I've been using my Anker 10 ft micro USB cables and they work just fine. I had to get a couple of these adapters for them. Havn't had any problems and seem to work well for fast charging.

I second what /u/J4nG says about the card. I've had issues on cards that I've connected to both my PC and phone. I think Windows messes them up until I reformat them on the phone.
FWIW, I've never had that issue with Google Play Music and this card.
Get a USB voltage/current meter and you'll know for sure. Here's a decent meter:

Sometimes the voltage is increased to get more energy into the phone without using as much current (heats wires and contacts).
Sometimes a bad cable can limit the amount of current that gets through to the phone.

The issue is that it is very slick making dropping it easy. Also repair costs for the shattered glass are high.

I also bought mine for the same price on Amazon about a week ago. This was the case I ended up buying for it.
The moto x4 is very picky about SD cards. There are only a few SD cards I would say that work reliably in these devices. I have been using this card in my Moto X4 and my wive's Lenovo Tab 4 8" plus which another picky MicroSD card device. They have both lasted over a year without issue.
