st case were damaged by his kid).

Yes, you can get a case that closes with a magnet, but it doesn't control the Kindle Keyboard the way newer Kindles use the cover opening to turn on and off. But it should be fine if you just want it to keep the case closed.
But the Kindle Keyboard has a unique form factor and because it was released so many years ago, options are a little more limited. The universal cases with straps are easier to find and usually cost less.
I did a quick search on Amazon and found a few with decent reviews, but YMMV. Most of them look like the same product with different names and prices. There are probably more on ebay.

Edit: The special characters in the last link seem to be causing it to break, but cutting and pasting it should work. Doesn't matter though since they appear to all be the same cases and it's not the least expensive option.
