my big wish is for my kids bed, he is 4(almost 5) and he has never had his own bed, we went to walmart recently and he was sooo excited when he passed the kids beds, I told him wait for santa! but I know I don't have the money for it, I have it on my wishlist for king. He is an awesome kid, he deserves it. So smart and sweet. About my family we are fun, loving, crazy, artistic and happy. We love to turn on the radio and have dance parties! Or pull out the craft bucket and start crafting. I try to find things to do that don't cost much museum, park, free festivals! My 2 year old loves outside ,has has to talk to EVERY girl/woman that passes by him .I try to teach my kids money is not everything. Also reading is something we all enjoy as a family! Sorry this got kinda long. Thank you, merry Christmas . here is a link to the item, ninja turtle bed http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CBOZ3OG/ref=gl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_img?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1AFQYAYMBCE5N&coliid=I2DCCK1WDZP0TV&psc=1

Hi! I would like to enter my family in this contest. I recently purchased some wooden people of different sizes for me and my children to decorate during the holidays and I just realized I dont quite have enough acrylic paint nor do I have enough colors. So I figured this would be the perfect gift for my family! Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint Set, 18 Piece (2-Ounce), PROMOABI Assorted Colors I https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ATJSD8I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Ym38BbFDFY4HF

My 2 kids, Alex 12, Trinity 11, love to do art and that is my motivating factor to get them to do their chores! I keep lots of art supplies hanging around my room so they know once their chores are done they can do anything that want to, from making jewelry with resin, to creating a sculpture with polymer clay. We have fun creating and discovering what bright new things can be made all from using their imaginations!

I just want to thank you for offering this contest to families like mine. My kids dont go out very often due to me being disabled and not having a vehicle. Your contest helps people like me continue to keep my children entertained and happy.

My three little ones would love to have this to share.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00MOU4DQQ/ref=aw_wl_ov_dp_1_1?colid=39C6SMU1ZEGFP&coliid=I1YBSBOSJP24DQ&vs=1

I added it to Harmonys wish list but all three of them would be sharing it for Christmas . Thanks for considering up and thanks again for the wonderful, considerate offer. I felt like entering them for a gift together to share was the best thing to do considering we have three. http://imgur.com/DTH5reL

Thank you for offering this and for the chance!

We have a few board games and twister but we don't have Monopoly! Monopoly was a game that hubs and I played a lot when we had just gotten married so it has a lot of good memories for us. I picked the Disney Edition because I think it would be more interesting for my girls.

Avery is 8 and Addie is 6, both love Disney so they'd have more fun! I think it'd also help with their counting money skills. But of course they're sisters and are highly competitive so it would make an interesting night!

Thanks again!

I would love, love, love to participate in this! I am the biggest bookworm ever and am trying my hardest to instill my own love of reading into my kids as well. Thanks so much for offering.

Tyler is 12 years old and loves to read. He's really into Goosebumps right now: http://www.amazon.com/Goosebumps-51-Beware-Snowman-Stine/dp/0439863937/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1415987032&sr=1-1&keywords=r.l.+stine+goosebumps

Grace just turned 9 and used to be a year behind in reading. Thanks to her newfound interest in Junie B. Jones, she has made it back up to grade level this year! I'm really proud of her: http://www.amazon.com/dp/0375828095/ref=gl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1AZJI66MPQOQK&coliid=I34LMOGJH0H0AJ

Alannah is 6 years old and is just starting to learn how to read on her own. She's so proud of herself learning how to sound out new words and wants to read Berenstain Bears books every night before bed: http://www.amazon.com/dp/0394856392/ref=gl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=38RMI6VNCC844&coliid=IP8MH5HLD4Q55

Dylan is 4 years old and OBSESSED with dinosaurs! I read him a bedtime story every night and he always requests one of his (few) dinosaur books. A new dino book would make him so thrilled (and mommy, because I get tired of reading the same ones over and over, ha ha ;)): http://www.amazon.com/dp/0312513062/ref=gl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=VOUQJGJQ8HUZ&coliid=I6JE7CBLD009K

Happy birthday!! :D This is such a sweet gesture you're doing. Giving feels so amazing, it's like a gift in itself right? hehe.
I think that Odin's (almost 3 years old) ultimate gift would have to be This stroller

http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/367CEBFHDAFWM/ref=topnav_lists_1
Here is his wish list.

We take walks in several different parks with rough terrain in Salem, OR, and his current stroller's wheels are breaking/falling off and are hard to navigate the terrain. We've been trying to save up for one but it just hasn't been able to happen.
I'm not sure if this is more a gift for us as a family or not, but It would help us continue our routine and he absolutely LOVES going on walks through the parks.

Good morning! My youngest son loves to try to read to me, he's not there yet, but to help him on his way I think he would like this. Most of the books we have are chapter books for my older son, so one with more pictures would be much appreciated. And what kid doesn't like a good super hero!

Thank you!

Wish list with the book: http://www.amazon.com/Super-Friends-Flying-High-Reading/dp/0375852085/ref=tmm_pap_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1418722103&sr=8-16

My kids big wish are an Amazon kindle fire. My daughter is six and my son is 8 and my daughter is just getting into reading for herself. My son reads every night. These would be amazing and I would die if my kids got them.

Fire, 7" Display, Wi-Fi, 8 GB - Includes Special Offers, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TSUGXKE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_XWxEwb0RZ47BB

I am a single mother. I don't have a job. Had to quit because transportation wasn't possible. Couldn't afford insurance. So now I just rely on child support (which never comes) and try to do what's best for my kids. My son is 8 and he's amazing. He's considerate and calm and kind and patient. My daughter is 6 and she's amazing. She's wild and crazy and outgoing and full of energy. Never quits. They both balance each other out.

