That case looks great! Looks like a nice solution to have everything contained in 1 spot. I like to make my PSVR mobile, so I can share it as much as possible. I came up with a different but more expensive solution.

Have you ever heard of the Gaems cases? They are cases with a built in 15.5 -19'' screen that you can carry your console and controllers in. They make your PSVR completely mobile and ready to play anywhere.

There are two main versions of the case. The sentry has a 15.5'' screen and gets the job done well. It goes on sale often at Amazon for $179 while the regular price is $199.

The vanguard is more robust and has a 19 inch screen but rarely gets discounted. $349 is a big step up in price and it's main reason for existing was to fit an Xbox one comfortably. Here is everything I use in my set up if you're interested.

Gaems vanguard: 19 inch screen version

Gaems sentry: 15.5 Inch screen:

Psvr travel case: there are cheaper alternatives but I have this one and it's great.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01LB4KJ90/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485747548&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=psvr+case&dpPl=1&dpID=41iSXH1b7QL&ref=plSrch

AC 2 to 1 tail plug: this is great because in some rooms you might not have room to plug everything into a single outlet. This gives you 2 outlets with 1 plug. The psvr, ps4, and screen all need to be plugged in so this makes it a bit easier to accomplish.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000QZ6KBC/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485747673&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=ac+2+to+1&dpPl=1&dpID=512TfCxLsfL&ref=plSrch

Extra ac power cord for the ps4: not needed but one less thing to route and hook up at home.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0017UCTX8/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1485747983&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=polarized+ac+power+cord&dpPl=1&dpID=41243qPxqsL&ref=plSrch

Extra ps4 camera: again not needed but helpful to leave one in the psvr carrying case. They go on sale often at Amazon for $39.99

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01LW1OM63/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485748117&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=ps4+camera

Gaems PGE battle bag: not needed at all but I love this thing. Designed to fit all the cases and keeps them from getting dinged up. Also has a Very large pouch on the side for more storage. The AIM controller actually fits nicely here.

https://gaemspge.com/store/pge-battle-bag.html

Also worth picking up would be some kind of car visor or slim cd traveling case to hold 24 or so of your favorite games. You can place it under neath the straps that secure the console just fine.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000CAO7XO/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1485753365&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=cd+visor&dpPl=1&dpID=41MAD8WSA1L&ref=plSrch

Lastly, some form of luggage locks. I've never had a problem with the case popping open, but I've also never risked it. I have these combo locks and they work great.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01J3U7PDC/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This has really made the vr much easier to lug around for me and awesome way to share it with people.

It's not like PSVR isn't already giving me a hard time with drift, shift/swimming since launch, but yesterday the "being sick of it" feeling reached a new high. You all know the story about dust and risking scratches, but well...

Yesterday after cleaning my lenses with these 2 tools

https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00017LSPI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00IPKRY56/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought specifically for the PSVR thinking I do the best for it, I had to realize that the space between the lenses and the case seems easily to be big enough to have dust blown BEHIND the lenses.

That lenspen has carbon particles which should help to clean the lenses better, though after cleaning a few of such carbon particles end up on the lenses which I obviously want to get rid of afterwards, so I've blown them away as usual with the blower just to realize that dust and/or those carbon particles somehow ended up on the other side of the lenses, one also sitting now on the screen as you can see on the picture taken from the right lense.

So, while I would have thought that the actual Lenspen from the so called company should be the better one, I'm certainly going to only use that one going forward

https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00NVDJ88S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

since its not leaving any particles on the lenses, even though it doesn't get rid of grease spots as easy as the other one.

And for you guys, whatever you use to clean your lenses, be very careful of how you get rid of that dust and especially if you also use a lenspen that regularly leaves a rest of carbon particles or such on them, be not just warned related to scratches! Dust behind the lenses is kind of game over as well!

