This is a small but significant thing....if you plan on doing what you say you are i would strongly recommend a cheap ssd like :

Total price : 15500 / 17374 . Trust me, you will thank me later for a very reasonable increase in your budget.

In my opinion 1440p 144hz is the sweet spot , It's easy to hit 144 fps while still being noticeably sharper than 1080p , the difference between 1440p and 4k isn't that big (I have a 1440p 144hz as my main monitor and a 4k LG panel to the side)

That being said, if you really like open world games, what WILL make a HUGE difference, even more so than a resolution bump is an ultrawide monitor, you can get ultrawide 1440p 120-144hz monitors , Asus has a 200hz one but its super expensive, EVEN shooters look stunning with an ultra wide

It looks like you're building a PC at around ampere's launch, I'm guessing you could pick up a 4k 144hz monitor for the best of both worlds, be prepared to spend a shit ton though

Your laptop has vents underside? If yes, get a cooling pad. If it doesn't work, you can always send one back. :)

>I was also looking for a laptop cooling pad but I see mixed reviews around this and I am not sure, if the pad will help cool the laptop. If you guys know any of pads that are super helpful. I am all ears.

https://www.amazon.in/Deepcool-Multicore-X6-Notebook-Cooler/dp/B00B3RZ298/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1541509786&sr=8-6&keywords=deepcool+cooling+pad

Cooling pad always help. If they didn't work, I would not have three in my home :)

The reason there are mixed reviews is because people have different laptops. Some laptops have internal problem and they buy cooling pad expecting it will solve the problem. Some just buy cheap pads that don't work very well. Some don't consider the vents.

If it's gaming build, then it's bit skewed, CPU is massively overkill for rtx 2070.

RAM, imo just buy 3200mhz one, unless you want to pay double the price for 1 fps more.

GPU - you can fit rtx 2080 super in budget, if you don't needlessly overspend on CPU and RAM and few other parts.

PSU - 850w is more than enough.

Case - if you want best airflow, H500P mesh or H500M.

Mx518 is heavier and model is very light. Mx518 has better shape for right handed people. It's available on amazon india https://www.amazon.in/Logitech-G-MX518-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07M6RVW79

If you building a gaming PC put as much money in your GPU as you can, you don't need 3600mhz CL14 or 3900x. 3700x, 3200mhz rtx 2080S will give you 15-20% better performance.

Why are you creating so many threads on one topic. Just reply in one thread. It's getting hard to help you out and reply to you.

Here's my post for the previous thread and now reply to this and don't create another one.. thanks -

Don't buy the i7 4770.. buy the i7 4790. It will work with your mobo. I currently have the 4790k with the H115i GTX cooler. The 4790 is a locked version and better than 4770. Suggest you get a cooler too. 2000rs cooler master or something like that. The 4790 is 1k cheaper than 4770 on Amazon. Although these old processors should be around 15k officially if it were available.

Where are you from? If closer to Mumbai then PrimeABGB they handle all RMA nonsense/hassle free.

Btw what monitor you getting since your buying the 1080. And which make etc for monitor and GPU?

I was just providing information for other people who might not know. Because the product you linked can possibly make someone fry their appliances, I thought it will be better to point out the problems. You were trying to be helpful, so it's really appreciated. I hope we are good now.

Here are two products that can work. I don't know for sure if these are good enough (so didn't post earlier). Also one(friends/relatives) might mistakenly plug-in the appliance without using these converters. So avoiding converters seems to be the ideal thing to do.

  1. Inverter needs switch time. It means your PC is already out of power.
  2. UPS is uninterrupted power, it's for save your work and exit asap.

You need to qualify your need and choose according to that.

Pure Sine wave UPS are damn expensive, if you can afford, get one. Please do share if any trusted manufacturer in India producing it for consumers

FYI, Corsair HX750 has Active PFC - No issue with UPS even if its' plugged to Square/Corrected Sine wave output

Corsair TX650 has Passive PFC (as per you)- Chances are 0.1% unless you tend to run on more time on UPS. It's save n exit asap mode.

Edit: VS series seems to have APFC - https://www.amazon.in/Corsair-CP-9020171-UK-550-Watt-Non-Modular-Supply/dp/B078XXNC3J

It costs around 6k

You can do everything from the GUI if you desire but there is a small bit of learning curve. Luckily there are hundreds of videos on youtube explaining how to set things up.

Yes you can do that. I have a bunch of static routes via WAN2. You can also set it up in such a way that certain protocols or ports always go via WAN2.

If you get it, make sure to upgrade your firmware first before setting up anything.