Thank you for the offer!

My older daughter loves all things Christmas. I would have to pick the classics Rudolph, Frosty, and Santa shows to watch with her. Or there are also some favorites like Elf and you can't forget about Christmas Vacation

Thank you for the fun contest. My daughters love to snuggle up and watch a show.

u/rumpypumper · 5 pointsr/RandomActsOfChristmas

Pick me please! I found an awesome one awhile back on Amazon that's 3' (perfect for our small apartment) and pretty reasonably priced with great reviews! It's Here. Thanks for thinking of others this Christmas!

u/DaHitcha · 1 pointr/RandomActsOfChristmas

I was checking on that one too but I can't right now so I'd have offered to buy it in January eventually, new paycheck and all. Just wanted to say that for that price you can find plenty of better ones on ebay, some even refurbished so with new screens or jacks, they just go fast so you have to be quick once you make the choice. First ones that stood up in a search for instance, one, two, three and four. And five.

It's a bit more complicated for the shipping but there's really a lot more choice. And thanks for being awesome anyway.

edit: just saw that there are some refurbished in amazon too, I'd go with that ones if I were you

Hello, and ho ho ho! :)

I'm definitely on board to buy Chloe her ipod Touch! I've checked out her amazon wishlist, and you said used is okay - I'm looking at one that is in good condition, comes with a charger, etc. It's 85.00, and is on pg. 3 of the "used" list pages. The seller is "chesscoach." Could you add this one to your wishlist? I can't buy this particular one unless it's added to your list. :) I'll check back later! Here's the link to the page with the one I'm looking at - what do you think?

No it won't, the 3DS is Nintendo's newest handheld gaming device so the new 3DS games won't play on the old DSi, which brings me to my next point..

I represent a group of redditors who are united by our love of gaming, and we regularly gift games throughout the year over at /r/GiftofGames.

We had a couple of people on our shortlist this year, and you are one of them. We really liked that you contribute to discussions outside of requesting subreddits, and that you weren't making requests and entering contests all over reddit.

As gamers, we feel that Joseph should have something a little more up-to-date, so we're willing to get him a new 3DS. All his old DSi can still be played on it, and he'll be able to play 3Ds games too.

My kids and I love Elf. http://www.amazon.com/Elf-Infinifilm-Will-Ferrell/dp/B0002F6BRE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415810152&sr=8-1&keywords=elf+dvd
We try to catch it every year on TV - it would great not to have to stress over missing it!
Thanks for the great offer!!

u/lightzalot · 4 pointsr/RandomActsOfChristmas

All of my childhood favorites are on this! I absolutely loved watching these every year and it's something I would love to do with my children too.

u/EdenSB · 3 pointsr/RandomActsOfChristmas

You're welcome and I hope Joseph enjoys it.

Huge credit to /u/maximumdan who spent a lot of time looking into participants and headed the whole thing.

As a heads up, I see you've put a 3DS XL on your list. I'm not aware of which model of 3DS was mentioned, but the 'New 3DS XL' (newest model, a bit better than the 3DS XL) is actually cheaper than the one you listed due to a sale here.

Edit: I see MaximumDan is on the ball as always.

u/kasbaby · 1 pointr/RandomActsOfChristmas

What a cool offer!

We love Elf . Cotton-headed ninny muggins is our affectionate name for each other! We also like A Christmas Story .

I've added them both to the girls' wish list if you are so inclined.

Thanks again for the offer!!

All three of my older kids have this as their ultimate wishlist item. I made them tell why they wanted it and how it was beneficial to them. It can be used for school and for fun. With the parental settings it can be set to only give them a set amount of fun time after a set amount of school or educational items such as reading has been done. I made them explain everything on their withlist. I want them to fully grasp needs versus wants. And I also had them look for the most affordable items so they could learn to be smart consumers. This is on all three older kids wish list. I linked the oldest twin's

This is on Lalas list she is 4 and loves to sing its one of the most affordable kaoroke machines I could find. She has a gift or shoes and a dress but no toys.

My fiance and I both watched this movie every year as children! We would love to share the memories with our daughter!

I'll copy & paste what I put on MeghanAm's

We didn't have a tree last year. When we moved last November, the manager at my old apartment was supposed to hold my tree and big box of decorations until I could find a truck to come back for it, but the maintenance guys threw it away the next day... besides, last Christmas so was utterly depressing, nobody even cared that there was no tree.
I ended up making a tree out of some random braches that I "borrowed" from the woods behind my house, ribbon, burlap, bells and some other random stuff... held together with a broken yard stick that I spray painted, a mug and styrofoam.

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/p180x540/1425660_700670599950731_684739415_n.jpg?oh=9b8da3eca858d0d22c0ef3b14bf3bd86&oe=55183B9F&__gda__=1427566109_e889bba987e6b1ad2628fff9fe209d99
All the decorations on the fire place I made myself, except the plush snow man and the lantern. I painted pine cones, cut letters out of cardboard and mod-podged burlap and twine on them and used a pip berry wreath as an "o". and then filled my jars with white garland and the trees from an old train set. I had to kind of scramble and improvise, but I like how it turned out.

I would love this tree http://www.amazon.com/Snow-White-Pine-Artificial-Christmas/dp/B005X9OYPA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1416282564&sr=8-3&keywords=white+tree

Or this one http://www.walmart.com/ip/Holiday-Time-Pre-Lit-6.5-Madison-Christmas-Tree-White-Multi-Colored-Lights/37556732

Size doesn't matter to me!!

and I would decorate it like this http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/236x/4b/f7/41/4bf74162935cf3057f9814131c793daf.jpg

Great offer, thanks for letting me "enter"! <3
