You'll probably want to lower your sens a bit to a ton depending on what dpi/sens you're using right now. That's the biggest mistake newcomers to FPS games make. It's surprising how low some people play on. It allows you to aim with your whole arm instead of just your wrist. A lot of people will get large mouse mats like the qck+ so they don't run out of room. That and making sure you have good headphones for directional audio to hear footsteps and gunshots.


But above all else the best way to get better -aim wise and game sense wise- is to simply play more :)

Mice is hard since it depends on hand size and how you grip your mouse, but since you said you can palm a basketball I’d say choose a Large mouse.

Keyboard I’d recommend the g610 Orion from Logitech. Sturdy (great build quality) with great features and nothing over the top.

Even if for some reason (i doubt, is one of the best multiplayer experience i had since COD4 [plot twist: they are the same guys =)]) you don't get hooked up by the multiplayer, 12 $ is already VERY worth for the awesome single player campaign.

It was a huge change and I feel like I'd struggle to go back to pressing the sticks in and not being able to move and loot. There is 100% huge value to being able to just spam grab while you're moving both sticks.

Personally I found the Razer to be significantly better than the SCUF (friend has one), and it has sensitivity shifting functions that to my knowledge no other controller has.

You can have it either drop your sens on button-press (adjustable) or raise it (also adjustable) and I loved that.

I think there are audiophiles with stronger opinions than me tho. The only thing I will recommend is to use them with VELOUR ear pads and not pleather. The pleather earpads make the bass super heavy and uneven, I also find the velour is more comfortable

Get a power line adapter bro. It’s essentially hard wiring your system without the long cable. Instead, it goes through your home’s electrical cables. Super cheap and works great. I have this one I posted. Never have issues and my reception is amazing despite my router being three rooms away.

It seems they sell 1000 apex coins. I don't know if it's real, but I believe it is.
Edit: it seems they don't sell it anymore, but I think there must be some way to buy 1000 apex as a gift card, and not using the same credit card for two accounts.

I just want the Bloodhound skin and you get 1000 Apex Coins so its a pretty good deal imo.

The m50x are really good headphones, you can actually buy either a modmic or a VMODA boom mic they sound really good, you can find reviews on youtube, and use them with your m50x's.

What i did was, i bought the modmic and the ATH-AD500x, which are open back headphones, that gives me a really nice sound stage since there's air going in and out with the sound, the only problem is that they will leak a lot of sound, so if you share your gaming room with someone else they will probably hear everything.

Now upgrade to a gaming monitor and you'll never want to play on a TV again. Could use something like this on console and it would work great:

FYI: If you are using an Xbox One controller with the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter and using Apple headphones (the free ones that come with an iPhone), the mic will put out a constant stream of "ANNNNHHHHHHHHHH".

I love apex, it's a lot of fun to play but sometimes it's annoying to play. I keep constantly getting a blue tint on my screen that's on my whole monitor even when I exit the game. The only fix is to turn off and back on my monitor. It happens most of the time when I take a lot of dmg or go down. I've changed all of my settings multiple times but nothing has changed it. It's never happened on my monitor before and I can't find anything online about it.

Create a party, but then you won't be able to hear the other teammate. This used to be $25 but you can get an adapter to adjust game and chat volume from the controller.