I ordered this one. I will admit my first impression when I got it was it seemed like semi-cheap Chinese materials for what is a pretty high price. However, I do really like it now. It does fit everything, including a few extras and game discs, very nicely. It is just firm enough to feel protective, and it makes carting everything needed for the VR setup easy. They elastic that holds the PS4 seems a little weak (especially for the heavy pro, but once closed, it's great. This is not a hard bag you could say check at the airport, but it is very useful and convenient to pack up the PS4 and PSVR in the car to take to friends and family. In the end, I'm satisfied with it, and haven't seen any other case that holds BOTH the PS4 and PSVR yet that I would consider better (granted, I haven't done exhaustive searches):

As an aside, as I was searching my orders to find that link above, I noticed this one too, which wasn't available when I got mine. Doesn't look bad and it's 10 cheaper: https://www.amazon.com/Travel-PlayStation-Launch-Console-Hermitshell-4/dp/B01MRWTHEY

Ok cool :) Will take a look and find my Lenspen. They are essential!

Ok found it:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lenspen-Elite-Cleaning-Pen-Lens/dp/B00IPKRY56/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1481378888&sr=8-2&keywords=lenspen

Absolutely essential. They're f'ing amazing.

Ok you're sorted!!! :)

Just a tip for the Lenspen:

Use the brush first. Then the pad until the lenses are super clean. Then use the brush again because the Lenspen can leave a residue when you first start using it.

I used the Pyle Compact Base Black Microphone Stand:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PAW6AU/

I'm not the first to do this and I've seen others do similar projects but all the stands were discontinued and I couldn't find one that would fit through the holes in the camera stand. Luckily, it didn't matter as this should work for all stands that you can unscrew the top off of. I also wanted one with as low of a profile as possible so I could put it on the same shelf as the soundbar. It...barely fits as the base is closer to 9.75 inches as opposed to the 9.25 advertised. It has nice rubber bumps you attach at the bottom to prevent scratches.

I have my camera off center because that's the couch's center and, unlike PS3 move games, it doesn't matter where the camera is really. I played Sparc and Astrobot at the high height. Sparc was fantastic. Astrobot was different in the challenge mode with the ropes (#4) as everything was angled differently. Lowering it back to standard height is all that's needed to fix that. If there's any other questions, feel free to ask.

Also, if you're doing this, be mindful of you camera cable length. If I were to go much higher, I'd have to move my PS4 up to be able to have enough length.

u/Rockevoy · 3 pointsr/PSVR

I use a cheap mic stand I got off Amazon UK for <£10.

Here's how I set it up, and here's a closeup of how the camera's attached.

The pictures don't quite show it, but I tend to keep the stand at maximum height, which is actually just under 6ft. It's worked great for every game I have so far, and I'm 5'7" - so the camera is ever-so-slightly above eye level for me. One benefit of the mic stand is I can collapse it out of the way behind the TV when not using it (though admittedly I don't do that very often).

Others here have used successfully used telescopic selfie sticks as camera mounts, and attached them to the backs of their TVs - which is also a pretty cool idea!

u/GrumpyAdultman · 1 pointr/PSVR

You'll hate this idea, but I recommend a microphone stand like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PAW6AU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You just use some cable ties to attach it to that. Then you can place the camera anywhere in the room, at any height you need. Some games are better with the camera up high and far, some are better low and close. This will let you always have the perfect placement.

Combine that with the extension cable for the PS Camera. This way, you can unplug the camera cable from the extension piece and put the stand/camera away somewhere when you're not using it. If I'm playing a lot of VR, I just put the stand/camera off to the side of my TV.

u/gadget_dude · 1 pointr/PSVR

One thing to consider is finding a pair that have an input jack instead of a fixed cable so that way you can use a short patch cable and not end up with yet another cord dangling around.

I switched to a pair of on-ear Phillips BT noise cancelling headphones I had laying around because they had an input jack and used this patch cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01K3WY7HG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTneF8&psc=1

They happen to sound great and very comfortable during long sessions but I'm not recommending them specifically because they are discontinued and I'm sure there are better options that also have an input jack.

Another consideration is on-ear vs over ear, I found that some of my larger over ear headphones are nice for isolation but don't fit as well with the headset compared to on-ear.

