I recommend a Pebble smartwatch or Pebble Steel. I have one and it's awesome. The original comes in many colors, and the Steel comes in two, but the general consensus of /r/Pebble is that the Brushed Stainless Pebble Steel is better than the Black Matte version.
P.S. If you are not OP and you are just looking for something to buy, check out getpebble.com. For some reason on Amazon all the colors cost different amounts, but they are all the same cost on the official website.
Thinking about getting these for home entertainment purposes or these for music/gaming (read: TagPro) purposes.
Any experience with Sennheiser or Audio Technica products? I've never owned anything from either company but I know they are considered pretty top notch in terms of audio products.

I just finished a great book called The Other Wes Moore, also. It was super interesting.
I'm a big fan of non-fiction books, in case that wasn't immediately apparent by the list.
Do you like history? I read the big Lincoln book, Team of Rivals. It took forever but man was it worth it. I learned so much and the book really humanized Lincoln for me. When I finished I decided to just read it again, I enjoyed it so much.
Oh, you could get an absolute beast for that price. Depends on your requirements too. The Dell XPS 15 9550 is $1,200. The Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK has NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics (same as the XPS 15), which would play pretty much any game right now at max settings and is only $800. The ASUS ROG GL752VW-DH71 has the same graphics card but a bigger screen, if that's your thing, and has 16GB RAM (overkill IMO, but the other two have 8GB).
I don't know man, depends on what you want and what you are using it for more specifically. Battery power? Slim design for portability? Ect...
Kingston Hyper x cloud I love them. I dont even realize I am wearing them half the time. And if your patient I have seen them and the cloud II go on sale big time.
I've got a pair of Bose SoundLink II for home and another set that stays at work. I wanted headphones that I could walk around while wearing. I bought the pair for work, and liked them enough to buy the second pair for home.

You connect it to a cradle that it comes with, put it as high as possible (mine is on a dresser next to my desk), and then connect it to one of your USB ports.
