First thing is first those few inches of length difference do a matter a lot, it's really unnerving when your wafiu's face is all deformed because the pillow has sunken too low or you're hugging her and her feet are all floppy. Furthermore in my experience most body pillows I've bought have been a bit smaller than their advertised dimensions. So the case will certainly fit the pillows and then some. You can try to compensate by putting a smaller pillow inside at the bottom, but I recommend either cannibalizing the pillow and putting the stuffing directly in the case or just buying cotton batting so that you can make sure your pillow is perfectly full and firm.

Also as others have mentioned you're making a mistake it's not worth it, your self respect is going to go down the toilet and dakimakura provide a little level of comfort over being forever alone that keeps people from actually trying to get a girlfriend/boyfriend, just keep that in mind. Finally you linked amazon.ca so I assume you're Canadian and since Ryūko is 17 (not 18+) you're playing with fire.

i think the quilt kit a great deal for that much fabric, and a really good place to start your first big project! it's just all squares so it shouldn't be super difficult. i'ts a little big so you might have some trouble doing the quilting part without practice.

I do think the "getting started" kit i linked is a bit pricey if you don't need fabric. all you truly need to start is a cutting mat, a rotary cutter, the quilt ruler, and pins. DEFINITELY order that $26 quilt kit while it's on sale though.

Although, if i can give you a tip, there is fabric that is 108" wide that you can buy for backing and not need 4 yards, and i'm not sure what the point of the thread set is, i would just use white thread :D

So imo, just get the $26 version of the quilt kit and buy 2 yards of 108" fabric (that doesn't have a direction, so you can use it sideways)
