I just got this one in the mail in anticipation of eventually getting my Raptor 2 shipped to me. It's super lightweight and has pretty good ventilation. I definitely like the look of the downhill mountain bike helmets a lot more than something like the TSG Pass.

I fell at 30 mph with these gloves and it saved my palms. These are designed to absorb high impacts on the palms and I agree that they're not as great as wrist guards. But they do give you the freedom to move your wrist comfortably, compare to wrist guards where they really restrict you. Small things like being able to use your phone with wrist guards are sometimes difficult.

Overall, wrist guards are great if you go high speeds and the mechanix gloves are great on casual daily rides.

I haven't owned a bag to carry a board yet, but I don't like this design when I think about it. You have to unzip the bag and strap it every time, which would likely be a hassle with the battery/ESC covers in the way, especially if the bag already has things in it. The benefit to having it in the bag is that it keeps the weight closer to you, making it easier to carry.

I've seen other similar backpacks for much cheaper, ie. https://www.amazon.com/Skateboard-Backpack-Basketball-Multi-Function-Resistant/dp/B07797V5YY/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=skateboard+backpack&qid=1565288724&s=gateway&sr=8-4

Now, the one I posted is on the outside which means it's harsher carrying it, but it's easier to strap in. I also don't know how much weight it can carry. The benefit is that you won't have to worry what's in the bag when you strap it on though, since it's on the outside.

I got these ... not great but they do the trick and I like that you can pop them off super easily. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010Z9P4OC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

TeamGee looks like your best option from amazon. Link Besides TeamGee and Boosted, all the other boards are basically Chinese rebrands that probably aren’t worth buying.

u/joelk111 · 1 pointr/ElectricSkateboarding

I use these. Expensive, but I love how they look and they look to provide good protection.

u/Yomiel94 · 4 pointsr/ElectricSkateboarding

Wrist guards. If you write code for a living or just use a computer, they're very worthwhile (plus most falls will kill your palms without them). Not the set I own, but they look good

For padding I bought these:
Knees, elbows

Helmet looks like a good deal. Ideally, you also want decent shoes, long-pants, and a jacket to cover your arms, legs, and feet. This is what I wear when I'm really riding quickly, but for < 20 MPH, you can probably shed a bit of it.

A headlamp is the best option for seeing exactly what you're looking at. This headlamp is a beast and can easily be used as a regular flashlight too. The battery is rechargable with just a cable, no hub. Additionally, it has 3 regular modes, turbo mode and SOS mode just in case:

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B075ZN5LJY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I see you (foolishly) don't wear a helmet, but for others that are interested; the headlamp fits under my helmet no problem

I put this red light on the back of the board just so I look more like an actual vehicle. It also has a white mode so I'm thinking about getting a second one as a "headlight" I use the quotes because I'm not certain if it's actually bright enough to light my path:

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07253G165/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also grabbed these rechargable lights with a blink or solid color mode. They have a clip built in, but they also come with 2 different length canvas straps so you can attach them to an arm or backpack or just about anything:

I would love to see wheels/hubs like the rough stuff wheels on the slickrevolution boards. The center part works well on smooth paths and the rest works well on the slightly rougher terrain : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mbs-All-Terrain-Longboard-Wheels/dp/B074G95LP5/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_200_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=MTWWM6K644743MD9F4FS

The G forms I believe wouldn't slip because they have that slip resistant material on the inside it's like a rubbery band that goes around the top and bottom of the pads .

These are the ones I purchased and I do not recommend these because they did not stay on my arm when I crash I fell and I slid across the ground and the pad went sliding with the ground and then my Bearskin went sliding against the ground and these parents were nowhere to be found they were slid down past my elbow leaving my skin to get scraped up so I don't recommend them at all
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072B9K85Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_GvS7AbJGA76V3

I thought maybe it was because I order a large and when I redid my sizing measurement I realized that I'm a little bit closer to a medium so I ordered the medium just to try it and the medium or way too tight so I think that the large is okay but these pads don't stay on when you fall asleep because there is friction at it when you fall because the pads are Fabric and not hard plastic so they won't slide you really need something that's going to slide with the ground plastic will do or anything that has a hardcover.

I did order the knee pads from them too and so far I can say that the knee pads are working pretty well and I have had no problems with them even when I crashed I did hit my knees pretty bad on the ground but these pads actually did reduce some of the force so they did their job and I do recommend these knee pads and a cheap alternative and are really good in my opinion. Just don't get their elbow pads.

I bought a pair of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E7PWKMO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_EQqNpG6oNHGaV

They feel great on my feet with not fatigue on long rides and are super cushy. About to put them on and take a trip out to the bar.

Hi. I have this three wheels electric scooter for you. It is an innovation with different designs, different skateboard tires and different steering mechanisms. It's for a better riding. This Electronic Longboard is set 3 speed modes of 6 MPH, 11MPH and 15.5MPH. 250W high-power brushless motor with 6-inch non-slip all-terrain rubber tires and 36V/4800MAH removable lithium battery pack, can climb 15 degrees of slope and has a range of up to 11 miles once it is fully charged, aviation alloy body load capacity up to 220 lbs……

And I bet you will love the unique design.

If I were you I would pick this up as well https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016U4R6II/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 As of now i use just the wrist guards, as I wear a riding vest and jeans

the wrist guards are amazing though, they have saved my palms and my wrists so many times.

u/parkerg1016 · 1 pointr/ElectricSkateboarding

These wrist guards are the ones I use and you still have control of the remote. I do however wish the battery percentage was in the top left instead of right, because even without wrist guards it gets covered up with my hand, and to me I'd rather know my battery percent over what mode I'm in.

Looks like Potting Compound

If I wanted to protect it from the elements I'd get some CRC soft-seal spray or something instead maybe.. like this kind of thing: https://www.amazon.com/CRC-Urethane-Viscous-Coating-Temperature/dp/B000IC7ZQ2

u/sitsonfaces · 2 pointsr/ElectricSkateboarding

I got these and really enjoy them.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07BRXSCC7?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

They don't rattle, even when I'm going off-road on my ranger X1.

I've also seen many people who get kayak handles and like them.

u/larryt1026 · 3 pointsr/ElectricSkateboarding

I really want one of those myself because of the fox brand. However, there is a cheaper alternative on amazon. Demon United Podium Full Face Helmet black/Lrg https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079XR43BW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_jAccBbMGJX1SV

u/LazyInteraction · 1 pointr/ElectricSkateboarding

I bought one of these recently and like it. I like how it has red and white modes. $25 came with the light, mount and a cable.

I recently mounted it pointing backwards from the front truck and it makes the bottom of the board glow.

I-WONDER Skateboard Headlights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SK9G83X?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

u/spoonistoosmall · 1 pointr/ElectricSkateboarding

Hopefully SL will come through with a secure new clip design.

Failing that, I had to do it over again, I might have gone with something like this for board visibility: https://www.amazon.com/I-WONDER-Skateboard-Headlights-Taillights-Rechargeable/dp/B07SK9G83X/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=skateboard+light&qid=1569699658&s=sporting-goods&sr=1-9

Plus a red blinker on the back of the helmet and then a high powered headlamp for illuminating the road.

Let me know how the hot glue works. I might do the same if the new S clip upgrade doesn't work.

u/Fauxvoice · 1 pointr/ElectricSkateboarding

I linked this recently. The last picture is with the all terrain tires. I recommend getting it on Amazon over eBay so you can grab the warranty. He also lists a different drive gear kit, I'll link the other one. You could also mount it on a different deck. The one big drawback is the single motor.
