In my experience, we tend to not get huge amounts of snowfall like that very often; if we do, it's an anomaly, and things clear up on the roads pretty well. One thing to keep in mind is that, because Ohio does get snow during the winter to the tune of a couple of inches at a time, we're pretty well prepared to handle it. Roads are salted if it's known that snow/ice is coming, and plows are ready to go. As I said before, large snowstorms generally have everything non-emergency closed down until the roads get cleared.

I would highly recommend that you buy an ice scraper if you don't already own one. You'll get plenty of use out of it even on days it doesn't snow, and you'll regret not having one if you don't.

If you want an amazing quality, highly challenging puzzle buy this one. https://www.amazon.com/Disney-Stained-Jigsaw-Puzzle-DS-1000-764/dp/B005SL896I/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1474298306&sr=1-1&keywords=disney+puzzle

I'm a puzzler. I love puzzles. I love hard puzzles. This is my favorite puzzle I've worked on to date.

I remember them looking similar to that. There's a mini s'mores set that uses a similar concept. You just pop some canned fuel in there and you're good to go, I suppose.

OP, keep in mind that because the Kahiki's mini hibachi stuff was meant for kids, all the meat was pre-cooked on those wooden skewers before it was served. The part where you heated it up was just for fun. If you're doing this for kids, it's probably a good idea to grill everything first to make sure they're not going to accidentally consume raw chicken or beef.

Edit: Here are a couple of links that might help you recreate the experience. Here's an article on Tiki Pu-Pu platters, and here's what looks like a similar recipe for the beef skewers they used to serve.

Go read Why Evolution is True by Jerry Coyne. It's an excellent book that answers every single one of your objections, with plenty of citations that you can actually go look up for yourself.

edit: See also, the Nova special on the Dover Intelligent Design trial in which, more or less, proponents of creationism put up their best defense and are crushed.

1.Correct, I expect resistance from the people, bureaucracy, and our free press. Trump is illiberal and is actively reducing our national norms and institutions. The GOP is enabling it. So fuck Trump and the hot GOP garbage. The GOP bears 80% of the hot mess this nation is in.

2.I thought the GOP was supposed to be about "muh free trade" and now he enacts a Tariff? Can you imagine if Obama did this, what the GOP and Trump would say? The hypocrisy of the GOP and Trump is so clear a blind man can see it. America First? LOL! Why are we protecting Chinese Jobs?

3.Fair point on the ACA but the politics of the time dictated what could have gotten passed and Obama bent over backward (which is why the plan was modeled after an R plan which was modeled off of a R-leaning think tank proposal) to reach out to the Rs.

4.Sure, that's true. But again let's be clear. THE. GOP. OBSTRUCTED. HIM. ON. PURPOSE. This is different than "opposition". Opposition implies playing by the rules and norms. The GOP didn't and obstructed. Source: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AFE3ABQ/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1. Member when they held a USSC open for a whole year without giving at least a vote? His name is Merrick Garland.

Now, if you believe President Trump should be free fulfill his policies then you owe Obama the same courtesy or else you are a partisan hack. I do, I'm an R to D switcher. I expect the Ds to play by the rules and norms of our Constitution and national values and not shit all over like Trump and GOP have.

Some examples: Trump hasn't shown is taxes (a norm violation) and still hasn't formed a blind trust for his Businesses (he gave it his sons, hardly a blind trust) and countries are using his businesses to gain influence. Guess which party has enabled this? Member when Obama got on Twitter and specifically attacked private citizens?

Because when this hot mess is all over, the History Books will show the GOP and Trump on people who voted for him on the wrong side of history. Ya'll got conned by a grifter, brotato chip. But that's not for me to persuade you, you'll have to figure that one out on your own.

5.Sure that is a fair criticism but see point 4 above. And if you dislike Obama for that, then you need to also dislike Trump for the same reason or else you are a partisan hack.

