This video is stupid helpful for white sneakers
Get Jordan 1 Glitter outta your shoes
> durable and could last hopefully over 8 months
durable can mean many things, and you seem to need a few different things ...
> I'm getting tired of finding holes both on the inside and outside of sneakers that are months old
So it sounds like you might need hard wearing outers to deal with rocks, brambles, dog walking in long grass. That bit should be easy; choose sneakers meant for off-roading that have leather/suede/hard outers. I'm not sure Adidas PrimeKnit will stand up to dog walking on the sand dunes with tough grass and brambles, for instance, but the Adidas Terrex shoes would do a better job.
> that can handle ~20 miles of walking/jogging per week
Miles per week doesn't matter. Total mileage does. Durable in terms of "soles that last a lot of miles" is not something manufacturers really advertise in sneakers. Most manufacturers advise a max of 500 miles/6 months of wear before you'll see serious sole deterioration that can lead to injury.
Your personal mileage may also vary. Do you "float" as a runner, or stomp? It also depends on your gait (do you have exaggerated gait issues that lead to heavy wear/compression in particular spots of the sole), your weight, how hard you heel-strike/lift-off etc. You might naturally get more than 500 miles out of sneakers, you might naturally get a lot less.
Speaking of gait you should regularly your gait measured (they usually do it for free) at a running store to see if you need neutral/stable shoes for running (or even orthotics) to make sure you don't exacerbate any issues and lead to injuries.
> I walk/jog/ and work all in the same pair.
I don't know what your work is. If it is just sitting then the only concern here is the amount of time you have the shoes on your feet, and how smelly/sweaty they'll get. If it is a lot of walking and manual labour (lifting/twisting your feet on the spot) that's another. Something like the continental soles on the newer adidas terrex/boosts etc. might make the soles last longer, particularly if you find you've been wearing the tread in the same spot on your old pairs. They also might be safer as they are grippy on slick floors.
Given you wear them every day, as much as anything else it's about how you look after them. I would make sure you dry them every night so they don't rot/smell. After you take them off loosen the laces and let them breath for twenty minutes. If they got rained on then take out the insoles and stuff with newspaper to help them dry them out properly. Once dried/if not rained on then use cedar shoe trees to kill bacteria, make them smell good and stop them rotting inside (they only cost $20, get them 3 sizes smaller than your shoes and take out the springs if they look like they might stretch them). Don't put them in a warm place to dry every day; that just helps the bacteria grow.

TL;DR
I've had good results using Angelus Sole Bright (amazon link) It's basically a deoxidizing agent and does a good job removing some of the yellowing that can appear overtime on boost soles. For scuffs and other marks, like others have said, I've used magicerasers with a good deal of success as well. Good luck!
https://www.amazon.com/Nike-Mens-Lite-Trainer-Running/dp/B07C9YNQTX HOLY OMG FUCKING GOD THANK YOU FOR ALL THE HELP PROVIDED I FOUND THE SHOE OH MY ASDINBFIHABGHIASBGIUASBGIBASUIGNASJIGNASIB IM SO HAPPY YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE>
Just follow this guide, but don't use the bleach when you throw them in a washer. I recommend getting a cheap pillow case from target or something too. I got mine for $5 for 2 cases. I also would recommended getting some Crep for the scrubbing part instead of soap, just remember to be softer on the primeknit. Plus, the crep kit (which you can find at journeys or some other shoe stores if you don't want to buy online) is great for cleaning when they're starting to get some dirt on them before they get too beat. You should be able to fix these up pretty easily!
Awesome! Thanks mate.Found Some Extra Patches on Amazon as well. you'll have to put your own Velcro Backing on But that's easy enough.

First, Congrats on your pickup!!
Second: This is what I use for all my J1's: https://www.amazon.com/JWONG-ANGELUS-Angelus-Easy-Cleaner/dp/B01ED8P3HO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1525115149&sr=8-1&keywords=angelus+shoe+cleaner
Third: You can use a leather conditioner on them to keep them supple and to prevent cracking. However, you will likely be ready for a new pair before you really have to worry about cracking. There are quite a few good products out there, with some being much more expensive than others.
Fourth: Enjoy your new kicks and wear them with pride!!

