Let me start by saying, I don't have a background in hair. If anyone has professional experience and frowns upon my products- share what you know. I wish I could teach you how I do it, Bacon but even though I can't- I can share my products!

-I have the first generation of this hair dryer (The key to a hair dryer is the nozzle that directs the heat at the end) You can probably use any brand that you have already or prefer as long as you have that attachment

-Ceramic core natural bristle hair brush, I have had mine for so long that they no longer sell it but this one is very similar.

-Blow dry clips to separate hair out into four sections while wet (You can probably make more sections if you would prefer it. I just use the same 4 clips because I only bought one packet) Any clips will work, honestly.

-Bed Head Volumizing Cream

- Sun Bum Heat Protector

I do a deep conditioning mask every other week to keep it healthy and don't use bleachy hair dye because my hair is dark and I'm not adventurous enough to bother. You can use any deep conditioner you like. I just use raw coconut oil. I slather it on, on every other Sunday evening and keep it on for about half an hour before taking a shower and shampooing/conditioning like normal.

Checkout youtube for tutorials and happy blow drying!!

Bringing out the curl has nothing to do with product. It's all about the process. My hair has a natural wave to it and I realized air drying (and depending on shampoo/conditioner/gels/mousses) had been killing the curl. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Brush your hair before you get in the shower
  2. Shampoo only (DON'T use conditioner - this will weigh down your natural curl)
  3. Run your fingers through your hair under the water to get out any tangles (I also use the end of a comb like this). DON'T actually comb or brush your hair.
  4. Wrap your hair in a towel if you want while you dry off but if you can avoid it, it's best to just scrunch your hair in a towel to squeeze out the water (hang the ends over the towel and bring it all up to your scalp and squeeze - repeat all around). Again, DO NOT BRUSH.
  5. The only product I use other than shampoo is this one after the shower. Follow the directions on the bottle.
  6. THIS STEP IS KEY - Either blow dry with this type of diffuser or use a regular flat diffuser and SCRUNCH AS YOU DRY. Scrunching throughout this entire process is the most important part. Also, you have to use the low setting on the dryer (high heat might be ok). The higher power can blow out the curl.

    Good luck! Hope this helps!

They have way smaller ones. But trust me you can make your house beautiful with a few colorful rugs. I have gotten all of mine off Amazon and all of my spaces feel perfect💗

i highly recommend the book 'the liberal redneck manifesto' especially the audio version

https://www.amazon.com/Liberal-Redneck-Manifesto-Draggin-Dixie/dp/1501160389

ETA- shame this is being DVed because this is a hilarious book that really looks at the redneck stereotypes/life styles in an extremely smart way. "Smart, hilarious, and incisive, the Liberal Rednecks confront outdated traditions and intolerant attitudes, tackling everything people think they know about the South—the good, the bad, the glorious, and the shameful—in a laugh-out-loud funny and lively manifesto for the rise of a New South. Home to some of the best music, athletes, soldiers, whiskey, waffles, and weather the country has to offer, the South has also been bathing in backward bathroom bills and other bigoted legislation that Trae Crowder has targeted in his Liberal Redneck videos, which have gone viral with over 50 million views."

I think for most people some parts are obvious but it would be easier if we all knew it and used it as a playbook. If you’re interested you can find the workbook on Amazon: DBT® Skills Training Handouts and Worksheets, Second Edition https://www.amazon.com/dp/1572307811/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_nhcFDbDRAYEDQ

I went through it as part of treatment for an eating disorder, although less formally than usual. I think traditionally you do a lot of group meetings in a short, intensive period of time. But reading it at my own pace is helpful too.

Edited to add: the interpersonal skills section is essentially exactly like what my company pays good money for someone to come and teach us as “leadership training”

Oh man, yes. I use this on a day to day and then I use the eight greens serum and moisturizer around my period (so like ten days out of the month). The rest of the time, I use Eminence Thermal Spring Whip Moisturizer, 2 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002WE9SZ0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8xA.AbFX5R1PF it’s the best, it’s a cream but not thick or heavy, it’s pretty matte when it’s applied. I love it, swear by it.

