Since you have some money I would look at a solution like this. Vizio soundbar with a separate powered subwoofer. I like this option because you're getting an actual sub vs a small under powered proprietary bass module. If the soundbar or sub dies you can replace either one vs the whole setup like you would with an include sub. You also can expand/upgrade to an AVR and speakers and keep the sub. This is something that you can't do with most soundbar subs. It's really the best way to implement a soundbar.

Soundbar - Vizio 3.0 $165 or this this Vizio 2.0 for $100

Subwoofer - Get a Dayton Sub 1000 $135 or a Martin Logan Dynamo 300 $120 if you need a smaller downfiring option. Don't forget a sub cable. (length depends on your room placement)

Nice room but tough for home theater. Where do you plan to mount the surround speakers? This is one of those very rare times when I'm almost inclined to recommend an all-on-bar faux-surround solution. Like the Yamaha YSP-5600 since your budget is pretty close, sub optional but I'd get one and put it below the TV...or get the wireless subwoofer kit.

Cool thanks. These from Polk look pretty good to me. Now to find the SWA-9000s for cheap somewhere.

I have these but in white. A super easy to find i. Germany. But you can uses any 4ohm or 4-8ohm speaker as surround. Do not need larger driver. 3 to 4 inch woofer is more then enough with a 3/4 inch tweeter.

>Samsung HW-Q60R 3.1 system currently listed on Amazon for $277 as of 11/7,

Damn. Missed that deal. Looks like it only dropped for a couple days.

EDIT: Looks like they had a couple on Amazon Renewed here for $279:

But as soon as I went to buy it, they ran out of stock. Gah!

Oh well, I can wait for the Best Buy Black Friday deal for $279:

I'm very happy with my Samsung HW-MS660.

This line of soundbars has as good as bass as one can reasonably get without a dedicated subwoofer.

It hits the other Points too like 4k pass through With HDR.

The price on Amazon right now is around 350$ which is OK, but can occasionally be found on sale for around $250-300 which is a bargain.

SW100 10" is 17,795 INR rn on amazon.in (250 USD direct equivalent). I have high hopes from this guy though. Please leave your impressions if you've heard it's bass signature. https://www.amazon.in/dp/B06XRB1JZS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4hR6Cb9GM61WS
Now I don't see any LPF crossover at the back of it. Will it matter much?

It's living room/family room. It's not full wall room, it has two wide open entrances to the kitchen that are not able to cover.
I won't able to hide it in a wall.

I would have put one rear speakers and the receiver on a column and the other perpendicular on the other side mounted on a wall. So the wire would be on the top wall.

Do you think something like this can cover it?

Checks most of your boxes. If there's a simpler remote, I'm not aware.
