The plastic tooth pick idea for teeth should be prefect, if you had something like a soldering iron to touch them mid way so you can bend the teeth back. You can find a small chain somewhere and I'd even clear epoxy the chain in a position like the actual mimics. Post pics if you do build it and great idea!

   We also have to keep in mind hardware limitations, they can't really have a perfect goo with goo physics(?) with debris and all that, it's difficult enough to make decent goo physics but making goo physics in a constantly moving boss that's digesting a bunch of skeleton ON TOP of everything else going on in that room...I think they'd rather make sure the fight runs well and having a cool design, than worry about the gooeyness of the bottom part of his body.

You want the model with a 3.5mm jack. Not because of the 3.5mm itself, but because these models have better bumpers.

If you're a hardcore DualShock fan, you can also get the DS4 to work just fine after you install a program (can't remember the name of it, but it should be easy to find). Very few games have the correct button prompts for DS4 controllers, so you'd have to wait for a modder to upload the correct textures to the Dark Souls 3 Nexus.

Lastly, there's the Steam Controller. It's a neat controller, and it works well for many games once you get used to it, but Dark Souls is not one of those games. Wouldn't recommend it for the Souls series.

EDIT: Also, the Xbox 360 controller will work fine. You can probably find a wired version (has to be wired unless you buy a ~$20 dongle on Amazon) for cheap. Your local Walmart (or national equivalent) probably sells off-brand wired 360 controllers for $25.

Based on these requirement, your best bet is to get a laptop with minimal GTX 860m GPU. Some variant of Lenovo Y50 have this GPU.

The bad news is laptop with GTX 860m is priced at 1100 bucks. But I've seen some offers at amazon where you can get them at $899

Some laptops have some gimmick like 4K extra crispy resolution screen, touch screen etc, you do not want it since it only serves to increase the price without any impact on your game performance.

My advice for you is to wait until Dark Souls 3 finally released, and then ask around anyone with cheap laptop if they can play Dark Souls 3. Then buy that laptop. It is most likely you don't even need GTX 465 or ATI Radeon TM HD 6870 (both these is desktop GPU) equivalent on laptop which is GTX 860m to play Dark Souls 3 like the Steam page said. Minimal game requirement usually are overblown for some reason.

Question about region locking. Sorry, hard to find solid information on this game when it isn't out yet.

After informing a bit more, it seems like Berserk is the best answer to my question. Now I wonder, whether this is the first of the English series. The release date is from 2009 while the next volumes are from 2004.

Is this 2009 release just a remake? Is it as good/the same as the original?

This is the processor I have and I never have any problems. I havent even bothered overclocking it because i havent had the need to. This specific link is a bit high priced, so you may want to shop around a bit. I think I paid somewhere around 250-300 for mine a couple years ago.

Sounds like everything else is ok. If you want to be extra sure, run a scan with super anti spy ware to check for viruses and the likes. Then maybe crystal disk scan to check for hard drive errors. Both of those can definitely impact game peformance. Other than that, I can't think of much else to do except upgrade your rig.

A good gaming laptop should have a mobile i7 CPU and 960M or higher GPU minimum. What matters for CPUs is the physical core count (4 preferred), not thread count since games do not take advantage of hyper-threading. There i5s with two cores and two hyper-threaded cores which are no good, so always check if the i5 has two or four physical cores.

A good gaming desktop on the other hand should have something like AMD FX6300 or higher, or Intel I5 (desktop version) for CPU and Nvidia GTX950 or higher, or AMD R9 370 or higher for GPU. GPU will have a bigger impact on performance in majority of games. A desktop will also in most cases offer a lot more performance than a similarly priced laptop.

Only written lore is found in game or originated from in game. I know that some of the Soulsborne games have a written guide which you can buy. These books could also discuss the game's lore.

to elaborate on my disdain for fromsoft as a whole is that i just want to play with my friends and the best way was with arguably the best vanilla game in the series, dark souls PTD, but now we all have to ramp 25 more into each. and the reason we decided to get a DS3 torrent is because it was the only one we could get to work (could not fine dark souls 1 torrent of any kind). And as for dark souls 2, although we all have it, i don't feel like i need to explain why we don't use it for multiplayer, its pretty obvious.
