Whether it is actually better or not, that's highly debatable and according to taste. But the cuisine in London/ UK is not neglectable and has a very rich background.
One of the most influential chefs in the world such as Heston Blumenthal (which is largely inspired by Harold McGee, an American), Marco Pierre White (he partly wrote modern cuisine, also an awesome person to hear) and Michel Roux (both senior as junior) have worked their careers in the UK. Each of them have defined a part of cooking/ cuisine in their way.
Not to forget the Commonwealth as well indeed, which brought a lot to the UK.
Really been watching too much MasterChef UK/ Australia and to one of my cooking teachers who really loves to read about history/ science of food. Then again, it's awesome to hear and to know as food is a way of sharing love, express your creativity and bonds and is such an important aspect of our lives/ society/ culture.
Some books which are awesome and I also have in my collection are:
Honestly, couldn't forget the latter of course.
Not sure if you've played then, but haven't: Kerbal Space Program is the best way to get an intuitive understanding of orbital mechanics. If you like to play God you should also try the Universe Sandbox, and if you want a really really hardcore space sim you should play (or wait, it's still in alpha) for Rogue System.
As for actual books, OpenStax recently published their free astronomy book, and it's quite good for an introduction. From there, it depends entirely on what you're interested in, there's literally a universe's worth of information about
Astrophysics,
Astrochemistry,
Astrobiology,
Astrometry and
Orbital mechanics (for the aspiring galactic navigator),
Cosmology,
Planetary geology and
Cosmochemistry (careful, these last two lead to geology and meteorology which are equally disastrously addictive fields!)
Also, feel free to follow NASA's, ESA's, and JAXA's blogs. And spend a minute each morning checking the astronomy picture of the day.
Just don't end up llike me and annoy all your friends.
ETFs are investment funds.
Basically, a regular investment fund buys shares in companies with the money you give them personally. But those often require minimal inputs, like 5000-10000 euro minimum, or much more, depending.
An ETF (it's called an exchange-traded fund) is an investment fund that buys shares in companies. And then you buy a share of the investment fund itself, which allows you to indirectly own the shares they own. The benefit is that you can invest with much less money, and they tend to have lower management fees too.
You can use ETFmatic which allows you to simply allocate a monthly amount that automatically goes from your bank account and then they invest it for you, depending on what your goal is (you can set asset allocation yourself, so for example if you want 40 percent bonds and 60 percent stocks you just change the asset allocation with a slider and they invest your money so you get that).
Only drawback is that the choice of funds is limited, but for noobs that's actually an upside, since it makes things much less complicated.

Also, I highly recommend you read this book to start out. For personal finance, this is hands down the best book for noobs. A bit US-centric (skip the part on credit card debt), but overall, a good intro to managing your finances.
Yes, they have more power than their seats suggest, I agree with that, but the monumental chance of having this backfire when voters are told you are the problem because of sabotaging the big party (and can be blamed for the shortcomings of the coalition) is a risk that has to be considered low enough to make it worthwhile. Because, then not only, will the current voters believe the bigger party did their best, but will have an easy scapegoat to blame all the problems on (even if it wouldn't be true, people go through amazing lengths to find "explanations" after the fact, I recommend The Righteous Mind by Jonathan Haidt that shows this phenomenon).
Besides that, NVA avoids controversy (as best as possible), Forza happily provokes it (and seemingly acts incredulous afterwards). A coalition between the two would mean NVA would have to defend itself against the controversy created by Forza. Even if Forza does this accidentally, NVA isn't exactly prepared to deal with it judging by how De Wever has responded to Forza's controversies, which I can understand and is their right.
Bose QC35 s have been the reference for a long while. But now I see more Sony's on the plane
https://www.amazon.com/Sony-Noise-Cancelling-Headphones-WH1000XM3/dp/B07G4MNFS1
I bought the predecessor XM2 when the XM3 came out, with a hefty discount, and I am super happy about them.
Before I had the AKG N60. Loved the sound. But they are on-ears, rather than over over-ears, so less noise cancelling, but more comfort and more compact. The sound was good (better than the Sony imho), but less happy with the build quality as the foam pad (simili) leather became undone. They've now updated them, so I assume they dealt with that issue?

Source: 6 flights a month. You never realised what a godsend noise cancelling is, until you see your neighbor with his hands over you ears, switch off the noise cancelling and find out there's a kid wailing in the seat in front.

Exclusively is indeed too big of a word. Predominantly would be more accurate, as that appears to be the case in the us, especially in the last elections. And the article makes the case that in Belgium there appears is a similar trend.
And this shouldn't surprise, as it's inline with more recent psychological insights (mainly from the us). This is a good read on the topic, if you're interested

> You've now handwaived my entire response, the question I posed is one neither one of us can answer, so I'm a little bit confused at how you came to a conclusion.
Because we were talking about de roover not about hedebouw. So either de rover made a comparison and then laughed with himself as everyone wrongly saw that as a joke, or he made a joke where people and himself laughed with.

> This might be a bit too forward of me, but if you ever have the time, I'd highly recommend this book. It doesn't take political stances, instead it showcases research on why political debates never end. I massively enjoyed reading it years ago, and gave me some introspection into why I took the positions I did back then, and my immobility of changing my point of view at times.
Recomending a book is never "too forward in my opnion.

And i'll check it out, thx.
Always compare the 3, they all deliver free from a certain amount.
I recently bought a tool and ended up using .co.uk, and it got delivered for free in 3 weekdays:
[DE](
http://www.amazon.de/Bosch-0603100501-Multifunktionswerkzeug-PMF-190/dp/B0090AC2Z2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1368712800&sr=8-1&keywords=bosch+190) - 142€
FR - 164€
UK - 105€
This may not be the best example since .co.uk is the only one that delivers through amazon, but in any case, just compare the three :)
How can you live without those? I had sort of figured that they had them in Europe since they're in literally every store in in the US/Canada, but that really sucks. They're probably the best snack food in the world.
Anyway, it looks like you can order them on Amazon, but I don't know if they ship them to Belgium.
http://www.amazon.com/Cheez-It-Baked-Snack-Crackers-Original/dp/B001ONVON4
Anybody know a way to order the witcher book collection in English?
I know that they sell them in This: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/912359795X?pf_rd_p=330fbd82-d4fe-42e5-9c16-d4b886747c64&pf_rd_r=SVEXN5CJXMCK1E0NC1XC bundle but for some reason amazon uk and DE won't ship it to Belgium. Shipping from US would double the price and ordering the separate books from Bol would also increase the price.
Any idea's?

A. As a nightshifter: Royally fuck you winterhour, let the time of depression and moodswing begin!
B. Just spent 1.5 fucking hours trying to look for 1. a tool (or) 2. the name of the fucking tool in Dutch
It's fucking sick, I need this thing to unclog my fucking bath, 10$ on amazon in the US, OR a fucking 80 euros on amazon.de (?!!) OR it's a reasonable price but they're unable to deliver
So then, maybe fucking bol.com or gamma or something... half an hour of searching for the translation of 'dumbell wrench', conclusion: It just doesn't have a fucking name, I tried everything.
I'm done with this for today, I guess I'll just cry in the shower whenever I use it and it starts overflowing and reminding me of my incompetence /s
Could also pay someone to do it, but who's got the fucking money for that?
If any of you have a golden tip.... I'd be grateful
(it's to remove the drain-cover-shitthing from my bath, which has been clogged off and on up for 5 years or so)
Edit: Thanks for the helpful advice <3 Appreciate it!