Just Amazon's cheap ones. The good thing about this one is that you could stack them as many as you want. A bit tricky with high tops tho (only top level can hold high tops). So if you have a lot of high tops I suggest getting something else. As for size, I wear 9.5. So i think it should be fine for size up to 12~13? I mean if you don't mind the rears of your shoes sticking out a little bit, you can put in whatever sizes you want.

They have them in different tip size so pay attention to what you're buying/what you need. I used a bold tip for this but I kinda wish I got a fine tip one as well to make it easier for the parts closer to the PK.
Right here! They're kinda pricey but I got them for free with Amazon rewards points.
So in attempt to whiten my Ultra Boost I fucked them up with bleach and yellowed the foam. So I decided to make them white again and honestly it's really easy. Just buy some Angelus Leather dye, paint and Mink oil. Start with two coats of dye, then two coats of paint, let it dry for 8 hours or so and then spray on a coat of Mink oil. Bam you got new boost for a cheap price.
Here's some more pics - https://imgur.com/a/9ynNq
Angelus Brand Leather Dye w/Applicator - 3 oz
Angelus Acrylic Paint 1oz
Angelus Genuine Professional Mink Oil Conditioner Spray
no brushes need as both dye and paint come with one that worked out good for me.
Edit: oh yeah and I tried every solution before going this far. I tried two types of alcohol and vinegar with baking soda with no luck
Edit 2: it may look a little sloppy in the middle bottom right side of the sole (left pic). It looks like I painted the black part there but the actual boost foam started peeling a little from the thin black traction, so I ended up putting my brush in there but it's not on the actual black at all.
i've got some all white NMD's and i've tried so hard to clean them. Washing machine, hand washing, jason markk, etc. Nothing works. they are still yellowing. never getting all white shoes again
What I did find is using an oil based white sharpie on the boost is MAGIC. (https://www.amazon.com/Sharpie-Paint-MParker-White-35568/dp/B0026HC9F4) the boost looks brand new after a coat of it
So I decided to grab these from NDC with some leftover gift card credit because of this thread - looks 10x better clipped like this.
Just FYI I'm holding you personally responsible if I fuck mine up when I try to do this /s .
P.S. Do you think a fuzz/pill shaver like this will work to smooth it out?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Sneakers/comments/6eqshj/boost_whitening_mystery_grey/
post of what it looks like after
I would assume it looks fine long term because the oil would soak into the boost and keep it white until it got dirty again (vs. painting over it that would chip off), use a white oil sharpier - I think this is the right one. https://www.amazon.com/Sharpie-Paint-MParker-White-35568/dp/B0026HC9F4
/u/Ouranox /u/brokeandfamous would be great if you guys gave advice because I haven't personally done this yet.
Btw, you can use a hot air dryer to uncrease your NMD blocks as well, if you haven't seen that post yet :)

rack is super modular and customizable and light, super would recommend for space and budget peeps who spent all their money on shoes instead
I have these cedarwood shoe trees from a German manufacturer for $22 each. These shoe trees from amazon.com seem to be similar to them and the price is very good as well. Shoe trees are the most important part of shoe care (but never use them with primeknit).

Is the Crep one good? This one specifically.
Thanks!
I have heard really good things about Kiwi whitener I am not saying buy from here but this is one of the first links I found to it just by googling.
Many other people pain their boost but I heard that can take a bit of time. Good luck
Use soap and water or and sneaker cleaner.
As far as if your boost is yellowing you will need to paint over it to do that you need to
Get angleus leather paint
Put thin coats drying with a hair dryer in between coats
Use a finisher
Another method I have see used on white boost is to use a sneaker paint pen
(https://www.amazon.com/KIWI-Sport-Shoe-Whitener-4-0/dp/B000UDEBMA)
Just an example ^
And you can just use that on the boost
https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Shoe-Trees-Adjustable-Lightweight/dp/B07G7FXY2Y/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=adjustable+shoe+tree&qid=1565107101&s=gateway&sr=8-9
IMO these are the best. The IKEA style is popular but these do a much better job.
angelus
Using this to restore some 2011 space jams. Works pretty good. One coat seemed to lighten the yellow a decent amount. Going to apply another coat to see if that helps even more.
I used a sharpie to clean up my soles, worked pretty well. I also saw these at my local target.
[White oil based sharpie]

Something like this?

