I haven't gotten one yet, but I was considering the G1W. They're on Ebay and "Amazon" (sold through Amazon, but it isn't sold by Amazon). That's around $53 as of right now. Kinda cheap compared to some of them which go up to as much as $200.

I'd definitely recommend researching them instead of just taking my word for it because I definitely don't have enough experience with these things, but that's the one I've seen many others suggest.

I pretty sure they are aluminum maybe billet but that is a stretch. I would use Eagle One Never Dull. That shit works on everything like a charm!

No jokes please. :)

I think these are probably soda stains from a time when I accidentally knocked the lid off a drink pulling it into the car.

Does anybody know how to clean them? So far I have tried a single product - "Turtle Wax Cleaner and Stain Remover" - but it has not helped at all.

Thanks for your help!

Dude, Meguiar's will help a lot. They make this stuff. It's amazing for black cars (had a black 04 'Vert before my silver GT.) I mean, it won't prevent finger prints, but carry that around with you and some microfiber towels, and clean it up in a wipe or two. It's fucking fantastic for getting rid of those god awful waterspots that inevitably show up after a wash. Also, if you've got a decent wax job on it, that stuff will do almost for your paint what tire wet does for tires in terms of gloss.

Best price EVER:

I have these on my 2006 v6 Legend Lime. They stay on very, very well and look amazing.

Something like this may do the trick- though I'm sure there's a cheaper alternative because you would only need a small container for the key fob. I'm at work, sorry, but yes if they had sophisticated enough equipment it's possible they could just drive off with your car.

Looks good man. Now what you need to do it get rid of the amber colored light bulbs in there. Silver coated bulbs get rid of the "egg yolk" look and clean up the headlights. I have the ones linked in my headlights and they work great!

it looks like the filter is the washable type, i've always used this kit on my k&n filters
http://www.amazon.com/99-5000-Aerosol-Recharger-Filter-Service/dp/B00029WYEY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407174122&sr=8-1&keywords=k%26n+recharge

pretty simple, but allow a good amount of time for the filter to dry after washing it.
basically, you spray the filter with some soap, let it soak in, then wash off in a sink, let dry, then spray some oil on it. you'll be amazed at the crap that comes out of the filter.

The brembo wheels are painted just like the car and can get scratched just like car paint. I use this on mine. Works great.

http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Detail-1001-SA-Brush/dp/B002LOP5IA/ref=pd_sbs_auto_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1NHC4K3WRGD9TC2S3XF8

Also, don't be afraid of the cutting stuff. The mirror glaze and light cut products are not going to damage your paint. your clear coat is much thicker and more durable than people think when it comes to these buffers.

awesome car OP.
May I recommend some rear wheel spacers for those stock wheels?

I was iffy about them when i bought the car but I love the more aggressive stance they give. mine came with 32mm(1.25") bolt on spacers and I don't plan on ever taking them off.

Yes, totally! ...assuming you have an iPhone, though maybe it works for a droid too.

I actually discovered that you could do this completely by accident after I bought a new charger for my iPhone.

Basically, you need one of these chargers.

After you plug your phone in, press the voice activated sync button, and say "USB." After that you can just open Spotify and it'll play through the cable. Not only can you use the steering wheel controls, you can also see the song info on your console. It's pretty nice.

One problem: It's obviously not meant to be used for Spotify, and always tries to default to playing music on the Music app, or your Podcast app since they're native to the phone. So sometimes you have to select "Play Music" on the menu, then let it start playing off the Music app, then just switch over to Spotify and start a song there.

Nah, it's just a normal hose attachment. It's the Gilmour Foamaster II gun. It seemed like it was the highest rated for ones under $50 so figured I'd give it a shot. It does great, it definitely puts a nice layer of foam on the car. I am using Chemical Guys Mr. Pink wash. The foam gun is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Y190WE/

I haven't done it yet but I'm going to install Hella headlights on my '67. I can't stand how the xenon bulbs look on a car. They don't look cool or mean, they look brand new and off the shelf. Hella will look stock but be much, much brighter. You also only have to change the filament when they burn out, instead of the entire glass bulb.

Here's a link to what you need. It's period correct tech as well, for what it's worth. Hella has been making bulbs since the '50s I believe. You'll also need individual bulbs (those are in the recommended items below). Alternatively, this site has the headlamp and bulb together, along with a rubber boot.

Dashcam is a BlackVue Wi-Fi DR500GW-HD 16GB (replaced the 16GB for a 32GB Micro SD Card).
Plays 1080p @ 30fps. If you watch a Youtube recording of this camera to check the quality, keep in mind most of the streaming uploads compresses the video so the quality will be higher than that.

Very nice camera. If you play the video in their program you can also see the Google map of your whole trip at the same time. You can also see it real time if you connect your phone with the WiFi's camera.

I used to have it in my 2012 Accord connected to the 12v power because it only activates when the ignition is On. So it records and it turns off when you turn your car off.

After an entire day with the dashcam on, I just discovered that Mustangs have the 12v power on all the time (??).
So I have to buy Blackvue Power Magic Pro to cut the power when the battery reaches 11.8v so it doesn't get discharged. You can also set a timer for parking mode so it records a certain amount of hours and turns off. It has a switch to cut the power when you turn off the car or you can let the camera with power so it records in parking mode.

You have to install some cables in the fuse box and attach the ground to the chassis. But it was done in 30-45 mins. Everything has instructions in English. Plus if you Google it there are a couple of videos to help you.

They do make kits, but they're pretty pricy. Hopefully you can get it done for quite a bit cheaper.

It has a lot of miles and while the color combo is neat, the majority of us don't care. After you cleaned it up it looks really nice!

FYI check this out for the seats. This kit should cover the fronts and leave some left overs for the back.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00GMPBRQ8/ref=ya_st_dp_summary It's from UPR products. Like $30 cheaper than the one on americanmuscle.com, and I installed it by myself in about an hour. Just gotta attach it temporarily with tape to mark the spots you need to drill, then bolt it on with the supplies provided. Might need a jack to get a drill under it though, especially if you're lowered. Good luck!

When I had a 2005, I bought some CAN bus aux input adapter and drilled a hole in the console so I could feed an audio cable through. It plugged into the back of the head unit. Something like this (sorry I can't seem to find any still sold):

http://www.amazon.com/PIE-FRD04-AUX-Adjustable-Auxiliary-Vehicles/dp/B000CK9S7O/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Worked pretty much like the OEM one in 2007 did, just not as clean of an install.
