I used a bit of dry graphite lube on the pivot points of my Leatherman when it was new.

Sorry, I should have said that I don't have the Leatherman attached to my keys. It just sits in my pocket. However, I do have an S-Biner for one set of my keys that I can quickly take off. It's metal and has a locking function. It is one of these small ones: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FIX12AG
I use a system similar to this , there's something similar (McGizmo?) made out of stainless if you don't like plastic.
I don't carry the Dime on my keys though, mine is just thrown into a pack somewhere.

Not the brightest torch in the world - but small with a lanyard loop and fits in the sheath.
I like TUF-GLIDE but have never used it on a Leatherman before. Any gun oil would also work.
Unfortunately, I literally just bought another one after making this album.
Its the Leather Z-Rex emergency tool. Figured it would be a good thing to keep in my car. The likelihood is that I'll never even use it (seatbelt cutter and glass smasher) however you can never be too prepared.
