Try a fiio e10k or an Micca OriGen+ (inexpensive dac+baby amp combos). I'm running an "easy to drive" set of headphones as well (Phillips Fidelio X2, 30 ohm) but oh God it makes a difference. No hiss at higher volumes, better sound quality, better channel split as well. Not to mention an easy to reach hardware volume control and secondary optical input (olympus+) makes life easier on top of that.

Attach either underneath your desk with velcro and your life will change.

Ok I was curious and had to look this up. Judging by the listing this is supposed to work like a Swiffer and the listing doesn't explicitly say it's a vacuum. It also has no reviews on Amazon which is always questionable. Still ballsy though and I still admire the hustle lol.

As tempted as I am to say f@#$ Logitech forever for the atrocity that is this model, it looks like one of the top rated 2.1 models under $100 is still theirs: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003VAHYTG/ref=emc_b_5_t#customerReviews. It's not as nice looking as the HiVi/Swan M10 you linked but the specs look legit for the price point - solid range, high wattage, THX. I still love my Klipsches, but if I were in the market for a new set with a $100 price cap it'd probably be the Z623.

Milk? Milk does not provide all the things Soylent does. There's also the fact that a huge portion of the population is lactos intolerant to some degree and can't be replacing meals with milk.

Cost:

Ensure Powder: 14,000 calories is $68 - 0.485 cents per calorie.

Soylent Powder: 14,000 calories for $54 - 0.385 cents per calorie.

Jevity Powder: 0.48 cents per calorie

Soylent drink: 0.67 cents per calorie.

The cheapest Ensure drink, Vanilla: 0.54 cents per calorie.

Jevity drink doesn't state the calories contained so I can't give a cost estimate, and there's nothing about it on their website.

Jevity and Ensure are both produced by abbot nutrition along with, i'm gonna copy paste this.. : EAS® | EleCare® | Ensure® | Glucerna® | Hi-Cal | Jevity® | Metabolic | Nepro® | Osmolite® | Oxepa® | Pedialyte® | PediaSure® | Perative® | Pivot® 1.5 Cal | ProMod® | Promote® | Pulmocare® | Similac® | Suplena® | TwoCal® HN | Vital® | ZonePerfect®

I had no idea all that stuff was made by the same company.

I'm not discounting the problem at all. I completely agree.

Have you looked at the car Bluetooth adapters?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0769DXZTV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.L33AbA1WWYSD

I don't endorse that one specifically, but I've been using one for years in my car. Automatically connects when I get in, they're pretty excellent.

When I was in college, I ate so much cereal, the ones in the bags!

Right now I'm using Schmilk (chocolate). I do weight training so I add protein (double rich chocolate, but they have tons of flavors); really speeds up the healing process, no muscle pains the next day.

Benefit of Soylent was that you didn't need a blender, but it's recommended for Schmilk, so I got an immersion blender. Felt a bit bummed that I had to buy an appliance, but it's so much faster and better than shaking a half gallon of liquid!

I backed Soylent's Kickstarter, and it came with this pitcher. It's so awesome that I bought a second one, so I can have one in the fridge while I wash the other in the dishwasher. I fill 1/4 of the pitcher with milk, add 4 meals worth of Schmilk/protein, little more milk to cover the powders, and blend right in the pitcher. Add some more milk, blend again, and top off. It's ready to drink right then or chill overnight (my preference) -- done for two days!

The ready-to-go bottles of Soylent seems convenient, but it's a little less than what I'm drinking now (414ml vs 500ml), it won't save me any time if I want to add protein (adds a lot of flavor/variety for me), and costs a bit more.

You need to find one that supports 3 amp charging. I have one of these and it works great. Something like the TOPGREENER brand outlets might be better if you are charging tablets.

You asked a question, I answered it. That's why I care what people spend their money on: it affects my options in the future. Take Twizzler's Sourz for instance. They a were fantastic-- my favorite candy ever. But not enough people bought them, so they got cancelled. Alternatively, as someone who wears pants a lot, I need pockets. Imagine that men start buying pocketless pants (see also: women's pants). A few years down the line, they become the default. Now it is harder for me to find comfortable pants in my oddball size because other people want pants with less function. Other people's money spending literally determines what stuff I can purchase especially long term.

Beyond that, if you equate popularity with quality... You might want to get that looked at.

FYI It's Japanese, it's an Izumi Allure DR-RM35 and you can buy one here in a blue too.

Even with that, I still have no fucking clue what it says.

EDIT: Further Googling suggests that it is a "Negative Ion" hairdryer which has three modes:

  • QUICK Dry (90°C)
  • Hair Care (60°C)
  • Cool

So my guess is "Happy Time Ion - Hot Dry - Cool - Hair Care" (hyphens my emphasis)

EDIT 2: An English link, which doesn't really help. Claims it has a cryogenic mode ??

So when I discovered pb blaster, it was amazing. Stuff worked so much better than the other products I used. Then I got into the trades and a couple of the old timers swore by a product called Aero Kroil. I refuse to use anything else now. Literally works 20x better than pb blaster. Stuff is amazing. I have never had it fail to break anything loose.

Also they make Sili Kroil which adds a silicon type lubricant, which works 10,000 times better than WD40 for lubricating.

A sound bar.

MEGACRA Sound Bar Wired and Wireless Bluetooth Home Audio ( 40 Watts, 28-Inch, 4 Speakers, Movie Music News Audio Mode, Remote Control, Wall Mountable, 2017 Model ) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0722QQMC5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_IqBWzb28VK9HH

Then you’d love the way I market the software I write. Bragging makes me really uncomfortable so I’m like, “this is a new kind of word game. It’s pretty fun. You should download it because I think you’ll like it... at least for a little while.”

Years ago, these were common in front doors with mail slots:

https://www.amazon.com/Solid-Brass-Mail-Plates-Antique/dp/B005TVVJ1E

They pretty much stop someone from reaching in with their hand.

They were then upgraded to a chute:

The latest and greatest is a full on box:

https://www.amazon.com/DuraBox-Through-Door-Locking-D500/dp/B00YG96QB8

All could be retrofitted without replacing the door.

I have the first gen Magic Mouse and love it actually. Have had it for couple of years and it still works flawlessly. The previous, clit version, was one of the first with horizontal scrolling, and so was the first gen Magic Mouse.

Ironically, you can do this third party to first gen:
https://www.amazon.com/Mobee-Technology-Magic-Charger-Inductive/dp/B004GCPJDQ

(wireless charging)

while still being able to change out batteries if you need to. perfect.

You can get a pretty amazing detachable shower head for $25. This is the one I got on Amazon. It's totally worth spending $25 to up your shower experience and make sure you pressure wash your butthole. I like the occasional rimjob and I will reciprocate, but I want to make sure that butthole is clean. This gets the job done.

That reminded me of a book I read recently. The Dorito Effect., pretty interesting read, made me value certain types of food much more than before.

u/MustardCat · 84 pointsr/CrappyDesign

The material is supposed to go over the watch. These were originally made in black. Someone in marketing must have realized they weren't selling and pitched the idea of adding designs.

Here's what the original looked like: https://www.amazon.com/Magic-Hidden-Touch-Screen-Digital/dp/B00GH46750/

I got one of the black ones for free in a surprise box.

Weird.
