I’ve used Fiio BTR3 and it works good and delivers great sound actually (much better than original sound). the battery life is 10 hours. the only trick is that mic on bose is not working and the mic on the dongle works instead.
I think you may also use other models from fiio too, the differ by battery life and quality.

edit: buttons in the bose are not working at all. you have to use buttons in the dongle instead or use volume your phone (if you play from the phone).

There are a couple of products out there. One is something like this, you simply plug your headphones into the adapter and go. There are other products that get rid of the wire completely but they won't work with your headphones because the AE2's have that weird shape for their input and, in typical Bose fashion, they use a 2.5mm input instead of the standard 3.5mm.

The first option is your best bet. They're inexpensive, have long battery lives (I used to have a Bluetooth clip like that and would easily get 16+ hours out of it), and will work with any wired headphone.

3rd party, I don't believe Bose sell the headbands.

This is the one I bought. Quality is pretty much equivalent to OEM, it's comfortable and hasn't started peeling in 3 years.

I like the comfort of them in general. But find I sometimes pull them out of my ears when sleeping (Not on a plane)

Sounds like we have a similar setup. I have the Bose 300 soundbar and a Sony XBR X900F. I have an Apple TV 4K, Amazon Fire TV, Xbox One X and a Nintendo Switch.

Since there is only one HDMI port on the TV that outputs 4K HDR, I bought an HDMI switch from Amazon that has been working like a champ. Using the switch I have been able to plug in all the devices and they have been spot on outputting 4K HDR signals from whatever device outputs that high. Initially I had an issue where Dolby Vision would only output a green color but I think that has been addressed in a firmware update as I haven’t seen that in quite some time.

I do still occasionally see the issue where it forgets the soundbar and goes to the internal speakers but it only happens sometimes when I first turn on the system. If I turn the soundbar and tv off and back on then it works like it’s supposed to. With my workaround and the infrequency of it happening I really haven’t looking into it very hard.

I would venture a guess that it might have something to do with some CEC setting but I don’t know for sure.

Another cool (Only option if your TV has no 3.5mm Aux port) option is to convert your Bose System to wireless system. You can buy a Bluetooth enabler something like this

These will help your Bose system receive Sound input via Bluetooth, however there maybe some lag depending on multiple factors.

  I bought one of these 3.5mm to 2.5mm jack adapters that will let you use any standard 3.5mm to 3.5mm aux cable with the headphones and doesn't limit you to a very narrow selection of wires that you can use. I'm not really sure if it will fit because, but it should judging by the picture/size. You can also buy this exact same one off eBay for less than $0.99 but it takes a month to get.
  
  I'm probably use a more durable tangle free cable when I get it, I'm not a huge fan of the cable that it comes with, ever since I first got mine, I knew that the cable it came with wouldn't last long.

In case you don't want to pay Bose's ridiculously overpriced earpads. There is no Bose logos or branding on them, but there is a very good chance they are all made by the same factory anyways.

They fit the QC20s but I think there was a q on the comply website and a rep said they wont fit the QC30’s...

buy an internal networking card instead. They're roughly the same price and the usb bt dongles only output Bluetooth, not input it.
