I'm only a student, but if I had to get a printing calculator for class, I'd get a portable one like this. Otherwise, I use an HP-17bII+ for that sweet, sweet RPN mode.

I have one and I use it every day. At my old job I had this one: clicky

No tape, but works the same way. If I actually have to save something, I'll do it in Excel

I'm such a traditionalist that I use an old-school adding machine. It's much better than a calculator for adding/subtracting a bunch of numbers. Of course, if the numbers are already on a computer I just use excel and the SUM function.
