Besides that, thanks for the tips! I'm thinking about maybe going for a fossil or invicta gen on amazon at this price honestly, this Invicta isn't bad looking and this Fossil intrigues me (as does this one!) how do they stack up against the reps movement-wise? I know they are on the lower end so it's not gonna be like a Rolex or anything, but aren't replicas (at this price point) just as "mediocre" (or however you'd like to say)?

Is there a big difference in quality between all of the different NATO straps out there? What is the difference between that crown and buckle strap and a six pack of straps for $15 on Amazon that seem to have good reviews?

Anyone have lots of Nato straps and can speak to this? I'm about to buy a "James Bond" striped style Nato strap and want to know if its worth the extra money.

Pocket knives are a lot like watches, people don't notice them and if they do they're usually fans. In the past seven-ish years of carrying a pocket knife I've had maybe two people say something: one was a security guard telling me "no" and the other was a girl who noticed my grass green Paramilitary 2 against my dark blue jeans pocket. In my experience, if you don't look like a tacticool 2a guy wearing a "Protected by Glock" tee, people won't be squeamish about you carrying a knife.

Also, there are different knives. People are going to react differently to this knife than that knife.

Did a bunch of research and yes no clear consensus but decided to try it since I hate resetting the date and time everytime I wear a different watch in my rotation. Some of them have some intermittent issues when I’m trying to do it too so I have to pull the crown out and back in to get it just right so figured I’ll probably break it setting it before this winder does. Hey, have you asked your td to se if they can sale you extra screws.
Another suggestion, if the screws are a tad fatter try sanding it down to see if it will slim it down.

Like you I had a similar problem with a pam buckle and a bad screw.
I was able to fix it with this but I can say I could have easily damaged the buckle.

If you're going to just be doing a one time thing just bring it to any local jewelry shop and they'll do it pretty cheap. If you're going to be buying watches often, then buy a hammer/punch set. be careful with those kits, the screwdrivers are cheap and flimsy. Buy a set that looks sturdy, it will be so much easier.

Yes, put it on myself with a springbar tool as a screwdriver. This watch actually has the authentic screw-in strap bars, which I thought was a really cool touch.

Invicta Diver has a knock-off Miyota movement in it that will probably last a longass time. I've had one since 2009. Took it diving, smashed it on stuff, still kicking.