Anything is better than buds :)

u/cozalt · 2 pointsr/PSVR

Congrats on joining the community!

I'm no expert by any means and will just be providing my personal opinion/experience, but to answer your questions:

Question 1: Keep the headset out of direct sunlight, especially the inner lens. Some use the box to keep it stored, I purchased this which works great. Clean the lens with glasses cleaning cloth or lens pen cleaner, such as this.

Question 2: I wear glasses as well. I noticed after months of use a tiny scratch on the lens but it doesn't affect my gameplay at all. There are solutions out there I'm sure, but I have not invested into any. PSVR is considered safe to use with glasses.

Question 3: I don't know the worst game, but I can give you a small list of the ones I've played and would say are worth getting in no particular order:

Batman,
Battlezone,
Eve:Valkyrie,
Resident Evil,
Farpoint (/w Aim Controller),
Playstation VR Worlds,
Robinson: The Journey,
Dirt Rally (/w Steering Wheel),
StarWars Battlefront (for X-wing mission - I found it cheap for $10),
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood

It's not hard to find amazing upcoming game, as this sub posts them often. Just to name a few I'm stoked for:

Skyrim VR,
Ace Combat 7,
Doom VR

Hopefully this helps you - goodluck!

Edit: I missed your last question. I linked already to the VR stand. Get a pair of Move controllers and Aim Controller.

u/Papashuffler · 4 pointsr/PSVR

I totally agree. People blew that way out of proportion. Sure, i wish there was a lot more, but it's not as bad as some people let on. Nobody should be unplugging cables though. If you get an HDMI switch and short hdmi 2.0 cables(3 feet) you can play VR or hdr with the push of two buttons. The most important thing is to make sure the cables are short otherwise blackouts occur. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WP755QH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_1JUeAbMGP5JP8

They said they are going to release the soundtrack on spotify, etc, soon, but didn't give an ETA. I enjoy rhythm games even when I don't like all the music. The type of music here works great for this game.

EDIT: actually it's already out. Here it is on Amazon Music Unlimited: https://music.amazon.com/albums/B07C5D876W

u/CruftForce7 · 1 pointr/PSVR

I've tried a bunch of different headphones, but the ones I end up using the most often are Koss KSC75's. They only cost about $15 on Amazon, and the sound quality is amazing for the price--seriously, these things are a huge step up from the stock earbuds, and sound better than any headphones I've heard that cost less than $80. They are open air, though, which isn't great for immersion if you're playing in a room where there's a lot of background noise.

When I want to shut out external noise, I use Etymotic hf3's (about $120), which are in-ear monitors. Over-the-ear headphones feel weird to me when using the PSVR, mainly because of the additional bulk.

u/MiniSpoogie · 2 pointsr/PSVR

If you have amazon prime . You can download the whole cd of the original track list also on the amazon music app for free. It’s a good list!

Edit: Check out "Beat Saber (Original Game Soundtrack)" by Jaroslav Beck on Amazon Music. https://music.amazon.com/albums/B07C5D876W?ref=dm_sh_5iMRhKKxzg3VowtNI8nWWQFAq

u/pocketmnky · 1 pointr/PSVR

I use a boom mic head on my straight mic stand so I can move the camera closer and further from me as needed. I can get that thing to stretch to well over 8' tall if I need to and I love the fact that I can move it from one side of the room to the other. It's great for racing wheel setups because you can bring it low and push the camera in right in front of your face if you want.

Also, I use zip ties.

u/Ular01 · 2 pointsr/PSVR

I bought this case over the summer and it works great. Only thing it would not fit was the aim controller. Everything else fit nicely.

u/Dixonian89 · 3 pointsr/PSVR

Disc copy is only $40 on Amazon.

