Seems like everyone has answered your questions thoroughly. BOTW and smash are must haves. Also, the witcher 3 is coming out on the switch in like 3 weeks. Apparently first impressions are it's an awesome port, and people are suprised at how well the switch handles it.

Since you're traveling all the time, I HIGHLY recommend getting a grip case. I travel for work all the time and bring my switch for long flights, and it's really uncomfortable right out of the box for me. I would recommend something like this. Cheap and makes a world of a difference comfort wise, since it makes the joy cons feel like a real controller when using it in handheld mode.

There's even more compact options like this that make a huge difference too (I have this one as well). Grips stick out past the switch but they're smaller. It's kinda like the skull&co with the smallest grips attached but a little less bulky.
