I dont understand why you are avoiding LED. They are much brighter than stock halogens or any other LEDs that I have tried on my angel eyes and look fantastic.

These LED headlights very closely match a halogen filament source due to their design, so unlike other LED headlight bulbs, they aren't scattering light everywhere and blinding people if you have reflectors. It looks just like a halogen bulb, just brighter and whiter. I did have to code out the voltage check on the headlights so that they wouldn't flicker at start up, and clipping them on with the H7 retaining clips was a task easier done with the headlights removed, but other than that, I am very pleased. I bought this Bluetooth receiver. It turns on when it gets power which seems rare.

I use it along with this charger, which sits much nicer in the 12v socket, not as flush as they claim but it works well.

Along with a short USB cable and aux cable in your centre console, it works pretty well.

Unfortunately this item did NOT fit into my 2009 335i xDrive. I was able to easily pull the current stock button out and it was just a small 'faceplate' while this item is deeper and requires a different type of housing than what is in my vehicle. The quality, look, and feel of the start button is AMAZING. I am very bummed that this did not fit. I am considering ordering a different housing altogether because I loved the way this push start button looks.

I’ve had them for a few month now they are bright and look good, the only down side is they only seemed to really light up the inner halo and not the outermost. I was disappointed at first but it has grown on me and I enjoy it now it looks like a single set of eyes staring you down.

What phone do you have? It's not the exact solution you want, but with my old Samsung Note, I used this bluetooth adapter (with an additional 3.5mm extention attachment), and had it pretty much permanently plugged into both the AUX port and USB. Then I mounted this bluetooth controller next to my shifter.


With the Iphone X, it's as simple as plugging the lightning cable into the usb port and letting your car recognize it as an ipod

IIRC that’s not to connect any phone, but an apple device in iPod mode.

Shame they stopped making this model, but there are similar ones. I like the separate buttons for track selection.

There are other ways (from Grom and others) but they were cost prohibitive. And required coding the cd changer into the system.

There are a bunch of options for this on Amazon. The newer ones are probably better, if they support aptX (HD). One thing to watch out for is a lot of them have to be turned on every time using their power button. The one I linked comes on and connects when you start the car. It turns off when you stop the engine, even though it has an internal battery and will work if you manually turn it on again. So that's also annoying, but at least it comes on when you first start... I haven't found an "ideal" solution yet, but this gets the job done.

I recently started using a Tune2Air and a phone mount with wireless charging that automatically grabs your phone (this one). It’s a fantastic combo. My phone connects in seconds and from there it’s exactly the same as having an iPod plugged in. Steering wheel controls even work!
It’ll run you about $130 for the two, but it’s worth every penny.

Important Disclaimer: This stuff works really well, and is completely possible to use safely, but the active ingredient is hydrofluoric acid, which is a skin-absorbent poison if you fail to use proper precautions.

I've used this for about a decade on mine after some really bad water spots just wouldn't come off of my black paint. A local place that the BMW dealer used taught me how to use it.

Paint, windows, trim, etc. As long as you use it right - and safely, don't get this shit soaking into your skin - it works beautifully.

Wear some protective gloves, drop a quarter's worth of this onto an otherwise dry cloth, give it a few wax on/wax off motions, use another dry cloth and wipe it down. Repeat process until you've cleaned your car. If the car is really dirty, just rinse it off with water first so your not just soaking up grime immediately into the cloth. Other than that, no need for water, soap, buckets, etc.

It will also take a coat of wax off of your car pretty easily if you just put some pressure into the wiping. If you grab a good super-absorbent cloth, get it nice and wet (but not excessively ), then use some wet-application spray wax, you'll be able to quickly put a nice fresh coat back on.
