I got a 27” 240hz Monitor but it might not be for everyone. Most pros play on 24”. I would recommend something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1

24”, 144hz, 1ms response time, free sync & VA panel and less than $150 at the time of writing this.

Like others mentioned, it doesn’t necessarily matter. A lot of it is personal preference.

I would generally recommend a mechanical keyboard of some kind over a membrane- they tend to be a lot more accurate in their actuations. As far as specifics go, there’s a number of amazing options, including building your own...

That being said, my personal favorite keyboard, by far, is Havit Low Profile board- it’s not as customizable as a Cherry style switch, but it’s the most accurate, consistent, and easy to use keyboard I’ve ever touched. It’s also half the price of a Ducky or similar style board (which are excellent boards as well, at least most of them.) The actuation point is incredibly small, and I’ve never once had an issue with ghosting, no matter how quickly I’m pressing.

Monitor! I just got this one:

LG 27UK650-W 27" 4K UHD IPS Monitor with HDR10 and AMD FreeSync Technology (2018) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078GRM2MV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_EOkUamXnVpvhU

It’s already improved my game thanks to how fluid everything feels and looks. I had an old samsung monitor before this that was like a 20ms response time but never maintained a true 60Hz refresh rate. Now I find myself hitting great flicks and tracking is easier, too.

Hey Guys 1HP_Medic Here and I'm a physical therapist with 1-HP.ORG . We have treated and are treating fortnite pros that have many of the conditions listed here and OP is exactly right. This method of compensating for lack of turbo build can, in fact, lead to these problems. The good news is that these injuries can be prevented by increasing your "Heat meter" (endurance) of the muscles and tendons in your forearm and hand. Investing in something like a digiflex, theraweb, or even a stress ball can be great ways to improve your strength and endurance so you can prevent injury. But also here is a guide on exercises you can do with no equipment to help you keep spam building without injury.

Idk. I see one right below it on Amazon that’s 1ms and 165...

Honestly can’t tell you anything about sceptre monitors. I have a monoprice one that I got for $250 (actually got $50 back for something too) 27 inch 1440p 144 that’s awesome

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07KGMQGDT/ref=sspa_mb_hqp_detail_mobile_aax_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Only thing I’d ask is isn’t there supposed to be HDMI 3? These seem to have 2.0 only

Edit looks like that’s fake news and hdmi 2 is all the same thing. Should be good :)

This stuff is amazing. I suffer the same issue until a friend of mine shipped this to me. It works perfectly and I am about 30% through the first bottle and it’s been roughly 3-4 months of use. Shake well, play with very small beads on fingertips and a larger bead in palm and rub in. When your hands get sweaty/oily again just rinse with water and dray and it’s like you just put it on again. Usually I get 1-2 hours of extremely dry hands before I have to do the rinse. In a 7 hour grind I may apply it 2-3 times depending on what I’m doing and how sweaty I’m trying to get.

Edit: place small beads on fingertips*

I'm also a G502 user, I love it too much. I also just got this version, but right then started looking into how people lately prefer lighter mice. I figured it must actually make a difference since everybody has a finalmouse. I'd get a G-Wolves Hati if anything but I love the G502 too much.

At least I know it's not a lost case, as far as I know Mongraal plays with a brick too

They said they are partnering with razer for keyboard/mouse support and razer is going to make a special device to facilitate that. I'm really curious to see what it looks like! Maybe something like this?

u/aLedade · 1 pointr/FortniteCompetitive

Sure thing. I would look into getting a cheap larger mouse pad if you’re committed. This one is 12 bucks on amazonVicTsing Extended Gaming Mouse... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0794WBPHK?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf is the first one I got and it works great. I ended up getting the enormous one from glorious for my whole desk but tbh it’s completely overkill.

Employing your whole arm will make it much easier to make those minute flicks. Instead of trying to only move your mouse half centimeter you have 3 or more to work with.

No idea about other phones, but for more recent Android phones, you can use something like this (there are many variants on Amazon) to connect to a monitor.

The USB ports will allow you to directly plug in a mouse and keyboard and control the phone while it displays on a monitor.

I really want something like this to take off. As someone else already mentioned, Epic needs to follow the phone manufacturers guidelines so this res will not go away.

Get a big streamer doing this then you watch how fast we get a better FOV on non-mobile platforms.

Cooler Master MH-752 MH752 Gaming Headset with Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound, Plush Earcups, and Omni-Directional Boom Mic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JH4R6ZT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_pmEtDbKVWFYGM

Highly recommended. Closed back with great audio for footsteps. Detachable mic. Comfortable as hell.

Philips SHP9500 HiFi Precision Stereo Over-Ear Headphones (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ENMK1DW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5mEtDbG5RP38V

Great sound for the price. Open back without mic. Very comfortable as well.

Great tenkeyless keyboard with cherry red switches and great build quality.

u/blaked_baller · 2 pointsr/FortniteCompetitive

I use a 144hz. But for a 60hz, I just looked around for a little and found this one that looked pretty solid. I could only find 60hz monitors with 2ms response time but that is plenty. Not a bad price for the specs.

Other options is this dell but it's 23.8 inch, you probably won't notice a size difference but you'll save about $20
