Are you talking about sealing your air fittings? I would use something like Loctite 565. You don’t need thread locker on tapered pipe fittings.

quarter panels should have openings for any side markers or lights that need to be installed.. If you can see where they welded them up then you can undo that.

here is a full quarter panel for that car
that is factory OEM seams meaning its exactly like the original from GM
you can see the opening for the quarter lights and it has mounts for the screws that hold the lights on

Sand it out, repaint it, bolt it down with some strip caulk (like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000PEZ1L4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_NH6ZCbHMZQ2RG ) to seal around the holes and keep leaks from happening

My leased Mini has a dent next to the right rear lights. The plunger trick won't work because it's not a flat panel, so I can't get any suction. So I'm considering three options:

  1. try to fix it at home with a kit like this
  2. bring it in to be fixed
  3. ignore it on the theory that I'll either pay to have it fixed now or when the lease is up (in a year) and paying later is better. This assumes it's not likely to get much worse.

I'm not being fruity and organic here....it has more solvent power than mineral spirits.

I bought a gallon to have around for nasty crap.
