Castor oil absolutely works and is a great natural and inexpensive way to grow your lashes but it TAKES TIME and you NEED to be consistent. Buy some cold pressed castor oil (this one has a container and lash brush which really helps with application). Every.single.night before you go to bed, massage the brush and wiggle it into your lashes especially at the base of your lash line. You probably won’t start seeing results until a month in. Don’t give up after a few days or weeks cuz you haven’t seen results yet. Once you do see them, they tend to really kickstart and grow quicker at that point. So the key is to just stick to it.

It takes time because it’s natural and has less chemicals in it to speed up the process like the lash boosts and the ones they sell super expensive in stores. Pick what you prefer but if you’re going for a more inexpensive approach and have patience, this will be a super effective method!

You can try Likas papaya, I haven't used it but i've read good reviews and I feel like it'll be a safer bet than a chemical option since its supposed to be natural.

I've used Kojie San soap which is very popular in Asia. I got sun burned and was several shades darker but i'm back to my natural shade in less than a month. This one's a bit drying so I'd be weary about using it in such a sensitive area.

I previously used Lactacyd White Intimate but only used one bottle and didn't see much of a change so I can't attest to how well it works since I don't think i gave it enough time. But it's made for your lady parts so it might be a safer option to begin with.

Whatever you chose, keep in mind that your vagina needs to remain at a pH of around 3.5-4.5 and using certain soaps arouund that area can alter the balance of healthy bacteria which can cause infections. So be careful and if you feel like something's off stop what you're using and consult a physician.

Hi! I have dry sensitive skin and I'm a face mask junkie lol. I love tonymoly masks, their my latest favorite. Moisturizing, brightening, and radiance are my favorites. I also love the rose stem cell bio repair gel mask by Peter Thomas Ross, its moisturizing and multifunctional but doesn't irritate my skin at all and feels great. Another thing I'd look into is hyaluronic lotion which is pretty popular in Korea. This is a product review about a popular hyaluronic lotion and it's very informative.

I've been a professional makeup artist for over a decade and have worked with many male celebrities. When it comes to simple male grooming, I follow these steps:

First of all, yes to moisturizer. Yes, yes, yes. That alone will give life to and even out your skin. It will make every product you put on afterwards apply more evenly. Put it on directly out of the shower and let it sink into your skin while you get dressed. I prefer Clinique Dramatically Different or Cetaphil. Both are unscented and don't leave a residue. They absorb quite well.

For dark circles, make sure you are using a liquid concealer under your eyes, as opposed to a cream. Liquid is much more appropriate for under eye skin texture as its less cakey and less likely to form creases in fine lines. My favorite under eye concealer is MAKE UP FOR EVER's Lift Concealer. Easy to find online. A tube will last you a long time. It is the best under eye concealer I've found on the market, and I've tried many. http://m.sephora.com/product/P12661
Make sure you are aren't going with a color that is too light, as that will look obvious. Against popular opinion, do not use a shade lighter under your eyes. The key is to use a peachy shade. This will counteract the blue tone present in dark circles. It will cover much more effectively than a lighter shade. It will also look more natural. You can alternatively buy an ORANGE correcting concealer to mix with your current concealer. It should drastically enhance whatever coverage you are currently getting. http://www.amazon.com/NYX-Cosmetics-Concealer-Orange-0-25/dp/B004QQ1170

For enlarged pores, I suggest a pore refining primer. I love Dr. Brandt's Pores No More. Put it on at the very end of your routine. It will erase any visible pores. It's my favorite last step.

Also, make sure your eyebrows are tidy. Not overly groomed, but I always use a clear eyebrow gel to keep them in place.

Lip balm or chapstick is also great for a finishing touch.

Hi!

My hair is long, waivy and can get frizzy. I FINALLY got it under control (I sound like an AD) after discovering the Schwarzkopf product lines. They're from Germany and I've been hooked for the last three years.

LEAVE IN CONDITIONER: For a good leave-in conditioner (that's not too heavy)- Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Repair Rescue Intense Spray Conditioner. It leaves the hair really soft and it doesn't feel... heavy/ pasty.

http://www.amazon.com/Schwarzkopf-Professional-Bonacure-Intense-Treatment/dp/B008BKGX02/ref=sr_1_2?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1450390758&sr=1-2&keywords=Schwarzkopf+BC+Bonacure+Repair+Rescue+Intense+Spray+Conditioner

LUSTRE LOTION: I don't know if this is a leave in conditioner, but it it's great for making my hair look nice and less frizzy.

http://www.amazon.com/Smooth-Operator-Smoothing-Lustre-Cashmere/dp/B007A4DMP4/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1450390658&sr=1-2-catcorr&keywords=schwarzkopf+cashmere

TO BLOWDRY SUPER FAST: I'm really lazy when it comes to blow drying my hair - like SOOOO LAZY. I found this other (surprise!) schwarzkopf spray and it makes my hair dry SOOO fast.

http://www.amazon.com/Got2b-Mind-Blowing-Xpress-Styling/dp/B00U9XCLM8/ref=sr_1_13?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1450390846&sr=1-13&keywords=Schwarzkopf+blow+dry

GOOD LUCK!

