250?! Okay then, this will be fun :)
Just remember though, that higher number in headphones series does not always mean better. eg DT880 > DT770 is not always true. Yours focus more on bass and treble, while the middle ground is left out, Also called V shaped headphone. While the 880's are neutral on most areas, while emphasizing mostly on the treble. Two completely different things, all comes down to taste :)

Over budget I know, but this is also where we reach a new level. You can look at the Z-Reviews of the AD series headphones. He's missing the 700x's, but has most others :)
All AD headphones are fantastic, they do get increasingly better up untill 900x. Where the 2000x, 1000x and 900x can come down to taste. I prefer the 1000's over the rest as they contain a bit of midbass, while the 2000's are super clear and analytical, where those who listen to classical music will absolutely orgasm over them.
I've specifically bought AD velour earpads over the standard leather pads on my own headphones, because of the amazing comfort.
*****
Often compared with Sennheiser HD600 [$400]. People have complained that the sound of the X2's has been bad, but it turns out the headphones are actually exposing poorly mastered/rendered music. It also has a massive soundstage, this is a winner for games where listening matters. You can see impressions over at Head-Fi, these are people who own multiple headphones in the $1000 zone, so don't be afraid of a mediocre rating.
30ohm, so even a phone can power them fine.
*****
Said to be among the most comfortable objects one can place on the head. Also a very good soundstage, not in the X2's category, but still good.

I know there is a boatload of things here to pick from, but promise me to research into these things and maybe find something else I haven't mentioned. Headphones or headsets for that matter are an investment and should last +5 years.
Happy listening! :)
There are lots of heroes not yet in the game that have not been added yet. Here is a list that someone posted in the subreddit a long time ago (before McCree, Genji, and Roadhog were revealed), and here are character portraits from the Recall short that haven't been heroes yet. Until then, there have also been some heavily speculated heroes.
-Sombra: Not much is known about her, but she's apparently an elite hacker likely aligned with Talon. The community is currently in an ARG with her, but it's been at a standstill for some time, thanks to a countdown timer on amomentincrime.com. Countdown is speculated to hit 100% on October 17th, so keep an eye out around that period.
-Doomfist: Ever since we saw his gauntlet in the initial cinematic short, people have speculated that we would eventually get Doomfist. Thanks to a silhouette of a character on the Doomfist exhibit poster in Numbani (with a name written in the Omnic language), people speculate that this individual will eventually join the roster as Doomfist.
Soundquake: Another hero people have been speculating on ever since an offhand mention in the initial cinematic trailer. It's speculated that they are this hero found in the Recall trailer, but for now, all we can do is speculate.
Athena: People have also speculated that Overwatch's AI, Athena, will eventually join the roster with a body of sorts (Think EDI from Mass Effect in a way). Again, nothing confirmed, but still nice to speculate on.
Liao: When an in-universe blog post spoke of the original founding of Overwatch, they mentioned the founders-Morrison, Reyes, Amari, Lindholm, Willhelm, and Liao. No one knows who Liao is or what's become of them, but we did get an interesting lead recently. Thanks to the recent announcement for the preorders of the graphic novel, First Strike, we now have a picture of an unknown individual with an omnic. It's not confirmed that this is Liao, but it's the only lead we have.
I don't know when we're getting a new hero (though I expect something to be announced at Blizzcon), but we already have a nice list of potential candidates.
So -- the biggest part of improving SIM time (generally correlates with FPS) on PC has to do with lowering video quality within Overwatch's graphics settings (aim for a consistent 300fps). You're basically trying to minimize the amount of data the graphics engine has to transform and output in order to minimize the time between mouse/keyboard input and the visual representation of that input on screen (otherwise known as simulation time, or SIM, and is measured in milliseconds). You won't necessarily see the difference unless you have a very keen eye, but you'll definitely feel it.

Now, unfortunately, you can't tweak video quality on console, so you don't have any options on the software side. And that's not so bad considering everyone you play against will also be bound by these restraints also. That actually makes competitive console play a bit more consistent, or at least reduces the number of variables affecting players' possible advantages/disadvantages in relation to one another.

Biggest thing with console is TV/monitor input lag, and you can't get any better than a 1ms monitor. And it sounds like your network and everything else is optimal too. So, the only thing I can think of is maybe purchasing these little joystick-extenders; I've heard they can be a big help in improving aim, so I'd definitely recommend doing some research and seeing if that might be something you want to try out.