6.Sure. You can vote and support Trump and also not be a racist. I mean the economy has not been fucked up yet ::golf clap:: (though it will and he'll do it) and there is something to be said about protecting the border (a wall is a dumb 12th century idea as ladders are things that exist, adding more agents when even the Border Agency doesn't want or know what to do with them is equally dumb, and waiving environmental protections which will only hurt fragile desert ecosytems) with smart 21st century solutions/technology like drones. And well, both parties in 2016 really failed the American people with their selection choices so you can vote for Trump and Support him b/c you disliked Hillary.

BUT LET'S ALSO BE CLEAR ON TWO POINTS

A.There is a wide body of emerging evidence that suggests many people voted for Trump because they are "culturally anxious". IE: A brown family moved in next door: https://www.prri.org/research/white-working-class-attitudes-economy-trade-immigration-election-donald-trump/

B.Racism isn't a binary choice. It is more of a spectrum so, you could vote for Obama and also hold racist ideas/actions. "I voted for Obama and therefore am not racist" is a fundamental misunderstanding of how racism actually works.

It was cheaper, but it's gone up in price. Night time quality is great, looks just like what you'd see out the window pretty much.

We don't have cable and have no plans to ever have it - TV just isn't something that's a big part of our lives or one we'd be willing to pay $50+ a month for.

With that said, we do have a digital converter box and a flat antennae (similar to this). They work perfectly together for random TV browsing. We get channels 4, 4-2, 6, 6-2, 10, 28, 28-2 34, 34-1, 34-2, 34-3 (PBS stations, mostly what we watch, with shows like 'Nature' and 'Are You Being Served?' reruns) and 53. It's a nice mix of things to choose from. 4-2 and 6-2 usually have movies on them and retro TV shows, while PBS has cooking shows, Masterpiece Theater and This Old House. 28-2 is a 24/7 music video channel that runs the full gamut of genres. So, when we do feel inclined to watch TV, there's never a matter of 'there's nothing on'. The flat antennae picks up all of the stations crystal-clear, sometimes 53 is a little glitchy, depending on traffic (we live right on High Street), but that can be fixed with some fidgeting.

Good luck!

And who has the lock on what constitutes the 'real stuff'?

Answer: Nobody.

You flat out don't know what you're talking about. Have you even had Ray Ray's? The sauce is provided on the side, and sweetness varies between the three flavors.

Now, this may strike you as unlikely, but hand to my heart, I took the author of this book to Ray Ray's, and asked him his opinion of it. His response: 8 on a scale of 1-10.

FWIW, he also visited Rt. 62 BBQ in Johnstown without me, and said he thought it was Ray Ray's equal.

As others have said, definitely rent guns at the range. Black Wing has a very large selection both in the rental cabinet and on the sales floor. Vance is great too. I don't shop at LEPD because they're expensive and selection isn't that great, but I use their range sometimes.

For practice, start with a .22 target pistol, like the Browning Buckmark or Ruger Mark III. They're cheap to buy, cheap to shoot, very accurate and are excellent for warming up before moving on to the bigger calibers. Training on .22 will also help you focus on sight alignment while minimizing the chances of developing a flinch.

The other reason to buy a target pistol is that many ranges won't let you rent a gun if you're alone and don't have your own gun. That's to prevent people from renting guns and committing suicide on the range. If you want to try out guns for home defense and you can't bring a friend to the range, having a target pistol will get you into the shooting booth.

EDIT: Also get a laser trainer. For the price of a range trip or two, you can practice inside your home as much as you want. I find it really helps me focus on sight alignment and trigger control. Dry fire practice is one of the most important things you can do to improve your accuracy, and having a laser has made me a much better shot in a very short time.

Im not sure if you mean like a one day event or like something more permanent to just have while working.

If it's like a side room or something to let people do something while working you could get like a popcorn machine https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000A7JLAS/ and/or a cotton candy machine and then supplies for 300. Then pick up some bean bags and some quick simple games like connect 4 or hungry hungry hippos. Then it's sort of a relaxed break room area. But like I said not sure what you're looking for.

