Yes, very happy! I use mine daily. It's got a beautiful screen, battery life is great, charges fast, pretty awesome sound for a tablet, and I love writing on it. When I first got it I was debating between it and an ipad pro 10.5. I think I'd be happy with either, but I really am loving this tab.

Two accessories I'd pick up:

I'd definitely get a case for it since the glass back picks up smudges like none other. This is the one I use and it's great: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UP37UKK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Also if you plan to write or draw on it (my main use) then you should pick up one of these staedtler pencils: https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/mobile-accessories/tablets/staedtler--noris--digital-samsung-pencil-gp-u999eripaab/. The stock pen has a button on it that gets easily pushed on accident and is really annoying.

Enjoy it!

I have a S5e also, and totally agree it's slippery. I'm going to order the Spigen Tough Armor case, like I have on my S9+ going one 1 year. This is a great case. I dropped my phone a few times on the sidewalk, and parking lots. Not a single scratch, crack, or break. I think this S5e Spigen will do the same. I'm going to order the Armoursuit screen protector to. I've used their products on my S5, Note 5, S7, and S9+ and was never disappointed. I've gone a whole year or more without changing the screen protector if installed correctly. And there's a lifetime warranty.

I ordered this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NV7DXMX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So far it's really nice. I had to reregister my fingerprints, but after that it's been great with everything.

All you need is a Micro USB to HDMI converter and a regular HDMI cable. I also asked this question here if you want to take a look at more answers. Good luck!

I really appreciate you taking the time out to help me with all this. I just want to make sure this is the right one:

Samsung Electronics SM-T590NZKAXAR Galaxy Tab A, 10.5", Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FM86283/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_tlRzCbSJA39YS

You don't want to use the wireless charger you linked to because it's for iPhones, but this one should work OK. Being off center just means balancing it over the induction stand might be tricky. You can place something else under the edge that hangs over more to support the tablet.

That's my understanding from the rep. And the top image on this page http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/mobile-accessories/tablets/galaxy-tab-s3-9-7--keyboard-cover-ej-ft820useguj/?cid=us_pla_google-8875160598-cam=US_IMECOM_PLA_Buy_MobilePhones seems to bear that out.

That said, I couldn't find it in the specs, or a similar image on Amazon. You might try asking at the Samsung site. Like I said, I have a Bluetooth keyboard, so I didn't really look.

I will say, I'm already addicted to that stupid pen! Garge! I bought a tablet so I didn't have to write with a pen... now I want to! LoL

Oh and https://www.amazon.com/Fintie-Samsung-Tab-Case-Holder/dp/B06XYN812T/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1491972793&sr=1-2-spons&keywords=Galaxy+Tab+S3+S+Pen+Sleeve&psc=1 is way cheaper than a new S Pen ;-)

This is the one I went for and it works well for me.

I love all the Spigen stuff!

You're probably looking at the regular MX mouse. That's PC only.

The MX Anywhere is a travel mouse: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071VK5KXN

I have one and works great for me personally.

If you want less clutter and you want a keyboard/trackpad combo instead, I'd look at this. This is in my bag at all times: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MTVC775

Anker has a good selection and I highly recommend. Anker USB C Hub Adapter, 5-in-1 USB C Adapter, with 4K USB C to HDMI, SD and microSD Card Reader, 2 USB 3.0 Ports, for MacBook Pro 2019/2018/2017, Pixelbook, XPS, and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H4VQ4BZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_S.DLDb6JG443N

I use my tablets "upside down" in portrait mode almost exclusively—allows for charging while using w/o plug/cable getting in the way. I need a cover that's >>non-slip >>has '"notches" on both ends where it bends >>is very lightweight and thin, so I got this one https://www.amazon.com/Infiland-Samsung-Multiple-Compatible-SM-T720/dp/B07QY85PHN/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?keywords=Infiland+Samsung+Galaxy+Tab+S5e+10.5+Case,+Ultra+Slim+Tri-Fold+Sh&qid=1559078780&s=gateway&sr=8-1-fkmr1 and am very happy with it.

Literally any bluetooth mouse is fine or usb wire/less + USB C OTG wire (like this one). You can't charge the Tab while using a USB mouse unless you get another adapter so I'd probably recommend the bluetooth option unless you want to use it with more devices

Note 9, 42mm watch, tab s6 and buds. Get the buds man it really completes the set. Its discounted on Amazon right now. You can see an incoming call on your watch and answer on the buds without taking your phone out. James bond style lol

I use any of the 100W USB-C hubs from amazon. Check this one out, or any of the similar ones. I have an S10+ and the tab S6 and it works perfectly on both.

I also have one that is rated at 60w, and it works well, but doesnt pass enough power through to charge the phone or tablet while using. (This hub also works on my HP Spectre laptop, so it get a lot of use.

Anker USB C Hub Adapter, 7-in-1 USB C Adapter, with 4K USB C to HDMI, 100W Power Delivery, USB C Data Port, microSD/SD Card Reader, 2 USB 3.0 Ports, for MacBook Pro 2019/2018/2017, Chromebook, XPS https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HMLTCPL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_GW-IDbJB9D74W

I've heard from reviewers that this was a good one

Hey this mhl adapter should work just fine, just plug your hdmi cable from your TV into it and plug your phone USB adapter to it.....you may have to adjust your TV settings to show full screen...

I got this one: OMOTON [3 Pack] Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 / Tab S5e 10.5 inch - Tempered Glass/Scratch Resistant https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NV7DXMX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_taa_NBvMDbYW3VFTZ

I'm still waiting for it to completely dry because I did it with the shower on to get rid of potential dust, but so far so good. Basically covers the entire width of the Galaxy Tab which really surprised me. My Tab S4 one as far as I remember didn't.

Pretty sure it's another OMOTON screen protector though. I may try Spigen in the future.

u/mail4youtoo · 2 pointsr/GalaxyTab

This was asked before as well.

https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyTab/comments/3y6xsh/samsung_galaxy_tab_s2_hdmi_compatibility/

/u/jamesrick80 links this adapter HERE which he says works fine with his tablet.

It looks like a MHL 3.0 adapter might be needed according to this website http://blog.clove.co.uk/2014/02/05/mhl-adapter-samsung-galaxy-need/

It does not list the Tab S2 but it does list everything from last year as version 3.0

This concerns me though

3rd Generation (2013 / 2014) (MHL 2.0)
Samsung 3rd Generation MHL adapterThe 3rd Samsung MHL adapter for smartphones & tablets. Released in 2013 for the Samsung Galaxy S4, this adapter has an 11 pin layout. External power is no longer required for compatible MHL 2.0 devices, although it can be used to avoid excess battery drain.
External power is still required for compatible earlier Samsung phones that do not use MHL 2.0.

4th Generation (2015)
As of 2015, Samsung have stopped implementing MHL in their flagship Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

The Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge plus, Note 5, A3, A5, A7 and A8 do not have MHL capabilities.
In order to share your screen contents to a TV or other monitor, you will need to use a wireless connection.

This can be done through Miracast or with the Google Chromecast.
