DLCs are mostly multiplayer skins and weapons (which might be unlockeable through normal means, not sure), while there is more single player content, it's just one DLC. It's just one tomb and it takes about 2 minutes to solve.

Multiplayer isn't even that great, it just seems something they added because they were forced too. It's not terrible, and there can be joy if you play with a bunch a friends, but it's not well executed.

While Tomb Raider 2013 is honestly one of my favorite games from last gen, I wouldn't recommend the GOTY edition when the base game is cheaper. It's honestly the same experience with a $2 difference, and I don't think $2 is worth spending a bunch of useless DLCs for espescially when the steam sale is coming up.

The collector's edition for PS4 is currently under $40 (Dec 27 8:30 PM EST): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014HB2GEK/

It's a very good price if you like the figure, artbook and steelbook game case.

Here is a video of the unboxing of the collector's edition if anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkDnK6x4rNc

BUY THE STANDARD EDITION

Item | Base Game | Year 1 | Year 2 | Cost
----|---------|------|------|----
Complete Edition | ✔ | ✔ | ✔ | $70
Year 2 Gold Edition | ✔ | | ✔ | $56
Standard Edition | ✔ | | | $20 ($15 on Amazon)
Year 1 in game micro-transaction | | ✔ | | $20
Year 2 Season Pass | | | ✔ | $30
Standard Edition + Year 1 Bundle + Year 2 Season Pass | ✔ | ✔ | ✔ | $20 ($15) + $20 + $30 = $70 $65

The Year 2 Gold Edition costs more than buying the Season Pass Separately.

The Starter Edition is insanely grindy for only $5 less than the Standard Edition, I wouldn't even recommend it if it cost $5.

The Complete Edition costs the same as costs more than buying everything separately, so you might as well wait and buy the DLC later for cheaper or you may decide you don't need all of it (you can unlock it for free in game, it just takes a long time).

EDIT: STANDARD EDITION IS EVEN CHEAPER ON AMAZON ($15), meaning you can buy the game and all the DLC separately for $65