I'm Italian with Russian mixed in so in the winter I have the same problem as my hair is dark but my skin is paler. I invested in my own waxing kit and I buy wax specified for sensitive skin. Try asking a salon or ordering yourself the wax that you use on bikini areas. Its a LOT more soothing. I use more of a honey based wax myself, which seems to work alright
This is the wax kit I have http://www.amazon.com/GiGi-Mini-Pro-Waxing-Kit/dp/B000BJ1CGQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1370873321&sr=8-2&keywords=gi+gi+mini+wax+kit And you can choose other waxes. Most Sally's Beauty Supply stores have all the compatible waxes and you can easily find muslin strip and stick refills. This has saved me so much money since I, like you, am a hairy hairy lady. Good luck!

I have the same issue - I have the blue darkness from having too thin/light skin on top of veins so the darkness shows through. I'm 32 but also have had this my whole life and have spent thousands of dollars on just about everything - pills, creams, treatments, dermatolgists, estheticians, etc since i was 18. After trying everything, the only good fix I have found is filler injected by a Dr skilled in the canula method (to avoid brusing). This helps the appearance greatly for 1 to 1.5 years by putting a pad of filler between the veins and skin. For a temp fix, graftobian corrector concealer is great (soft orange and pink colors), but be aware that caused some temporary milia for me so now I only use it when my filler is running out or special occasions. The colors look weird but they counteract the blue/darkness and blend well. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00462OE3M?keywords=graftobian%20corrector&qid=1450327584&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2 Good luck! I dont usually comment here but I wanted to save someone else the trouble of trying everything I did that didnt work. If you dont have the vein issue but have more of a browness on top of the skin, I saw a laser procedure on the Doctors that seemed to work for that type.

If you have good skin, you don't need a lot of makeup, so consider investing in a quality moisturizer and cleanser (/r/skincareaddition suggests CeraVe brand cleansers and moisturizers). Those are your two basics.

With great skin as your canvas, next consider investing in quality cosmetics. For example, there are big differences between the $7 and the $25+ brands of mascara. A $28 tube of mascara won't flake into my eyes throughout the day and curls my lashes for me (dead serious, I haven't touched my eyelash curler in weeks). You can't say the same for that $6 tube of CoverGirl LashBlast.

For daily wear, I use a concealer to cover dark eye circles, a nude shadow to "set" the concealer for all day wear, a curling mascara for my lashes, and lip balm. I purchase my cosmetics through Sephora, because they have fantastic salespeople that will show you how to use the products and recommend solutions for your individual situation. If you don't like something, you can take it back without any questions or hassle. Here is what I love:

Yves Saint Laurent TOUCHE ÉCLAT concealer pen

Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara

Advanced Airbrush Set

Just like painting a wall in your house, using a brush instead of your fingers to apply your makeup will give you a different finish. I splurged on a set of synthetic airbrush-finish brushes, and I have been impressed with the difference that using a good brush will make.

I smashed my face last year when I fell down a mountain. Thanks to the following, my face is back to the exact same with the exception of a teeny scar. Mederma, a tad expensive due to SPF but worth it cuz it was my goddamn face, triple antibiotic ointment linked here but cheaper when purchased as a generic, and Cocoa butter with vitamin E, also available in Walmart/Target places for half the price as listed here. Basically what you're looking for is lotions with vitamin E. I've had luck looking in the "ethnic" hair/lotion/body products section, and there's a whole variety of oils and lotions and rubs. Personally, my favorite is this one and it's usually $2 in store. Bio Oil can be a bit expensive, but a great and comparable product is Africa's Best Moroccan oil, or generic Baby Oil. Again, most of these products are available at Walmart/Target for a fraction of the price. They're all fairly pricey online because of the weight/shipping prices, despite it being shipped via Prime.

Omg I absolutely LOVE my waxing kit! I’ve had it for 7 years now and it was probably the best money I’ve ever spent! Waxing is great because it lasts a good amount of time, doesn’t make your skin darker (like shaving might), and because I do it at home, I’ve probably saved nearly 1k by doing it myself!
I have this kit

10/10 recommend!

My hair sounds like it’s very similar to yours in texture. I don’t use a flat iron on mine, but I do blow dry with a vented or paddle brush to smooth it out on my wash days. I know you just asked for a texturizing spray, which I do use, but this full combination of products is what helps make the texture and volume last all day, without reapplications.

This mousse on damp hair, followed by
This primer spray for heat protection and to speed up the drying process
• Blow dry till 80% dry, then finish drying with a vented brush
• Once hair is dry, apply a teensy bit of this cream, followed by
This dry texture spray
• Then maybe a bit of flexible hold hairspray, depending on how I’m wearing my hair that day

The texturizing spray is amazing, but it doesn’t give the volume and the texture I’m looking for without the mousse, and it would wear off by the end of the day without the cream underneath. My friend who wears her hair curly uses the same cream, just on damp hair for curl definition. Ulta and Target carry some of these products as well.

I hope you find something that works for you!
