Hi, nice initiative and thanks for your time. I'd like to know if I use the right products and if I'm doing everything properly.

Using this mapping for reference.

Always have acne around 5 & 9, mild acne at 1 & 2. During breakouts also between 4 - 6 and 10 - 8 and the acne at 1 & 2 gets a bit more noticeable. Acne nowhere else on my body. Acne in general is not that severe in my opinion. But that's just my opinion. :)

Male Indian generally dry/combined skin, have had Acne since the age of 16, currently 22. After the shower my skin screams for moisturizing, which is why I believe I have dry skin. I shower twice a day normal temperature, sometimes cold showers, and I avoid getting my face wet under the shower.

Diet: Eat pretty much anything. Generally healthy things tho, also go to the gym 5 days a week. Like every other Asian family: Rice + meat + veggies lol.

This is my skincare routine:

  1. Cleanse everyday twice.
  2. Exfoliate twice a week on seperate days, Wednesday and Friday.
  3. Mask once a week, Sunday
  4. Apply toner
  5. Apply moisturizing serum
  6. Apply Eye moisturizer
  7. Apply moisturizing creme
  8. Apply moisturizing oil
  9. Apply sunscreen
  10. Apply primer/foundation/concealer/powder.

  11. Use an ointment my general practitioner prescribed, it's called: "Differin Gel". I use this everyday before I go to sleep.

By the way if you know anything about make-up, which I assume you do. I have very dark under eye circles, any way to make it the same tone as my face skin color? It's the thing that annoys me the most, and the women in the make-up shop never take me seriously when I ask for advice lol.

Actually, what we determine as 'race' and 'gender' are ever changing. They are real, but the concepts of them change as our societies perpetually evolve.

As for the source on Mesopotamia: link . There's also a book you can look into in regards to Mesopotamia here.

And the fact that women are actually better communicators in regards to emotions is true. The way a man's brain is wired is different than a woman's: men are wired so signals go down each hemisphere laterally, while a woman's brain is wired so signals go between the hemispheres. Not to mention that most societies now a days teach women to be better listeners and caregivers, while men are taught to hold in their emotions, making them more emotionally harder to deal with as children.

I apologize if you don't believe me on this, but it is true. If you want more proof, I can contact my teachers and some people I know that major in history to give you some more sources and proof on this matter.

Anyone here who doesn't have pepper spray needs to pick one up.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0103O4GU2/ref=mp_s_a_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1518708137&sr=8-10&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Pepper+spray&dpPl=1&dpID=41Zl%2BnBmyKL&ref=plSrch

Theres a two pack. Give one to a friend.

Always test it once downwind first. Each cannister has about 20 shots.

If you ever have to use it never pussy foot it, otherwise you'll just escalate the situation and potentially freeze. Unload the thing on the attacker so that you're 100 percent sure it'll incapacitate

They're cheap, it's not like you're wasting gas or something.

There's that thing too. Those are good from close range.

It's good to get brightly colored ones so you can easily find it.

The pepper spray with the plastic shell is better because the grip makes it obvious which way it's pointing.

But again, always test them to make sure they aren't defective. There's always a chance that you have a dud that doesnt spray right.

Wow this thing is so cool.

So do you shower?

Jk~ if your back has sensitive skin I would recommend you to not use regular body wash as most contain sodium lauryl sulfate. This is an ingredient that is known to cause skin problems, but it is so disturbingly ubiquitous in body washes that people may never realize that its the culprit. Dove sensitive skin bar (unscented one) is a good replacement.

A gentle cleanser is one that is of 5-5.5pH, not scrubs, simple ingredient list, no fragrance to list a free. The Cerave Hydrating Cleanser is a good example along with the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Face Cleanser (gel, not foam formula).

If you are worried in scarring, invest in some vitamin C serums, and products and ingredients with "whitening effects" (niacinamide, arbutin, kojic acid, etc.). A lot of Asian products focus heavily on "whitening" - it doesn't mean to bleach the skin white, but to remove/prevent hyper pigmentation like acne scarring, sun spots, etc. For something close you home you can try this low cost but effective brand.

A basic skincare low-cost starter pack for you can look like this:

A.M.

  1. Cleanser

  2. Timeless Vitamin C serum (wait 20 mins)

  3. Moisturizer

  4. Sunscreen <-very important since you are using accutane which increases your skin's photosensitivity. The deadly lazer in the sky can and will fuck your skin up. American sunscreen is shit, European and Japanese one are way better. But if you don't have the patience then pick something from this list.

    P.M.

  5. Cleanser

  6. The Ordinary niacinamide serum

  7. Moisturizer

  8. Vaseline - skin and lips. Honestly, no $200+ moisturizer even comes close to beating vaseline in terms of transepidermal water loss prevention - ie. keeping the skin hydrated. I assume accutane is drying your skin and lips out huh? Not cosmetically elegant and you will probably have to change pillow case more often, but it gets the job done.

That's going to help tremendously. If you're interested in Buddhism in general and want a great teacher (albeit one who is obviously Asian so doesn't always understand or incorporate a Western perspective on some things, that's normal): Thich Nhat Hanh. His books are fairly short, on specific topics. One of them deals with this emotion:

Anger: Wisdom for Cooling the Flames (warning, obviously an Amazon link, this book is of course available in libraries)

I was self taught til I wasn’t. Just takes practice and time and I’m still learning even now. If you’re really wanting to dive deep into screenwriting, a great book to start with is The Screenwriter’s Bible. I reference it a lot when I’m trying to write because it’s got everything from the creative to the technical side covered.

Trust me. The first dozen or more scripts I wrote were so bad I’ve blocked them from my memory altogether haha.

Women are not a monolith. Are you attracted to the same qualities in people as everyone else? Nope. Are there women out there who go for those kind of guys. Yeah. Are there women out there who would be turned off by that kind of behavior? Yep. You seem to already know why you are using these ridiculous tactics, and it's not because you think they work. It's because you don't feel valuable enough to "deserve" attention and you need to pretend to be something you're not. I promise you there are people out there who will enjoy you for you. Aside from therapy, I recommend this. Best of luck.

"I mean good for them for being delusional if they're happy"

TFW you see someone almost get it, but not quite. Like a good shoot at soccer where the ball almost scratches the goalpost and the crowd goes "Yeeeeee... ahhhhh....."

Happiness isn't something that "comes upon you", it's something you make. It's a process, not a result. YOU create your happiness by managing your internal workings. Stoics, Buddhists and Gretchen Rubin are aware of that. So those "normies" seem to have mastered the art of happiness; maybe that's something to learn from them?

Edit: missing letters

This is 100% true! There's a great short story about it by Madeline Miller which I highly recommend. https://www.amazon.ca/Galatea-Kindle-Single-Madeline-Miller-ebook/dp/B00DY4SJKM

One of the better books on or related to the subject would probably be She Comes First: The Thinking Man's Guide to Pleasuring a Woman by Dr. Ian Kerner. It's a real eye-opener and both accessible and useful whether you're a complete novice or already a guru yourself.

There are logical arguments, but I don't have time or inclination to write them here. You might want to read some moral philosophy, or take a class. This is a pretty good overview.

I think his section on virtue ethics is a little weak, but that is my area.