Just to let you know - I do not have the exact above model. I have the SFP model which costs a bit more. However the CPU and internal memory etc is all the same in both.

This is why I asking whether you'll be buying in US. Building with US prices is way different than building here in India. Here's what the prices would look like in INR:

Ryzen 2700X - 29,488

Cooler Master Masterliquid 240 - 6620

MSI X470 Gaming Plus - 13,384

Gskill Sniper X 3600MHz - 16,499 (This is effing cheap at Prime AGBG! I have no clue how.)

Samsung 860 Evo 250GB SSD - 6050 (Samsungs are just better)

WD 1TB 7200RPM - 2920

MSI 1080Ti Gaming X - 79,999 (As usual, ridiculous price at amazon. Out of stock elsewhere. Cheapest 1080Ti in India is FE which sells at nVidia's website for 57,000. Next cheapest is Zotac Mini for 65,000.)

Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Special Edition - 8770 (Black seems to be out of stock for now)

Cooler Master V650 Fully Modular PSU - 8000 (We don't get EVGA PSU's in India except at amazon for twice what they're worth.)

Microsoft Windows10 Home - 5769 (Finally amazon is useful! Gods wept!)

Dell S2716DG - 58,669 (Amazon useful again! What is happening?)

Cooler Master Devastator - 999 (I'm not sure if this is the right one?)

Total - Rs. 237,169 with MSI GPU. Cost would be Rs. 214,168 with Founder's Edition GPU. However cheap Nehru Place might be, I doubt it'd save you Rs. 50,000.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intel Build

i7 8700K - 27,490

Cooler Master Masterliquid 240 - 6620 (We don't get Dark Rock Pro 4 here).

MSI Z370 A-Pro - 10,199

Corsair LPX 3000MHz - 15,550 (G.skill Aegis unavailable)

Rest of the build same.

Total - Rs. 231,035 with MSI GPU. Rs. 208,036 with FE GPU. Again, way over your budget I think. You've got two options IMO: 1. increase your budget, or 2. state your final budget and we'll try help you out with a build from scratch.

85C is not alarming but on the high side.

  1. Immediate: Take a piece of paper to draw using pencil/pen your case (mention model) with fan and airflow config. Post that pic here so that we can analyse and suggest improvements

  2. Next: Buy this and re-paste your cooler: https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01FZP18OG

  3. Next: If temperatures do not improve get a third party cooler like the CM Hyper 212

Hey bro i found a really good monitor Dell S2716DG Almost everyone is in love with it and i think ill be comfortable in paying 60k for it. What do you think :)

u/NightriderDad · 1 pointr/IndianGaming

Oh... Thanks for pointing it out. And I was looking for 3 traditional display ports. :D Thanks again. I have just placed an order for processor, mobo and ram.

I have one more question about psu. I swear this is the last one.. hopefully.

There are 2 psu available on Amazon from Corsair. Corsair VS450 450-Watt @2600 rs and Corsair CX450 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply @3700 rs. The VS series has amazing ratings and it is 1100 rs cheaper on Amazon. Is there any huge difference between both of these in terms of performance and durability?

BTW I have noticed that many US gaming communities say that Corsair VS and Corsair CX is low quality and they tell people to avoid it but I have seen people here only go after Corsair. How is Antec VP550P Plus 550 Watt 80 Plus Non-Modular Gaming Power Supply compared to Corsair VS450 or Corsair CX450... in terms of performance, warranty and support.

u/dflamingo · 3 pointsr/IndianGaming

At the 1k Price point, all backlit keyboards are going to be more or less the same. Buy whichever one that has the best support/warranty. The RedGear one's are pretty decent and comes with an aluminium body as opposed to the plastic competition

Got this for my setup a few months ago. No complaints so far. Not really into monitoring temps or such but PC not crashing due to overheating is good, right?

u/vatsshiv · 1 pointr/IndianGaming

Get this if u can find it... the best cooling pad i ever had, talking from experience my msi laptop runs around 90°c or above but with this it runs at 60-75°c

Acer Nitro 23.8-inch VG240Y Black for Rs. 11k. Should I go for it?
Will be primarily used for playing RPG games and netflix.

Has anyone here tried buying anything over 50k with their SBI card?

I tried checking out with this: https://www.amazon.in/Acer-Predator-XB271HU-2560X1440-Monitor/dp/B0173PEX20/ and I'm only seeing a discount of 1301 being applied.

Cooling pads ain't worth it, use a simple riser and use on a hard surface and/or undervolt.
(Btw all of the cooling pads have little airflow)
