I wish you the best of luck in your ears. If you're able to return them, however - and I don't know Wish's return policy as I've been too scared to buy from them - you can be cheap and at least be semi safe and get a steel kit that has everything you can want. Budget friendly and won't harbor nasty bacteria. Even has free two day shipping if you sign up for a free trial of prime. Just do a little more extensive research as there's plenty of safe options for small budgets. Also stay away from tea tree oil and please don't use lotion or neosporin to stretch up, Jojoba oil would be your best friend but coconut could work in a pinch.

I've used bondage tape for a few years now and it's great. Essentially, you just want to use a non-adhesive tape. PTFE (aka plummers tape) will do the trick as well.
In addition, I do recommend picking up some Holey Butt'r or some type of stretching balm. When using tape, the friction can irritate the ears. I find balm to be a little better to use than oil, as oil can seep between the layers of tape and cause them to lose their stick.

Anyone else have good luck with places like Amazon? Or horror stories that will make me run and throw these all away immediately?

Is there water in the little bumps? If so, you probably went up a little too early. It'll go down.

Otherwise, try the clear o-rings instead. You can find them on amazon, and they made a huge difference for me when I was still wearing single flared jewelry!

FYI I'm in Canada so that's a .ca link. Also, the individual boxes/grids are quite tiny - even for me and I have baby hands. So if you have larger hands I'd search for one with larger dimensions.

I recently got ears pierced too. I wake up a bit stiff, but ive been able to sleep on my back from propping myself up with pillows under knees and elevating top of body a bit. Or alternatively tucking myself in really tight so its harder to roll around.

Also, to add to what jacobcanflyy says, if you don't want to go for bondage tape, a good alternative is the PTFE, which is teflon tape, or plumbers tape. you can get it for insanely cheap at any hardware store.

If you're worried about that I'm sure you can find some raw or additive free Cocoa Butter somewhere.

I just use one of these, but mine is a bit smaller. I like how you can move the small dividers around.

I just got mine from the dollar store actually, so it was only around $2 and has plenty room for the jewelry I have.

Hey OP, after a bit of searching this was the smallest I could find. These are 1.5 inches and seems like youd need to add your own silicone tunnels/sleeves to wear them in your ear. I simply typed in google "quartz clock 1-1/8 inches". Hopefully this helps on your journey to find another pair. The brand seems to be Hicarer, and I'm not sure if the Quartz name is a specific line or not, but they all had Quartz on the face.

Edit to say this is a singular item and would require you to buy two. They fit 35mm holes and idk if they'd be too heavy or not. Hope this is useful
