I am currently hiding my pregnancy at work and am not showing too much. I am not wearing typical maternity wear. I went to target and bought about 6 long hippie looking shirts, in the Knox Rose brand and two long vests. I have been wearing these layered over either high waisted Lulu Lemons with a leather or jean jacket, or cardigan buttoned at the neck. I also purchased these on Amazon so I can continue wearing my jeans. They fit my butt and thighs fine, but I feel uncomfortable with them buttoned. I have also purchased one black and one white belly band at target for like $15. I wear them over my jeans in case my top blows up. I also wear them under dresses because I notice my belly gets heavy and starts to ache if I don't have anything supporting it.

I have thick thighs, wide hips and big boobs. I have always relied on emphasizing my waist and was worried that I was going to look over weight without this option. I have to say, I actually feel surprisingly great about my new look. I feel like myself. I look like myself. I don't look like I'm trying to hide a pregnancy or frumpy or tenty.

I keep trying to post this as a separate post, but for some reason it won't show up when I do. So I'll just post it here instead:

So when going through lists of things for our hospital bag, I came across the suggestion of a Baby Book so you can get your baby's footprints right in the book at the hospital. That reminded me that I wanted to have some kind of book or scrapbook of at least my baby's first year, since I am terrible at documenting stuff like this! I've been looking around online at a few, but it can be really hard to decide.

Basically, I know I need to pick up a pre-made one that I'll just fill in the blanks. I am a terrible scrapbooker (I've tried in the past, it just doesn't come naturally to me), so I need as much guidance as I can get. I also don't like to write a ton, so I'd prefer one that is mainly focused on pictures and just little tidbits about milestones and stuff, rather than big pages to write a lot of text.

These are the ones I've found so far that I like: 1 2 3

What do you guys think? Are any of you planning on getting a Baby Book for your little one? Have you already bought one? And if you have, (or have looked through some others) how did you decide?

Also, as a side tip: I found this little journal for documenting your child's medical past (vaccinations, past illnesses, etc.) while I was looking at Baby Books on Amazon. I thought it was a really great idea to have all of that in one place, so I think I'm at least going to pick up that one :)

We have the Levana Ayden for my first child and have been very happy with it. A lot of the features I thought we'd use, we don't, but the thing I love the most about this monitor is the quality of the picture even at night. We use a Dohms sound machine and it recognizes the sound it makes as background noise.

We purchased an Angelcare sound-only monitor recently, but I haven't decided if we will use it or the video monitor with the new babies.

At 28 weeks, my dad and I took a last minute father-daughter trip to Texas, and our flights were slightly under 3 hours each way. Just make sure to bring a re-fillable water bottle (US, so no liquids over 6oz past security; just fill up your water bottle at one of the many foot joints post-security or at a water fountain) and grab a pair of compression socks off of Amazon (these are the ones I bought) to try and ward off the swelling. Also, be up and moving at least 1x/hour if not more if you can - we had turbulence so we weren't technically supposed to get out of our seats, but I just stood at my seat if the air attendants were up and about and walked in place.

Also - with some airlines you can get priority boarding if you are pregnant (aka sit towards the front of the plane if you're a nervous flyer/near the bathroom!) Check your carrier's website to see if they have guidance for pregnant flyers - Southwest was awesome for me!

I love these sleep bras! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DU6O3AO/

They run a tad small in the band though, so size up if you're on the fence, especially if you're in the F/G/H size range like me. My boobs have been so sensitive since I started taking progesterone supplements at 4 weeks, so I've had to sleep in them at night or else I wake myself up in pain from rolling over my own chest. The front clasp is really nice too.

This one.

We have a really wide window, so these worked well. They are pretty heavy, but are a nice, silky material.

We are a 20 minute drive from the hospital and husband will not leave my side, so I'd like to get everything in. I'm a notorious overpacker, too, but I'd rather have something I don't need than have not have something that I do need.
