I already have these ready to go. I just need a day off from work to swap everything over. I was pleasantly surprised to find that that big aluminum piece that has the pegs is only 35 bucks

The OPT 7 kit on Amazon is bright, easy to install, comes with everything needed, two different remotes, multiple colors, and multiple patterns.

$30 for the flush mount turn signals from Hotbodies. You'll need to buy some additional metal washers from a hardware store ($2 should be more than enough).

The mirrors were $30 but currently out of stock at the Amazon store I bought them from. Do a search on eBay for, "Honda CBR 600RR / 1000RR Black OEM Style Racing Mirrors w/ Turn Signals" and lots of good similar mirrors come up. Just be mindful - majority of the ones on eBay have very small stalks.. You don't want that!! Look for one that has a stalk length similar to your OEM mirror.

So total price was ~$60 and under and hour to install everything.

I bought this one and it works pretty good. As far as it being wide enough you could use a folding chair as a step onto the tailgate, alot of people do. Or you could buy two of them.

I'm a warm water cephalopod swimming in cold waters, so I went for heated grips and am a very happy squid.

Yeah. One of my instructors lent me this book:

Sport Riding Techniques: How To Develop Real World Skills for Speed, Safety, and Confidence on the Street and Track, by Nick Ienatsch. The book answered a lot of questions that I'd had, and taught me things I wouldn't have thought about.

So yes, MSF is a start, but there's a ton of more information to learn, and other places to learn it from.

Pretty sure it was a RC drone. My brother just got a DJI Phantom 2 (http://www.amazon.com/DJI-Phantom-Quadcopter-Integrated-Camcorder/dp/B00FW78710), so I'm hoping to get some similar shots in the near future.

Ive had success with this spray but it comes off fairly easily.

My next project is to install a servo to a switch on the bars that just flips the plates up when going through them.

This one seems to match your bike pretty well.

It is ~$13USD, and it is a Schampa Warmskin.

Have gone through a few different from local outlet stores and finally settled with this one, very warm. Highly recommend for winter squidding

C'mon bro, a Wiha metric/inch hex set is like $40. Just do yourself a favor and trade your Chinesium tool in for some certified Kraut Space Magic.

I always recommend that if your going to carry just one piece of first aid it should be a TQ when you ride and in your car.

They're cheap, light, take up almost no space, easy to learn to use and no your belt is not even going to be close to as effective.

Bruh I know this thread is a week old but you 100% need a 3 foot long bendy straw.

lol.

Buy ramp ends and turn 2"x8"s into ramps. If you want wider, buy two sets and turn more 2"8"s into one ramp. Hold them together with ratchet straps when you're using them so you can take them apart for easier handling and storage.

EDIT: I guess the downvote is because this tried-and-true solution is not squidly enough?
