I wouldn't spend a lot of money on a "fancy" stylus. Get Notability, which has palm rejection built into the software.

Something like this one works extremely well, is durable (should last your whole year at school at least), and makes no noise when writing. This one also has a real pen built into the other side in case you need to write a note (on paper) for something, or give the hot chick next to you your phone number :)

I drew all of it on my xoom using adobe photoshop touch and this capacitive stylus.
Lots of fun to do. Being able to draw directly on a screen makes a huge difference for me. I always wanted to do things digitally, but never practiced enough to get the hang of wacoms. Photoshop touch has a lot of limitations, but for the scope of the project it worked really well.

This is the app. It lets you set up a game of werewolf with your friends (also known as Mafia) without a deck of cards or paper.

I put different colored backgrounds in the submission, but the actual image files are mostly greyscale with a alpha for the background. In the app I change the color of the card by changing the background color of the image, so it changes the color of the sky and the fog in the image as well.

This has been incredibly convenient for me. Though, my hands are small so the pen/stylus's small size fits well in my hands. I just recently went from the iPhone 4s to the massive 5.5" OnePus One. I can definitely still fit the pen comfortably in the same pocket as my phone.

I'm really digging all these key organization things though. My college living requires me to have way too many keys.

This is my EDC pen. It's similar in size to the Pico, but comes with the added bonus of being a stylus for your smartphone too.

This stylus for $8.95. Nothing special, but it works quite well and lasts a lot longer than rubber tip styli.
