Skip the chintzy, cheap-ass, foam. Light weight, comfort, and easy to clean you want Birki's. They're $80-100 but will last you years. I work 50+ hour weeks and have had mine for 4 years, just replace the insoles as needed. To clean, take out the insoles and wash them.

So duct tape is $8.74 a roll and a cheap paint job can cost $700. Assuming this person's time is without value (because he spent time doing this in the first place) he can re-duct tape it 80 times before the duct tape costs more than paint. 80 x 3 months is 240 months or 20 years. 20 years seems pretty optimistic for a traditional paint job.

This gets the r/frugal_jerk seal of approval.

Strictly speaking you need a DPDT switch. You can get that from a four-way switch, but it won't have a center-off position for when you want it unpowered (i.e. most of the time).

Still, it doesn't cost that much to get something appropriate. The five-pack means you can re-wire all of the windows, to make them all awesome.

oatmeal baths are great for sensitive skin! I have eczema and have used these (alongside other things) since I was a little kid.

BUT, this is not the way I’d go about it. you can buy treatments with oatmeal that are meant to be used in the bath so you get the most out of it and minimise mess (Aveeno makes a really good one!!). straight oatmeal infusion is fine, but every dermatologist I’ve ever had has recommended sticking to real bath treatments.

I only have experience with concrete but this is a type of additive that might be suitable, also glass fibers will add strength or really anything that will help give it some structure and rigidity https://www.amazon.com/32-504-4-Inch-Nylon-Concrete-Fibers/dp/B000COCDCM/ref=pd_sim_469_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=2H3PGMH6CYWM50GJFTM3

Did low voltage work for about five years. These were the best for stripping wires once you got the hang of it. Plus great for actually cutting wires too.

You can get them at any Home Depot or Lowe's. This is what they look like). They are very easy to install, just make sure you've cut power to the outlet by turning off the respective breaker/fuse.

I got one of these to save space in my cupboards and it works really well for me. It would take less time to put all the packets in so it would be better than a card binder in that sense. My only complaint is that it can't fit a box full of tea bags in each drawer.

Because you can buy door closers for $20-30 bucks on Amazon? The ones that are replacements for screen doors work great on hollow-core inside doors and they're even cheaper.

I bought mine from a hardware store when I was a teenager and it was $15 then...

I too am a lover of pickle juice. And it's possible to buy just the juice! The Single servings are pretty solid, but there is also a Gallon Jug option.

I got hooked on it after using it as a poor kids solution for nighttime leg cramps from sports. I still prefer it to most real electrolyte solutions after exercise (I know it usually only has sodium salt, but the "balanced" salt supplements taste awful).

Buy a decorative incandescent bulb. They still sell them on like amazon, like this one. It takes the glare down significantly.

We have an Apeman M4. For a budget (and mini) projector it's damn impressive. Great for home use...we use it daily for movies & video games.

Are you from the Netherlands? Because they're $300USD.

Mocca master is indeed the brand, Technivorm is the company. They're considered the best automated [non-espresso] coffee maker in the world and command a premium elsewhere.

Even the cheapest camera DVR's will have an alarm for a disabled camera - although I admit this installation is not the best.

For water protection it is best to put these connectors inside something like this and then wrap the connections in self-amalgamating tape.

Meet your new best friends...

Of course, you might want to get the "White" variety...

u/Wishyouamerry · 17 pointsr/DiWHY

Hang it up with command strip refills. They work great, I use them to hang up tons of stuff!

u/Yuktobania · 1 pointr/DiWHY

That looks like absolute shit, like holy hell.

Couldn't even be arsed to align the damn things.

Like, for $20 you could accomplish exactly what he did, and retain your original outlets.
