Not a film adaption per se, but I'm looking forward to this tv series adaptation starring Benedict Cumberbatch :) I finished watching recently a terrific HBO/BBC miniseries from 2012 called Parade's End based on a tetralogy of novels by Ford Madox Ford.

That is a great idea, I will bring it up to him. He is an engineer at UC Berkeley and is still trying to perfect his machining skills but I will talk to him. We were thinking about starting off with a basic knob like this and taking it from there.

If you wanna read more about good guy Bonds, Jeff Pearlman does a decent job including some anecdotes about him doing some charitable things on his own accord in Love Me, Hate Me. Most of the book is the same old Bonds being a jerk narrative, but it's actually a pretty fair and balanced account.

Buy a 6 pack of grape juice. Make sure the juice matches the wine color. Also, make sure you buy one in plastic wrap like this.


Slowly stretch the plastic open until you can remove the bottles. Do not rip the plastic. Pour out each bottle and fill with wine. Here is the genius part, put all the bottles back in the case carefully, grab a hair dryer, and shrink the plastic wrap around the bottles.

They wont make you rip open your bottles to check if it's juice or wine. Ive dont this plenty of times. Oj and gin. Rum and Pineapple Juice. Wine. It works everytime and you dont have to sneakly sip it the entire game.

Just a standard 2:1 bread flour/water ratio.

• I make 5 cups of flour
  
  
• Add a tps of salt.
  
  
• Add a tsp of yeast to the water(warm)
  
  
• Sometimes a tea spoon of olive oil in the dough.
  
  
• Run it in the kitchenaid on slow and finish kneading it by hand.
  
  
• Let it rise for ~hour (much longer if it's cold).
  
  
• Get the oven as hot as I can (mine 550)
  
  
• Slap it on the pizza stone (the difference a stone makes in the crust is unbelievable.) Link
  
  
• Take it off when it looks done/can't wait anymore.
  
  
• Wrap the dogs in the rest of the dough
  
  
• Throw some egg wash on there
  
  
• Put them on the stone when the pizza comes out.
  
  I'm still trying to get a better crust. It's pretty good but doesn't have that restaurant pizza taste. I'm thinking of trying 00 flour next time. I still have an issue of overcooking the toppings and undercooking the crust.

Just finished this book and it's pretty good! I look forward to using it as a referential tool.

And now I'm starting this..

Something like this does wonders for heat on a Macbook. I play video games on mine. It gets rocket hot w/o the pad. With it, it's fine.

Not sure about other post season games, but the World Series DVDs or BluRays have their commentary as an option. Also they sell really good recaps of the run, but not whole games.
