Well, it's one answer. Many people like the wand, and how powerful it is. If you're looking to get off quicker, it's definitely one means to that end. I'm trying to find another (EDIT- found it!) that a Redditor recommended a while back that she said felt "deeper" than other vibrators. But have you tried any vibrator before? A cheaper one may work.

However, it seems like the bigger issue is that you want rougher (or at least, more deep/stimulating) sex. IMO, oral sex isn't the best for that- everyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here, but I feel like hand jobs might suit your needs more. Not "light" clitoral stimulation, but a good rub down with lots of lube involved to prevent a raw feeling. You might also want to try

I was randomly browsing online and I literally made an account just to tell you this:
Ditch the coconut oil!!

There seems to be this whole craze online about how great and infallible coconut oil is as a lube -fuck knows why. This is very misleading and certainly does not apply to all people. I used to use it as lube in the past and though it never outright gave me a yeast infection, it used to irritate my vagina.. In minor ways, but still. Then about a week ago, I was out of lube, I decided to use coconut oil, and bam all of a suddenly I got this awful yeast infection. Also, I have a friend who, in the past, used coconut oil as lube and wound up getting some kind of infection (this was years ago, so I don't recall what kind of infection it was exactly though it may have been yeast) & when she went to the clinic the doctor strongly advised her against using it as lube.. I have also recently read posts online on doctor forums claiming they have seen yeast infections occur after the use of coconut oil as lube.. Wish I had the link but unfortunately I don't. Anyway, this is all anecdotal, but so are all the testimonies of people who say coconut oil is a great/safe lube. From what I understand, no one actually knows this for sure (scientifically). Look it up yourself if you wish, but anyway you have nothing to lose (except your yeast infections, potentially!) by trying. You are much better off using a PH balanced water-based lube. I would highly recommend this one (it's what I used currently):

Extra long foreplay, and if possible, edging. If not edging, then perhaps just long, slow, drawn out stimulation. You want to be as mentally aroused as you are physically aroused, and you want to be in a place where you're feeling "desperate" to come. That, and experimenting with speed and pressure like you've been doing :)

Some people also swear by stimulating gels or creams, I hear Foria's marijuana infused oil is good for this, but it's still illegal almost everywhere.

There are different products you can get online or in sex stores, though, that promise to increase blood flow to that area and maybe give a nice tingle. User experience varies depending on the product too. I have had good results with Shunga in the past, where as my friends that had the same stuff didn't.

I own this black corset and it is AMAZING. I'm planning on replacing the satin ribbon ties with actual laces, but it's well-constructed and cinches beautifully. I originally got it as a costume piece and didn't mind the risk on a $20 corset. Now, though, it's one of my favorite things. Im a curvy girl myself (5'8, 34E) and the large worked well.

  1. Yes, condoms make UTIs more likely for me. Female condoms are much better than male, and no condoms is best.
  2. D-Mannose pretty much cured me of my frequent UTIs. I take it with a huge glass of water whenever I feel like I might get one.

Take a gander at The Sexual Healing Journey by Wendy Maltz. It's worth it to read it through if you've been abused, I found it was great for getting me to think about sex in a more positive way, which in turn lead to more sex :) There are, maybe more importantly, partner exercises close to the end of the book that are erotic without the actual PIV sex which could boost your sex drive.

Definitely say something! I think the two of you need to have a discussion about this when you are NOT in the bedroom or watching porn-ish movie scenes. You need to find a way to separate the fantasy and dirty talk from the actual discussion about this.

Don't be afraid to put your cards in the table. Tell her your concerns.

I identified as straight for many years. I'm in a hetero marriage. But now I consider myself bisexual and I've had relationships with women. It is clear to me that if I'd met Ms. Right instead of Mr. Right, I would have identified as lesbian. But I often think trying to define sexually is just.... Semantics. Your wife is interested in some sort of experimentation with you, and you two need to decide if it is staying as fantasy (dirty talk in her ear) or if it'll possibly happen someday.

I highly recommend the book Opening Up to help you both have a better discussion about these sorts of things.

https://www.amazon.com/Waterpik-SM-653CG-Original-Shower-Massage/dp/B00178KW8E

My (long distance) boyfriend got me that for my birthday last year and it has been excellent ever since!

Also, regardless of which model you choose, I would recommend buying a longer hose. Replacing the original hose of the Waterpik model with a standard interchangeable 8 foot hose lets me sit in the bathtub while using the showerhead. I have trouble getting off while standing so it's important for me that the hose reaches the bathtub floor, but it's just more comfortable and useful for doing actual washing things. :p

From this, to this.

But this is the one we'd looked at before.

Good luck and have fun! :)

I think that Fun Factory's Layaspot is a great first-time vibrator, but I'm biased because it was mine. It's a handheld clitoral vibrator with 8 vibration levels and 3 patterns, and it's battery operated and pretty quiet. Also it's adorable. It's available at LoveHoney, but cheaper on Amazon UK.

I use probiotics just for general gut health (started when I was transitioning out of 8 years of being a vegetarian.) Instead of my usual ones (Olly), I found some on sale that were cranberry and probiotics specifically for vaginal health. I bought them because they were

  1. on sale

  2. I couldn't get over being able to buy vagina vitamins

  3. my vagina deserves to be spoiled

Anyway, I love them even more than my general probiotics, I try to take them dailyish and they are helpful for my gut biome and I definitely think they help keep my PH in check- I'll take an extra if anything is off down there and it gets back to normal pretty soon. I use these and I used to be able to find them on sale at Target but can't anymore.

I found that using a pH balancing lubricant basically got rid of the same problem I had. I got stuff called "just like me" (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00QLA2W2C/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1482126168&sr=8-1&keywords=just+like+me+lubricant&pi=SY200_QL40) and used it prior to intercourse.

Good luck and please update if you find something that works!

Seconding the open/poly lifestyle; if you can adjust, it's fucking fantastic for those of us with higher sex drives. Check out The Ethical Slut for that perspective. Sexual incompatibility doesn't need to spell the end of a relationship, or settling for less sex than you need. Perhaps you just need to supplement (openly and honestly).

It might be worth trying to find a small trimmer you could use to shorten the hairs back there. That would probably be less irritating than shaving. I shave my own so I can't say that I've ever tested this method, but I do have a bikini trimmer that I've used to tame the bush elsewhere and really like it, it's quick and easy and doesn't leave me with bumps or nicks even when I take the guard off, though it does leave some stubble still without the guard. Mine is sort of like this one.

u/SapientSlut · 3 pointsr/TwoXSex

Beard Trimmer would have been a better way to say that. This is the one that we have, but I’m sure a cheaper one would work fine:

Philips Norelco MG7750/49 Multigroom 7000 Face Styler and Grooming Kit, 23 Trimming Pieces, DualCut Technology, Fully Washable, Reinforced Guards, Rechargeable Battery, Stainless Steel Design https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07145GM4B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_unuxCb41Y1WRS

Get this!:

I just got it for my boyfriend and even though it was cheap, it works really well and we've been having a lot of fun with it.

Watch this.

And if you can, order her book.

I don't buy that there is always a "deeper relationship issue" when people aren't having sex. Sometimes couples have awesome friendships and relationships but the sexual spark is gone.
