Looks like Xiami Yi 4 or the Xiami Yi 4+ are the rising competitors. They apparently use the same sensors as the GoPro (the sony one) but I don't know about accessories, like something like a BacPac extended battery from GoPro, I don't know if it would fit on the YI 4+.
