Soccer is a British word that British people now hate because of petty hate of Americans.

The term "soccer" is a shortened version of "association football" that was used by rich British kids at prep schools who liked being trendy and using shortened versions of things. They also called Rugby Football "rugger"

Soccer especially gained popularity in places where there was already a local version of football, like the US and Australia.

When famous Europeans started playing in the US in like the 70s, Europeans found out the yanks called it soccer, they started not using the term as as much.

Using what is a probably decade old Microsoft Sidewinder. Still the best mouse I have ever played with. I bought a couple additional when I learned it was going to be discontinued. It's this model https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-HKA-00001-SideWinder-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B000TTQFIS.

You can still find it new on eBay for like $60 I bet.

I like my HD 600's, they are definitely comfy and the sound is amazing. Need a fairly beefy amp though.

This is one of the most recommended mice by budget reviewers. It should treat you just fine =)

/u/Masquerading_Altoid I did some research since I made that last comment, and found out that the Logitech G Pro uses the same PMW3366 sensor as the G502, but in a much lighter frame. I'd probably recommend this over the G502 now, unless you happen to prefer heavier mice or really need the extra side buttons =)

If you get another stick, it would have to be the exact same (pay attention to model#, especially with the MHz, timings and CL#). Usually 16GB is sufficient, so most people simply get 2x8GB sticks since it is relatively inexpensive and fulfills the dual channel requirements.

SSD-wise, I'd recommend something in the 200GB-250GB range, take a look and see if your motherboard has a M.2 slot, those are very easy to set up and you will just need to clone your OS to the SSD and set it up as your primary boot drive after.
This is a very solid M.2 SSD for the price:

Something like this. I'm guessing he uses it to slide his hand easier on his mousepad.

I use this cheap one off of amazon - https://www.amazon.com/Generic-Mouse-Bungee-Management-Holder/dp/B01ASXL0PW/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1519518395&sr=8-7&keywords=mouse+bungee

I had to tape it to my desk to keep it from moving but other than that it works great, I really prefer it to no bungee at all, makes a wired mouse feel slightly more like a wireless

I play both ps4 and PC, and tried the keyboard and mouse on ps4. It is not even CLOSE to the same thing as using your PC, but some people can get good at it. I don't consider it a problem since a) you don't know for sure if they are using one or not, they could literally just be much more skilled at a controller than you and b) I bet you aren't complaining when they are on your team and not the enemy.

All the consoles have stated they are working on comparability with mouse and keyboard in game. Sony even sells its own licensed hardware to use a mouse and keyboard. https://www.amazon.com/Tactical-Assault-Commander-Controller-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01JTOWU0K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497547613&sr=8-1&keywords=ps4+mouse+and+keyboard

For anyone who is interested in an overview of what neuroscience research tells us about gender differences I recommend Delusions of Gender by Cordelia Fine. https://www.amazon.com/Delusions-Gender-Society-Neurosexism-Difference/dp/0393340244

If you're having issues with ping and bandwidth from wireless, try powerline adapters. They run data through your wiring by slightly altering the frequency the electricity is going through. They're fast, fairly reliable (not perfect, but FAR better than wireless), and resolved all of my ping and bandwidth issues, allowing me to play several rooms away from the ethernet adapter without significant ping difference or internet speed issues.

Also helped my parents resolve the problem of poor wireless reception on the bottom floor of their house (their wireless router is on the third floor).

Both are wrong, how could you play with such a small mouse pad. Jokes aside I would recommend getting some golf sleeves for anyone that either swipes their whole arm or has a rough mouse pad. I own a razer/corsair control mouse pad and the surface is a little rough and I find that my arm rubs across it and sometimes messes up my aim. Also when its hot my arms could get sweaty and lead to some fuck ups. This helps a lot by making your arm glide across the surfaces like the mousepad or maybe your table. I only use one on my right arm so they are worth it when you get a pair for 10 bucks.

These two BenQ monitors would be the ones that I recommend. 144hz or 240hz. I haven't gotten to check any of the upcoming Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals yet though, so I'm not sure if they're going to be on sale.
