Step 1: Remember this - There is no writers block. It's like when you are talking to someone and have trouble remembering a word, then you bring attention to the fact that you can't remember the word, and this seals the fate that you can't remember the word, and then later the word comes to you because you are not obsessing over not being able to remember the word

Step 2: Try one of this to shift your mindset.

-Go for a walk.
-Take a shower
-Ask yourself "What experience do I want to create for listeners next?"
-Trying humming or singing
-If you've been writing music first, focus on writing the next lyrics. If you've been writing lyrics first, focus on writing the next music.
-Pick up a different instrument. For example, write your next guitar part on a piano.
-Ask yourself, "What factors in this song are feeding my uncertainty of what to do next?" Don't be afraid to make modifications to what you already have.
-Call a friend who knows you well, tell them about what you are hung up on. Good friends will elevate your mood and restore your confidence
-Ask, "What would random musician do here?" Do this several times.
-Go listen to 5 random songs on a favorites playlist. Ask yourself, "What is it about this song that makes it work so well?" Find the universal concepts behind the song. "It builds and builds and builds, then builds some more the when it hits, it delivers maximum payoff." Or "The rhythm of the words works very will the rhythm of the instruments" etc, etc. can any of these universal principles apply to your song?
-Try something, anything, and be okay if it sucks. If it sucks, you can always change it. You can always edit a bad page, but you can never edit a blank page.
-Get "The Muse Is In" by Jill Badonsky https://www.amazon.com/Muse-Owner%C2%92s-Manual-Your-Creativity/dp/0762444673
-Get an app called The Brainstormer and spin the wheel, see what ideas pop up.
-Develop a mindset of always looking for new and exciting ways to be creative. You will never run out of ideas. The only danger is to do similar things to what you've already done, so as long as you are always shaking things up for yourself you will always be fresh.
-Know that there many, many, MANY solutions to writers block. Just because you hit a dead end doesn't there aren't dozens of others paths that will get you there.
-Let's this video inspire you and remind you there's no wrong way to proceed. https://youtu.be/I2Ej4Jpquas
