Hiya!

I've been a vegetarian since age 4 and have had UC for 5 or so years

It's tough to not eat beans, but I've found that over time I've been able to work milder legumes like chickpeas back into my diet. Soup with small amounts of barley are ok for me (I really like this one and the rest of their veggie soups).

I've also found that whole grain breads that are not seedy are generally ok for me (I don't do it all the time, but as long as it's a smooth whole grain it seems to be fine)

Tofu, nuts, cheese (my best friend), lactaid milk, smaller amounts of hummus, Morningstar farms 'meat' products (if you can do that kind of soy) are all my main types of protein!

I would definitely suggest avoiding black beans, quinoa, raw oats (cooked oatmeal is ok for me), raw broccoli/onions/corn. Anything advertised as being high in fiber is a major no-no

Definitely feel free to ask any questions you may have!