If anyone is interested, I got the greatest longer-length flannels on Amazon a couple weeks ago. They have a ton of colors and they look great with leggings. And they are $12-$20 each. Cheaper than Chelsea’s and probably better quality:

I am so sorry you had to go through that. I am also sorry that this has just recently come to light... for me, the hardest part was realizing that my mother was a narcissist and that’s why certain things in my life didn’t make much sense (my co-dependency for example).

This book “Will I Ever Be Good Enough?: Healing the Daughters of Narcissistic Mothers” was so eye opening and so unbelievably helpful for me. You should definitely check it out... it’s weird because as you read it certain things in your life start making sense. It kinda blew my mind.

Anyway, I’m wishing you all the best!

My son has adhd, and we did the melatonin thing for a bit, but it started causing him to have night terrors, waking up in the middle of the night, groggy.. etc. it seemed to help him fall asleep, but it was more of a crash, not a gradual path to sleep. We do these now as needed, and it’s been a lot better, it has a tiny bit of melatonin and the rest is all natural. It relaxes him so he gradually drifts to sleep and stays asleep, no side effects in the am -we do no tv and/or electronics 30-1hr before bed. (They stimulate the brain more when you have adhd ) LUNA Kids | #1 Sleep Aid Tablets... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U470TAK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I hope you find my rambling useful, lol. Adhd is no joke and has so many layers, something I knew nothing about until my son was diagnosed

I want them all!! 😍 they’re beautiful!

https://imgur.com/a/koEtIuE I’ll try and get one when they’re all out. They’re little knobheads though and only come out properly when they want food. My clowns are spawning at the minute, so ones all rapey and trying to hump the other fish. 😤

Did you enjoy your meaty balls?

Yeah, I just couldn’t read it, you know when you’re sat cringing at it? That was me.

Oh, here’s some AMAZING true crime -

So, read them in Essex Boys, Blogg 19 and then New Gen.

It’s got everything in it. It’s fucking amazing.

Once you’ve read them, I’ll send you the ‘apparent truth’, you just have to get caught up in the he said/she said first.

Here is a link to the Etsy book that I started lettering with! I started lettering about 1 year ago after purchasing this book from Etsy. It comes with the best beginner pens to practice. It shows you multiple ways to write each letter so you can find your own style.

The pen i'm using in this video is the Micron 08. The glitter gel pens are the Pentel Sparkle Pop Gel Pens.

My FAVORITE small brush pen is the Tombow Fudenosuke hard tip.

Dsiposable litter boxes with Fresh Step clumping litter are the best thing I've ever used- and I've tried everything over the years. A very wide, sturdy scoop and unscented biodegradable poop bags with handle ties to keep the used litter & bacteria contained and odor-free in trash can. No mess, no litter spilled on the floor.

Scooping only takes a minute and the large poop bags with tie handles are worth every penny. One box lasts me 2 years, I scoop every other day- 1 cat. This makes scooping so much less of a pain in the ass.

I use Nature's Miracle disposable cat boxes- I get the Jumbo and use it inside of a covered litter box. But they are totally fine on their own, they do not absorb pee, leak or fall apart. I have one cat and I toss the Nature's Miracle box every 2-3 months, litter & all then replace with a new box and fresh litter. I NEVER smell the catbox at all and will NEVER scrub out a litter box again!

There's a fantastic book that addresses a lot of these points: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0307452425/ref=tmm_pap_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=&sr=

While I wholeheartedly agree psychiatric drugs should not be the go-to for children, talking to a therapist or another mental health professional can be highly beneficial, and drugs don't even need to be in the equation. In fact, Amber said "i want you to talk to a therapist" not, "I want you to see a psychiatrist." Also, Gary doesn't seem to be providing any coping mechanisms, whereas Amber says "There's things we can do to take your mind off it"

Possibly one of Ann Rule's best books about Diane Downs. It's a fantastic read. It's called Small Sacrifices. If you've never read Ann Rule, I apologize because now your to be read list is full.
