Whole lotta reading recommendations in this thread. May as well throw my two cents in.

The First Law series by Joe Abercrombie. If you're into Guts' introspective-man-of-violence-looking-for-his-place-in-the-world-thing I'd think you find Logen Ninefingers to be an interesting character. If you're into audiobooks then I highly recommend checking out the audiobook versions. The guy reading them is practically a voice-actor.

The original trilogy:

We are also getting the "Flame Dragon Knight" novel on mai 21 in germany. This was a big suprise to me :)

Sorry it took so long to reply. In the Kabbalah the qlippoth are basically the dark side of the tree of life. The sephiroth where evil creatures dwell. In berserk Slan's domain is the Qlippoth.

Here is a better reference book:

When that part of Berserk was written a person would have to be heavily into the occult to even know the word Qlippoth.

Combined with the fact that the spells in Berserk are actual spells like the LBRP ( I mentioned in another comment)and other references such as the Moon Child ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moonchild_(novel) ). It's pretty safe to say that Miura knows about the occult.

Or....you could, like, pay for it, and support the people who make this stuff that we like...

I see. Regarding the german digital release (link), are there any previews available ? The previews on amazon are just scans of the paperback version. I can read german, so I may just go for that one if it's good.

I bought an official behelit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015K0W610/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_KhpPyb492A2FC and considering the price of other Berserk merchandise it wasn't that bad and shipped pretty fast.

I would buy this and this. Then i'd prolly start a kickstarter (because i think a "few millions" wouldn't be enough - define few) project to get a really good studio to make an accurate movie/OVA of The Black Swordsman arc, and another one of Lost Children. Redoing the full manga would definitely cost more than a "few millions"
