It involves some prep work, but I like making my own chocolate snacks using good quality cacao. This extra brute by Cacao Barry is amazing. Things I do with it:

- mix it with a bit of almond milk and stir it into banana "nice cream"

- mix it with canned pumpkin and sweetener then microwave for warm pudding

- mix with mashed bananas and microwave for a mug cake

- mix into a mocha or hot chocolate

- add to sugar free pudding to make it super chocolaty

Skinny Pop is really good, the amount of salt actually grows on you as you ween yourself off of higher sodium snacks. 100 cals per bag.

Smartfood makes a white cheddar popcorn that's solid, albeit you get a bit less than Skinny Pop for the added flavoring.

I personally love Pop Chips, 100 cals per bag and super satisfying. The Cheddar and Sour Cream and Sour Cream and Onion are both my go-tos.

Something I do the night before my workweek starts is get all the fruit I'm going to eat (apples, mangoes, kiwis, grapes, and LOTS of berries) and cut them up and put them in a big container in the fridge. I do the same thing with veggies (baby spinach/kale, chopped romaine, carrots, celery, bell peppers, baby sweet peppers, cucumber). I boil a dozen eggs, mix black beans and chickpeas, cut up some cheese, something protein-fat-ish. Then in the mornings before I go to work I grab one of these and put in my fruit/veggie/protein combo. I eat this regularly. It's a high vitamin, filling, protein packed meal that's pretty low cal.

The meal you posted would be great if you baked the chicken or did it in an air-fryer, and only had it for one meal. Make your other meal something like what I posted, or find another meal prep you like on this sub. For breakfast if you're still trying to keep it simple, yogurt, berries, a handful of cheereos, and a banana is a great choice.

Not sure if this is allowed but I just bought a scale from Amazon that I am incredibly happy with. I was like you, really wanting one but thinking I couldn't afford it. Obviously idk your finances, but I found this one was waaaaay cheaper than I thought they were. It's ten dollars and it has seriously revolutionized CICO for me. Plus its ultra slim and nice!!!

You should try Cheddies cheese crackers. I found them on Amazon and they are amazing. They are made with cheese as the first ingredient and taste just like a healthy, crunchy Cheez It. I have also tried the garlic parmesean flavor in addition to the original cheddar and they are quite tasty as well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DVK8CJZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_RnaACb4A2GR3F

Alright check this out. I've got this $45 ice cream maker.

Here's the recipe I used here:

  • 8oz coconut milk (40 calories)
  • 5oz cinnamon roll fat free greek yogurt (70 calories, 12g protein)
  • 1/4 cup Erythritol (Swerve)
  • 2 squirts of liquid splenda
  • 1 tbsp buttermilk powder (20 calories, 2g protein)
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of salt

Throw it all in your blender, then dump it in the ice cream maker.

For the topping, I left a little bit of the yogurt blend in the blender and added a quarter of this protein bar, which is really, really good. (90 calories, 6g protein)

    A couple notes:
  • You can also add an egg yolk to the froyo for a creamier consistency.
  • The Erythritol is important because it prevents ice crystals from forming. It plays the same role here that sugar plays in ice cream.

EDIT: OH, and the yield was twice as much as is pictured. :)

sorry for the late reply but- they’re actually just instant noodles! either way, they’re still really tasty and have a nice spice to them. i found these at an asian supermarket but you can find them here on amazon. i’d recommend adding bok choy along with the mushrooms. :)

Thanks! I’m obsessed with it and ordered like 4 on Amazon. It’s useful because you can switch out single and divided compartments. Airtight Bento Lunch Box... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G88APB6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Have you ever tried putting other seasonings into your Fage Yogurt? I was looking at the wall of spice packets in the store and wondering what else might be good!

I got this jar jacket and these lids and straws for quart mason jars, and I love them. It helps me drink more water throughout the day. And now I don't ever want to use a regular cup or glass, lol!

I have a Garmin Vivosmart HR and I love it! I used to have a Fitbit Charge HR, and it fell apart in the same way yours did.

I've had my Garmin for several years now and I haven't had any issues. And I bought the refurbished one on Amazon. It's $65, which I know is above your $50 price range...but if you are willing to splurge a little personally I think it's worth the extra $15.

I get this from amazon. I'm not toooo sure what it does to my skin to be completely honest with you, but only because I'm freakishly obsessed with skincare stuff and I don't know which exact products are helping me out LOL. shout out to /r/asianbeauty

No there’s a really cool little personal griddle on Amazon.com - it’s only $15, works brilliantly and barely even needs to be cleaned!
