Play Doh is a huge hit at my house! Not sure if you still have nice weather where you are but bubbles and side-walk chalk are also big. You can also have them "paint" with water outside, just need something to hold the water and a clean paintbrush and there's no mess afterward! Busy Toddler is another good Instagram with ideas, a lot of mommy blogs also talk about dot markers but we haven't tried those yet.