If you're having trouble finding a person, two books may help you start the process: Do What You Are and What Color is Your Parachute. I know how frustrating it is to be "stuck" and then find a dream job. Unfortunately, I don't have much advice to share as I fell backwards into the profession by just taking every job opportunity that came my way that sounded remotely interesting. Best of luck to you!!!

Incase people aren't aware of it, I just wanted to link to some info about RetroPie:

Super easy to setup yourself. Plenty of websites around to get game ROMs from. I've got one with hundreds of NES, SNES, PS1 and Atari games. It's great.

How'd you hardwire it, into the rearview mirror? I thought about doing that but haven't gotten around to it.

I have the Black Box capacitor model just because it can withstand better heat supposedly. Had it for a year now and it's held up great.

I've been going to these for a few years now, mostly just to see the randomness and watch the spectacle. There are some occasional good deals both for flipping or keeping, but the vast majority is junk. I've seen some items sell on Ebay for $400-500 that sold for $20 because they were obscure enough that no one bothered to google. The previous auction someone spent $2,700 on four different camera lenses and immediately put them on Craigslist. One of the lenses was this, brand new in box, it sold for $700. https://www.amazon.com/Canon-70-200mm-2-8L-Telephoto-Cameras/dp/B0033PRWSW He most likely profited around $2,200-$3,000 in just a few days after posting on Craigslist.

The downside is you're going against the same flippers who buy out 80% of the auction. Jewelry and coins go to the same three guys. More expensive bikes go to the same three guys, etc. Then there's so much over paying it's hilarious. Enough that it makes you wonder if people are actually laundering money through the police. I watched someone pay $5,500 for ten older Iphones that retailed for $500 each brand new.

You don't actually get to see the content of the cardboard boxes when the actual bidding takes place either. So every auction there are people who will take a desired item and place them in a different cardboard box in the final moments before everyone is forced away from looking. For example, at the last auction they auctioned six boxes, in a choice bid, meaning the winner chooses whichever box he wants out of the six. The bid went for $120-180 because the winner wanted the box that had a new pair of Beats by Dre. As he goes to pay, someone else requests another choice bid out of the remaining five boxes, which he wins with a bid at like $40. The first guy after paying, grabs his box and finds that the Beats aren't inside. Instead, there was just the outer sleeve the Beats packaging came in. The person who requested the second bid? Miraculously, the Beats were inside the box he chose. No refunds either, so the first guy got screwed. I've witnessed this happen multiple times.

Remember that bridges freeze before roadways. Even if there's no ice on the road, there could be ice on a bridge.

If you start to slide, don't panic and don't over correct. It's easier said than done. If your back loses traction, continue to steer where you want to go.

As others have said, no sudden movements, braking, or accelerating. As much as possible, maintain a consistent speed.

When you're at an intersection or traffic light, be extra cautious when you have the right of way. Don't assume you can just go. Be on the lookout for drivers who were unable to stop and may slide through an intersection. If you are unable to stop at an intersection, honk your horn to alert other drivers ASAP.

Edit: Another thing... If you car is covered in ice or snow, make sure to completely clean off all windows (front, back, sides) before driving. This might seem like common sense, but when you're outside in the freezing cold, it's tempting to just quickly clean off a small patch on the driver side windshield. Also, remember to wipe snow off of headlights and tail lights so other drivers can see you.

Make sure the rental company has a scraper in the car. It will look something like this. Brush is for snow, scraper at the end is for ice on windows. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000HACYNY/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1482440713&sr=8-2&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=snow+brush+with+scraper&dpPl=1&dpID=31WMTMJfWQL&ref=plSrch

State law says you must have lights on if there's any precipitation, rain or snow.

We just bought a queen sized memory foam mattress from Costco. Instead of a box spring/frame combo, we got this
platform Both were super easy to set up and have been incredibly comfortable.
