I just got the International S7 Edge about a week ago.

1. Regarding the edges: sometimes you hit things on the side, but once you get used to the phone and learn how to hold it, it's a non-issue. I don't have a problem with one handed use, but I'm coming from the Note 3 which was larger. Maybe I just got used to dealing with larger phones?
   
   
2. Regarding reaching all areas of the screen: the display is the same size as the 6s Plus, but the phone is substantially smaller see here. You may be able to handle this, but it depends on the size of your hands.
   
   
3. Regarding emojis: That's an android thing, not just Samsung. Since I got the international version, I was able to install a Custom ROM that has the iOS 10 emojis so I see all of them. There are apps you can install to get the emojis as well, but you need to be rooted (jailbroken) to do it. I think you can only root the T-Mobile version if you get a carrier branded one. The international one is completely unlocked for you to tinker with and is faster and more battery efficient since it uses Samsung's own processor (Exynos).
   
   It's an amazing phone. The battery lasts SO long. I recently went on a trip to Memphis and didn't charge at all. My phone was off the charger for about a 1 day and 12 hours and I was at 12%. Very fast with no lag. Amazing camera. I'd definitely choose it over the S7 for the battery and screen improvements.
   
   BUY A CASE IMMEDIATELY. Don't get one of those BS basic clear ones either. Get one that gives your screen clearance when the phone is face down like the Urban Armor Gear case. Otherwise your screen will get cracked anyway.

Yea, they are very easy to find by touch. The volume buttons are separated and very easy to determine one from the other. Responsive is nice and clicky.

I LOVED this one! But the kickstand covers my Jeep and it's just a little too tight. But before my Toast it was my go too clear case. You may enjoy this one if you'd like a kick stand

To be honest, I bought the Spigen cases and did a product review on this LUVVITT case. I really, really like the LUVVITT.

It's a grippy TPU and adds minimal bulk to the sides while giving awesome corner protection. It's not as gaudy as the Amazon pictures make it out to be. It's my daily driver.

I also have 2 S7 Edge Spigen clear cases if you want to guy one off me I paid $4 for it.

Stick the magnet on the case not directly to the device, otherwise you won't be able to use wireless charge/nfc

The magnet is really strong, I recommend it to my friends & they're all happy, I use this setup for 2 years & I'm really happy with it.

I'm loving it so far, I don't think I'm going to use it as a cardholder. I got a vent mount for someone as a gift. I think I'm going to get one for me and put the metal plate in there. I tried it out and it works awesome.

The case looks good, the buttons don't stick out and it's already survived a hard fall on the hardwood floor. I think I'm going to keep it. Love this phone and want to keep it pristine as long as I can.

Stay away from the case with the kickstand. The kickstand is flimsy as hell and will probably be lost within a week. Only cheap feeling product I've ever gotten from spigen.

I am a huge Spigen fan, but I got the one you listed and I don't like it. It really looks rubbery and makes the phone look cheap. I truly love this Spigen case though. I bought a bunch of cases and now use it exclusively (I got the gold because my phone is gold)

I'm loving my Obliq slim meta case. Love the looks, doesn't add much bulk, and I like how the case makes the volume and power buttons easy to feel for. The back isn't super grippy so watch out for that.

Buy this one, which supports wireless fast charging, and is super convenient -- you'll never want to plug in a micro USB after this. You can also use the charger for it with a regular USB cable if needed and it will do fast charge with that too.

For my car I use this, which is also fast charge and is super-tiny, and it lets you charge a friend's phone too.

EDIT: Bonus items -- I travel a lot and for that I love using one similar to this little charger, which I always keep ready in my bag and can charge my whole family's devices with almost no space - even the AC prongs fold in.

And once you get really hooked on fast charging, you'll want a power bank (portable charger) that supports that too. I use this one which is pretty nice, but there are tons now in all shapes and sizes.

I've got the Neo Hybrid on my S7 Edge, and love it. Just enough protection around the edges, and has a nice grippy texture to the back. Adds very little in the way of thickness to the phone. I've got the gold version, and although the gold Neo Hyrbid is out of stock on Amazon right now, it is a very nice match to the phone itself. The gunmetal and silver versions are still in stock though.

That's the one I ordered. Just an FYI, most of the reviews are from the original version. When I ordered this, the company had shipped out both the original and the revised version to me. They also wrote to me to let me know that the original had fitment issues. With that said, they are only shipping revised versions which fits the S7 Edge perfectly.

I think the issue with cases is that - it really depends on which case you use. With the Spigen Tough Armor, I don't have any issues. However, I put my phone into the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, and the corners started coming up and pulling the sides off.

Artech 21 has a Vivid line that is a little looser and does not pull the corners up. YMMV.

Lastly - with these wet applications, you really need to let it cure for a few days before putting cases on. The first few times (with other manufacturers like Skinomi), I only waited overnight. As a result, the corners didn't stay down and so I had to reapply the spray. It was a pain in the butt. I've learned my lessons!

Very easy for me anyways. On Ebay or Amazon, you should buy a spare back glass, you can get them complete with the camera and flash glass pieces already installed. Some sellers will send a repair kit with it as well. I didn't have a heat gun so what I did is just hold the phone 8 inches or so over an open flame on your stovetop to loosen the sticker tape on the back cover on your phone, then use the suction cup to slowly pull it up while using a guitar pick to help get underneath. Plenty of YouTube videos. If your battery was going bad you may want to replace that at the same time. Save your money and do it yourself as these phones are worth less than $200 now. Looks like Spigen's s7 edge cases are finally back on amazon got it when it was 12-14$. But yeah I think this case is fantastic haven't had any problems with it.

This worked for me. Don't know that the phone will still be waterproof, but replaced the glass and it almost looks like it never broke

Searching on reddit led me to the Spigen Neo Hybrid. It fits well, buttons work perfectly and is protective (haven't dropped my phone yet tho but the case has a rubber part to it as well so I think it would absorb the impact pretty well). Plus I don't think it's super bulky which is a big factor for me.

Carved has wood cases for preorder. Very pretty. But it looks like Ballistic has wood ones that will be better for drop protection. I'm waiting for the Ballistic ones for a wood case. But I got the Spigen Neo Hybrid for the interim. Not bad for $18 Prime.

It's very slim and provides basic protection, which is enough for me (it has a small lip over the screen to protect it from drops). Spigen's cases have been working really well for me and haven't had a problem with them yet. However, if you want a little more protection, this could work as well:

Way more than I'd like, but the curved edges must be tricky in manufacturing. Don't know this company though - first saw the name at Best Buy but didn't investigate in the store.

I don't know if Samsung will fix it but I had this problem twice and got this replacement lens on Amazon for $7. Super easy to install, just search for a tutorial on YT. I remember reading something that said the lens shattering is a result of the waterproof seal creating too much pressure inside the phone but I could be wrong.

Beautiful, adds a 2-3mm bulk from each side, very durable and is protecting the phone securely (5 drops for 4 months, never even a minor scratch anywhere).

I use a magnetic mount like this. Owing to the metal build of the phone, it stays put without even using the included plates, even with a case on (same as yours).
So easy to set and remove when getting in and out of the car.

as for the case i went with the tough armor case in gold. For taking it in and out for VR it's not bad at all, i dont even take the hard plastic off to get the phone out.

Found this when i was case shopping and it works very well (i dont have the magnet secured to the case, just floating between the hard and soft parts of the case)

Just installed this yesterday. Even with the matte finish, you can hardly tell that it's on. Install was SUPER easy and it's 100% coverage. No problems putting my Spigen Tough Armor Case around it.