I have heard good things from Crep Protect.
Get the [Crep Cure Kit] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crep-Protect-Cure-Cleaning-Kit/dp/B018YHSEBW/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1486990179&sr=8-5&keywords=crep+protect) It's works well and is a nice neat little kit to have.
The rack is from Amazon. I switch out shoes on the rack maybe once a week.
The rest of my shoes are in my closet. Couldn't get the entire wall in the shot, but that's some of it.
The Vans are from the CDG x Supreme collab from earlier this year.
nice pickup! i have these too, i got these laces to make them pop a little. just a recommendation :) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071CVFTJB/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B071CVFTJB&linkCode=as2&tag=tuffode-20&linkId=e322a00bc618ea9c95de7f8f51329253
I used an electric razor on my ubs. I'll be honest they don't like they're brand new but they looked better than before. I've only read that manual razors work. So my advice is test a small spot to see how it does. Go with the grain, and press light enough to cut the fuzz.
I also just thought about it, a fabric shaver might work as well.
https://www.amazon.com/Remington-Fuzz-Away-Fabric-Shaver-RTFS-2/dp/B0034BV6KA
I don't know if this can be saved, but a sweater pill remover should help.

Just got these, so far they're great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016XB32FE/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awd_d_9reFxbC631NRR
Been doing some reading and hear this stuff can be used on the rubber portions. If you have a steady hand I think they will turn out well.
https://www.amazon.com/Angelus-Leather-Paint-Oz-White/dp/B0196T961O
Yeah from the pictures I think I agree with you. Thoughts on how these would look? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYRWHWK/ref=twister_B06ZZMVPM8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You need to get your hands on a sweater shaver. A buddy of mine fixed the suede inserts on his seats that looked just like this. Then you can use a suede brush to make it look like new.
This shoe rack seems to be popular here (I've seen people ask about it often when small collections using it are posted) can be stackable, and doesn't break the bank.
Not sure of the budget, but another idea might be a sneaker cleaning set (brushes, wipes, and solution) from brands like Jason Markk or Crep, etc. ($30-$50 range)
The laces are sick nice shoes
Edit: if anyone is curious on the laces I found these reps on amazon here. The original site is sold out and never restocking
Here's the Amazon link courtesy of u/Head_Honchoo from an earlier thread where this was discussed
I just picked these up in Venice last week. Saw a post with these laces on a pair of primeknits and I liked them. Any lace recommendations for this pair of sneakers?
You can order this from Amazon. Or you can go to Walmart and buy this. I think a lint roller might do the job as well.
I use this type of sharpie to paint my boost back to white on other pairs. They have a black, you could give it ago and see what happens.
I just use a white oil-based sharpie pen whenever my boost gets a little too gross-looking.
https://www.amazon.com/Sanford-35558-Sharpie-Oil-Based-1-Count/dp/B001PLKRZQ/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1549955805&sr=8-13&keywords=oil+based+sharpie
I’ve done exactly this on 3 pairs of boost kicks.

I'm going to get alot of shit for this! When I got the shoes the midsoles were BURNT yellow, hadn't been cleaned in years. After I hit them with the Jason Markk, I purchased this sharpie and colored over the midsole, made it crispy white. It's an oil based white and made them look BRAND NEW! Hope that helps.

Ah okay, thought you had the same one. If you are in America, might want to try this one http://www.amazon.com/Seville-Classics-Resin-Wood-Composite-Utility/dp/B00336TY0K/ref=sr_1_1?s=storageorganization&ie=UTF8&qid=1429809445&sr=1-1&keywords=shoe+rack
It's [this one from Amazon] (https://www.amazon.com/Seville-Classics-Resin-Wood-Composite-Utility/dp/B00336TY0K) stacked on top of one another
Edit: I have the same one(s)
I used an oil based marker, more specifically this one. I made a previous post showing the before and after here. The good thing about this method is that there's no cracking since it's ink not paint although I'm still waiting to see how long it takes before the ink wears out after wear.
They have this shoe rack at Amazon for 40 bucks. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00ZOH2J5I/ref=sxl1?ie=UTF8&qid=1467238769&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65