Note to any other Overwatch players reading in the market for a new TV:
>Make sure you research input lag, and shoot for sub 15ms. I wasn't really as knowledgeable on the subject when I purchased my LED, and the lowest I can get it is 42ms; that makes a huge difference at higher levels of play, where you need every advantage you can get.
>You can't really compare casino/poker to a video game.
I strongly disagree. I'm not concerned about the real USD market value of any given skin, I'm worried about the behavior that it's conditioning people to embrace. This aspect is the exact same system that casinos use. Online poker might be a gray area, because you can probably argue there's skill involved but the mechanism of why gambling is addictive is the part that concerns me.
>One involves gambling for real world money that has value outside of just the casino, while Loot boxes only pertain to Overwatch and can't really be used for anything outside of that. Cosmetics, unlike real world money don't do anything for you either.
So, this is true, but I'll argue that this actually makes it worse in many ways. Now, I'll grant you that a system like overwatch's is basically free from corruption or exploitation from external factors(in the way that CS:GO's for instance is), but those protections at the cost of a more effective and invasive conditioning system, and it's primarily the conditioning system being implemented on minors that is my issue.
Now, I've seen people try to argue that cosmetics don't have value, but I can make so many arguments to show that's not true.
One of the most basic ones is the fact that there exists a currency within the game, to represent the value of a skin. A legendary is 1000 Overwatch dollars, while an epic is 250. This is a difference in value.
Next, the perceived value doesn't need to be able to be converted to real world USD. Given the choice between this T-shirt and the new Dva skin, which one do you think the average daily overwatch player would choose? The cosmetic skin can absolutely hold more value than something convertible to USD, and to suggest otherwise feels insincere.
>At the point of kids who try to obtain more money from their folks, that's up to their parents how they want to monitor/discipline their children. I.e. take away their games if they feel that it's leading to bad habits/behavior.
So, this isn't really practical. We're talking about 13+ kids here, and it's really unreasonable to expect parents to understand this level of what's going on in their teenagers games.
I'd bet though, if you had an actual psychiatrist or psychologist explain in detail the method of conditioning the loot box system used, and it's potential dangers and usual effects on patients, you'd see a lot of parents not letting their teenagers play it.
>Some people need to realize you can't always get what you want and in growing up you learn that you either work for it or you accept that some things are out of your limits until a time in which it is within your limits.
I agree, but that's not my issue at all. I'm not concerned that I personally don't get any given skin, I'm concerned that blizzard is using a ridiculously refined and effective conditioning system on a game marketed to minors.
You see all the people complaining right now? that's an expected response from this system. When you've lowered the reward rate to the subject enough, they become agitated and frustrated, and want the reward even more. All these people that probably piss you off and sound entitled are an expected part of this model, and they are the ones who are going to cave, buy loot boxes, and encourage use of this system.
Blizzard wants these people to exist, and knows they will exist. They designed their long term revenue source around it. I think people who try and defend blizzard here don't really realize this.
pretty much every pro uses equipment provided by their sponsors.
I actually have not used a Logitech mouse myself but just from what I heard quality should be fine.
If this is your first gaming mouse and you are not really sure what you want/need I always recommend a fairly cheap one just to test the water. I personally like Roccat but that's just me.
this one is super cheap but the quality should be top notch, has no side button though, which I find very useful.

Nice. I play tanks too. Old man reflexes can't keep up with all these hit-scan robots in the queue. Winston and Reinhardt mostly.

It's sci-fi. And a first novel, so YMMV, but I had a great time writing it. My sister is a nurse. I will share your book with her. =)

while google reverse image search finds the parody image.
I had this pre-ordered as a e-book on Amazon (it was free but you can pre-order free things). I got a notification it was cancelled, it was then replaced with a £16.99 hardcover version released on 20th of April https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1506703348.
So I just assumed they decided to make money from it instead and expand upon it. Hopefully it will be free when it's done!
I've been using a Logitech G430 for nearly 2 years now. Pretty cheat headset, nice sounding with virtual 7.1 and pretty decent microphone, and the build quality is pretty nice (I have a big head and so far it didn't broke unlike 2 tritton headsets for more than double the price).
The headset by default had a pretty shitty sound quality, but after you turn on the Dolby 7.1 in the headset's driver, the difference is like Heaven and Hell.
My friend uses a Steelseries Siberia v2 and he's pleased with his too, though his headset's stripe got ripped but still in use.
For gaming, You don't need to spend a lot for a headset. If you're an audiophile you might consider going for higher price perephials, but for hearing things and talking to others you'll find decent ones for 50-80 pounds.

