I see! It depends what notetaking software you use.
iPad solution: I would suggest this stand with an apple pencil compatible iPad. This one is only $250 and is compatible with the apple pencil. However, think about how you're going to have to load the lectures onto the iPad.
You can probably manage it on the iPad, but you're going to need to access the lecture through your email/online student center which could get difficult on the ipad.
A 2-in-1 laptop is a more elegant solution. You can download the lecture from wherever it comes from, then switch the laptop into a tablet and place it on the stand. Check out this summary by wirecutter on the best 2-in-1 laptop solutions.
Hope that helps
This is a good book for ER procedures if you plan on working ER or urgent care if you can get a used copy for cheap. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0721604471/ You can usually find decent videos of various procedures on youtube also. This is a channel with a lot of EM procedures: https://www.youtube.com/user/lmellick . www.lacerationrepair.com has some good information about suturing and wound repair. You'll probably need to know how to use the slit lamp, here's a good video on that: https://youtu.be/w9wMJ6job_ Good luck.
I suggest anyone looking to do well in gross anatomy for PA students invest in this book. The questions are a little bit harder than what we were tested on but if you can handle these, you'll do fine in the written exams.
For practical scores, you just need to live in that lab and really get to know every cadaver on those tables. Have your classmates teach you about their body in regards to what are the best structures they were able to dissect out.
If you love youtube definitely check out Armando Hasudungan

Personally I lived by Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy
https://www.amazon.com/Atlas-Human-Anatomy-Professional-NetterReference-com/dp/1455758884/ref=la_B000AQ4WBC_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1523296631&sr=1-1
https://www.amazon.com/Learning-Radiology-Recognizing-Basics-3e/dp/0323328075/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1510081056&sr=8-1&keywords=radiology+books
and this if you like the style of Dubin's EKG book for chest x-rays:
https://www.amazon.com/Felsons-Principles-Roentgenology-Programmed-Goodman/dp/1455774839/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1510081108&sr=1-2&keywords=chest+roentgenology#reader_1455774839
this i found helpful, only 25 bucks too
Physical Examination of the Spine and extremities by Stanley Hoppenfeld was helpful not only during my ortho rotation but in my ER and family med rotations.
Edit: link
At Yale, every student gets a $500 otoscope/ophthalmoscope set, paid for by the program.
Dunno yet.
For Gen Surg:
Pestrana's Surgery Notes
Surgical Recall (good for pimping)
ER:
Tintinallis (the manual NOT the big fat EM resident book)
This is the book my program requires https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/007179476X/ref=dp_ob_neva_mobile
Along with recommending the ACLS handbook
Also has a cheaper black and white version.

That’s the one you want. The publisher has said that there has been an issue with fake copies on amazon and asks that you buy directly from him. A quick search of the ISBN and you’ll find it. I haven’t purchased it yet but there is going to be an amendment to it for the new blue print.