Here you go: https://www.amazon.com/Skyrim-VR-PlayStation-4/dp/B071WPKZ8F/

If you only want digital, it's up to you. I personally think full price was worth it. Digital has been on sale at least twice, maybe three times, in the last 3 months so your odds of another sale soon seems pretty good.

u/tjj5022 · 1 pointr/PSVR

I travel all the time with my pro and PSVR. This case is well worth the price if you don't want to risk breaking the precious cargo en route. I can ft my PS4, headset, all cables, 2 ds4's, 2 moves, and a few physical games. Highly recommended https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01MRWTHEY?psc=1

u/KALT1803 · 2 pointsr/PSVR

> I am a massive fan of res vr and farpoint and i am tempted to get beat saber is it worth it

Do you also like rhythm games and maybe also to do some fitness stuff? Then absolutely!

>how long till it gets boring ?

OST has 10 songs, but there are about 15 songs on PSVR at the moment and more DLC is coming. Yesterday Expert+ mode was released... it will a long time until you good enough to do this like it's no challenge anymore.

Bought it shortly after launch, haven't completed the campaign yet and only 2 or 3 songs on normal Expert mode with S rank and still no song with some kind of modifiers, but still have lots of fun with it.

u/meistro75 · 2 pointsr/PSVR

This is the one I picked up and it works great and keeps things neat. Each controller slot has a blue LED (red when charging) so may bother some but not an issue for me.

u/GobBluth19 · 1 pointr/PSVR

recently got these to use instead of the gold's i'd been using

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006B486K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

much better not worrying about breaking the golds, and yeah you get a lot better cooling and airflow with them

u/Timo_KC · 2 pointsr/PSVR

And here is a lens pen that works well. I would get both, personally. The lens pen removes oils and smudges, but the lens cloth can be good for leaving some of the residue that the lens pen leaves. Be sure to use the brush or some kind of air to blow away dust particles prior to using either. Small particles have the potential to scratch your lens if you rub them in.

https://www.amazon.com/Nikon-7072-Lens-Cleaning-System/dp/B00006JN3G/

u/90405 · 2 pointsr/PSVR

Here is the link

It's weird. When you check it out on mobile, it's really clear that there's only the digital copy available. However, when you use a desktop, then it's really hidden.

Scroll down to the bottom to where it says "Product Information" and you'll notice that the Platform is listed as "PlayStation 4 Digital Code."

If you know where on Amazon to pre-order a physical copy, I'd love to hear it.

u/isthistheanswer · 1 pointr/PSVR

I use a boom mic stand like this one from Amazon.

It comes with a crocadile clip which fits the camera perfectly.

u/[deleted] · 2 pointsr/PSVR

No one has mentioned something called Sea Bands You can get them on Amazon. They are little sweat bands that have a plastic domes on them. You wear them on your wrists. The white domes press into the skin some and hit a pressure point that reduces motion sickness pretty well.

I hadn’t played for a few months and played RE7 the other day for about an hour and forgot to put them on. I felt awful of course. Today I wore them and played Farpoint for an hour and a half and felt just fine.

I keep a bracelet on my display dock for people without VR legs to put on if they want to get adventurous and try something a little more extreme and it works like a charm.

I’m in the US, and I do all my shopping on amazon. This is the first time I didn’t because the game was a digital code only

Edit:

Only physical is for standard PS4 Skyrim

If you want a charging station for everything and the price isn't an issue, I have this one:

Hmmm maybe a lens pen would work? I bought this one when I first got my PSVR.

I've been considering buying these and inventing some way to fix them onto the PSVR in a similar (though slightly rubbish) way.

Here is a YouTube Video showing the setup you need.

I just set mine up today. So far it works as advertised.

Personally this but I suppose a couple of usb cables would do in a pinch.

Nope.

This is the one they're referring to:

Second one I linked is a later rebrand with 2 DS4 adapters to use it with PS4 as a Sony attempted to "recycle" excess accessories produced during the PS3 Move era.

I remember picking my first one up for $5 clearance in Walmart before PSVR and then they hiked up in price after demand soared for Move wands.

Keep all yo shit charged and look cool doing it:

Also you're going to want to adjust the camera height for sitting/standing. A microphone stand or bookshelf works well.