Maybe you'd get it way cheaper in swap-meet, like those cell phone stands.
but yee, get some rectangular metal buttons on it, it should look just like the pouch.
Have fun, give us some pics maybe :)

I play at 30 fps with Medium settings and it's fine. I can kind of get 60 fps if I go to Low, but I can't take how it's not pretty anymore. 90+ does look buttery smooth on my husband's computer, but 30 is not awful. I do have a dedicated graphics card in my laptop, but it's several years old.
Now, you could try it out and see and make sure to not play it too much if you want to be able to refund it. The policy (which I unfortunately can't find an official article for) is something like: "Level 5 or 72 hours. If you reach level 5 or 72 hours has elapsed..." then you can't refund the game.
Vs. AI games give less XP and Custom Games don't give any, so you could test the game out that way.
I can only speak to what I've used, but I have the Logitech G430 headphones for my laptop and travel. They're very comfortable and lightweight, and have a very long cable. The Logitech G930s are the wireless version if you need that too. No complaints with them, but I do recommend using Overwatch's dolby atmos sound option instead of Logitech's 7.1 sound drivers.
I also use the AKG K240 headphones that are the lightest and most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. I sometimes forget that they're on sometimes! Great sound, but they are headphones only and you will need a separate microphone.
Okay so upgrading your gt730 to a newer card will give you a pretty big boost in performace. Here is gtx 1050 for $150 on amazon. That card I liked should be around 5x faster than your current card. However, if you can mannage to get some more money together I would recomond getting a GTX 1060 for around 120 dollars more, The 1060 is around 10x faster than your GT730.
That's a very good point actually. I haven't thought about the quality of the SD the card. What kind of SD card are you using for reference? Pretty sure this is what he has https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073JWXGNT/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Apparently not.
The PC GOTY edition is $30 bucks on Amazon.com right now to. So that's much easier to work with than Best Buy for most people.https://www.amazon.com/Overwatch-Game-Year-PC/dp/B0733HFSSK/Sale over on Amazon.
I usually recommend
www.amazon.com/dp/B00ENMK1DW + www.amazon.com/dp/B00BJ17WKK
Those headphones sound way better than their price tag, and the microphone attaches to them instead of their default cable. They are comfortable and durable (I dropped them plenty of times).
When it comes to microphone, there are reviews of that microphone you can find on youtube that include recordings of sound from it.
144hz isnt noticeable until you run the game at 144+ frames per second, so if you cant sit around that FPS, buying a fancy 144hz monitor might be a waste. However i have had this monitor for about a year and a half now and it works great, and like i said, if you can hit that 144 fps constant, you will see a difference in your aim. As for keyboards, really any will do, i have this one, and its lasted me a good 5 years and running. But when it comes to improving your movement, it will definitely make your key presses sharper, and will undoubtedly be an upgrade from lets say a wireless keyboard, but i dont know if it provides as big of an advantage as a 144hz monitor does compared to a 60hz monitor.
> headphones imo are basically mandatory at a high level of play because of this
And it can help you on all levels of play. especially if the headphones are 5.1/7.1. Hearing WHERE the sound is coming from and reacting to it will bring a lot of salt and hacking accusations (as you surely know). I can vouch for Logitech G430 as a decent 7.1 headset.
Hi, I did the same switch so welcome to PC and I hope you have a great time.
I strongly recommend the Logitech G502
paired with a Steelseries Qck+ Mousepad as it's versatile and accurate. I like the extra buttons, I have Shift and E on Mouse 4 and 5, Melee on Sniper button. Very comfortable mouse and highly customize-able.
For Keyboard I use a laptop equipped with Steelseries but If I had to buy one it'd be the SteelSeries 6Gv2 as it's similar to what I use and is very low profile.
I have been using the Logitech G430 for about 8 months now for PC gaming and love them.
Some other possible headsets:
How do the vortex handle movement? Good for that as well or more for aiming?

You could also look into getting something like a Logitech G13 or Razer Tartarus. They've got fully programmable buttons and a D-pad/Joystick. Might help out in your case.

You can program ALOT and some come with a thumb pad. There's prob ones for your right hand leaving your left for your space bar to jump.
So I did some googling. 1440p isn't 21:9, it's 16:9, and there are both 1440p 144hz monitors and 21:9 144hz monitors. So yes, it is possible.
It looks like the ASUS ROG SWIFT!
